[APP][FREE/PAID] Simple Media Player - Android Apps and Games

There is one thing which i find annoying on all media players for Android which I've tried: creating and managing a playlist is unnecessary complicated. For example, you need to create a playlist, after that browse though the song files, find one which you want in that playlist, long click on it and select Add to playlist, select the playlist and after that browse for another song and so on. What if you want to create a playlist with 100 songs? I find this really complicated and time consuming. And if you organize your music directory like me, with subdirectories for different genres or different artists, and at some point you want to listen just to some artist, what can you do? Same thing: create a playlist, after that browse though the song files, find one which you want in that playlist, long click on it and select Add to playlist, select the playlist and after that browse for another song......
So I've decided to create my own media player for Android, a media player with better playlist management. I'm still using the old PC version of Winamp (2.91) and i really like the simple playlist management. Want to add some media files to the playlist? Just navigate to the location of those files, select them and press a button - all those files will be added to your playlist. DO you want to add to your playlist all media files in a specific directory? Navigate to that directory and press a button and all the files found in that directory will be added to your playlist. And of course, you can save a playlist, or load a previously saved playlists. And that's what I've done with my media player for Android. It's a simple media player which can play mp3, ogg and wav files; it can read ID3 tags; it has all necessary functions (repeat, shuffle, search, save/load playlists) for a media player and nothing more, just to keep it simple and user-friendly.
It is available on Android Market (QR below) in 2 versions: one paid, for 1.5$ and one free. It works on Android 2.2 and newer.
Paid version:

Free Version:

NEEDED !! Windows media player playlist creator

Can anyone provide me with Windows media player playlist creator ... So that i can create playlist on computer and save it on mobile to play it ...
Moved as not software release.
Don't use WMP on phone but surely it can read .m3u playlist files? PocketPlayer does
So you can create the playlist on computer "i use Winamp" then just copy files and .m3u to phone.
Hi,
attached cab is a little playlistmanager.
with friendly greet
starbase64
I am using this freeware, Playlist Creator, on my WinXP PC.
http://www.oddgravity.de/app-opc.php
easier way
Well neither of those suggestions work on my HTC HD2 especially considering m3u is not native to WMP
so..
You can either create your playlists in Windows Media Player on PC but obviously with the files on your phones memory card, and choose File -> Save Now playing List as...
then choose 'any type' and call your playlist 'untitled.asx' or whatever as long as it ends in asx
otherwise i used Winamp its much easier to create playlists (m3u) and/or if you already have .m3u's just drag and drop them into the now playing in WMP and save as above
- save any .asx to the root folder of music drive of your phone
hope thats clear enough

[Q] [QUESTION]How do I manage Playlists in Mango - create - edit - change order

So, on my LG Quantum, I was trying to create a new playlist from my existing mp3 files. When I do this, it creates a playlist with everysong.
So what's the point of creating a playlist if it has everysong?
Also, I am not seeing anyway to adjust the order of a playlist.
When I shuffle, it switches from playing a playlist, to playing all music.
Maybe it's as simple as clearing the music that is considered now playing. But, I am not seeing where that is displayed.
Starting up Music, the first screen says
Zune, with items (music, videos, podcasts, radio, marketplace)
The next screen says Histroy with tiles of songs and playlists.
The only menu options are play music and search marketplace.
The next screen says new with tiles of songs and playlists.
Again, the only menu options are play music and search marketplace.
The next screen says apps.
It lists MSN Money Stocks, and YouTube and YouTube again.
The only menu is search marketplace.
The next option takes me back to zune.
Since I want to create a playlist, I select music.
I can play an album and create a playlist from it.
If I play a song and create a playlist, it puts every song on my device in the playlist.
If like an album, but don't necessarily want all the songs of it in a particular playlists, I see no way to remove a song from a playlist, or create a playlist without the one song.
Anyone know how to create a playlist. Then add just the songs that you want to the list. Then shuffle the playlist. Then later remove and add songs to the playlist.
If there is an app that accomplishes this, I am fine purchasing it. I am just a little shocked that this is not built in or easier to figure out.
After going here: http://windowsphone.uservoice.com/forums/101801-feature-suggestions
And reading all requests for playlist, the feature just is not implemented well.
There is not a good way to create new playlists.
Only thing I can think will sort of work is to create a playlist on your computer with 1 song that you like or just a 1 second or shorter song of just silience.
Sync that your device. Now you can play the playlist. Then add songs to the now playing. then create a new playlist from that.
It's a lame work around and it won't get around the fact that you can't remove a song from a playlist.

Playlist Feature (Shoutcast, WinAmp, etc)

I'm not sure if this feature has been suggested, or if it already exists (being unable to find it), but I would really like the ability to build and manage playlists in MX Player.
I really do love how MX Player can run independent of playlists, jumping to the next file in a local folder (or shuffling if enabled), but sometimes I'm keen to watch or listen to a specific series of media, even web media and streams.
Now that WinAmp is dead, I do hope that some of the features found in WinAmp will find their way into MX Player. That includes:
Playlists
Shoutcast streams
More prominent Shuffle and Loop buttons (took me a long time to find this hidden feature).
Also, I would really love the ability to copy or bookmark the address of streaming media. For instance, if I choose MX Player to play a .pls or .m3u link, that media opens in MX Player, but I have no means of copying or bookmarking it to play again later.
Thanks bleu8888.

Already on the feature list from a long time ago. (high priority #8). Ctrl+F in the "feature requests" sticky post next time
Also if you are looking for a dedicated, feature-rich music app, I would recommend PowerAmp.

Need a simple music and movie player that doesn't scan file information

I need a music player that only would build a playlist by you manually going to a specific directory and then select by file name. I don't want any player that scan for all your music files everywhere on your phone and try to build a fancy database to let you select by artist, genre, whatever.... Yes, call me old fashion but i am a minimalist.... Obviously i still like the player to have all the audio features and etc, but i find that all of these database based player screws up after you remove and add stuff to the sdcard, etc...... just take too long to get them to rescan thousands of file and they don't even do it correctly. Thanks but no thanks. I manage my music by file and directory name just fine....lol
Also I use MX player as my movie player for my old phone and that thing simple being simple is great!
