Worms 2 Armageddon is in google shop now. But it isn't avaible in my country. Could someone check is it Xperia Play optimised ? Is it works ? I wait for this game for long time and it's shame that it isn't avaible for me .

Says in the description that it is optimized for touch screen. BTW its a really good game and works great!
I love Armageddon but if you want a game-pad optimized version then you could always go the FPSe route.

No bluetooth controller support either? I can understand devs not wanting to spend time adding specific support for our now dated device, but bluetooth controller support would be nice.
I have the previous Worms game that was in the Play store, but never could track down an Xperia Play optmized version... I found using the ninja-rope skillfully to be very difficult with touch controls - just can't seem to get around as easily.

Konami take their time these days. They once had it all in terms of football games, now they are left trailing far, far behind.
The good news is that their mobiles offerings are like their PS1/PS2 games, and nothing like their current batch of nonsense.
Can't wait to play this with XPLAY controls.
I have my hopes in PES 2012. That can be a really great footy game.
Bought it, had a good play.
Its definitely the best footy game for Android.
However, it is not as good as an older Iphone version I had.
Nor does it come close to the PSP version (obviously, but was hoping for same gameplay, just inferior graphics - but the gameplay has changed - it's more structured, less fluid and lacks the 'anything can happen' factor of PES).
It is nowhere near as much fun as the 10 year old ISS Pro Evolution 2 on FPSE. (though sadly, this game crashes all the time [usually when you score a goal) on FPSE - if anyone can recommend any settings to keep it going, I would like as it is perfect otherwise and a far superior game to the Android version).
Let's get ISS Pro Evo 2 working on FPSE instead!!!

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that The Conduit actually does work on the Xperia Play. Since the first two levels are free to play I decided to download it (from a third party as it's not available for R800i on Google Play) and discovered it really is optimized for Tegra 3 but not exclusive to it. Unfortunately there is gamepad compatibility but you can adjust some graphical parameters, which help the game run smoothly on the device. Combine that with a GameKeyboard file and...

Yup, this game runs on pretty much any device. Xperia Play owners can download it from Google Play if they edit their build.prop or use a device spoofing app. I had to turn the graphics wwwaaaaaaayyyy down because i'm not overclocked.

I want to get know what emulators You are using. I'm asking for this because i had to change a system for ICS. And my favourite emulators (from *oids series) lags as hell on ICS and I'm looking for oportunity. I want to ask You for write a name of emulator - system, and why You are using it. In google play there are lots of diffrent emulators (lots of them are crappy).
OK lets start from me:
Frodo C64 - Commodore C64 - only one good emulator, plays almost all roms. Good speed (sometimes laggy).
Collen - Atari XL/XE - one of my favourite emulators of all time on android. Plays all games, great speed, quick saves, XP pad can be assign.
TigerMame 4.0.0 - arcade - good emulator based on Finalburn code. Neogeo,capcom games works better then on the other emulators. Fast, simple, fun (and there are DIP switches in last update !)
UAE4Droid - Amiga 500/600/1200 - best. From last update (AGA is now support) plays almost all games, hard disks are now avaible, XP pad works GREAT. Love it.
My Boy! - GBA - i look for good oportunity for oid version and I found even better. Works in full 60fps. Fast, lots of option to set, qucik save/load, light sensor. Just awesome. One of my favourite.
SNES 9x EX+ - SNES (Super Famicon) - SNES is my favourite game system. But this emulator is lot worse then snesoid (but snesoid is laggy in ICS). I cannot find anything better... Only one quick save/load slot. Some games works laggy (for example - Pinball Fantasies).
MD.Emu - Megadrive(Genesis) - Just like SNES 9x EX+ - it's not best. But SEGA CD games works. Only one quick save/load option, some games are laggy (for example Virtua Fighter 2). But better then laggy Gensoid.
NES.emu - NES - as above. One quick save/load. But it works in full speed without any lags, and all games works.
GBC.emu - GBC - I'm still looking for good GB/GBC emulator. This is good but not great. I'm still looks for a emulator that will play games from GB like in GBC (colors - not stupid filters).
FPSE - PSX - BEST psx emulator of all time. Fast, almost all games just works as oryginal, qucik save/load works great, lots of options (to make game works in 50 fps). I love it - and I will never change it .
Mupen64+ - N64 - I thought that N64oid will be best. But on ICS N64id "O"button open menu !!! Shame. Mupen64 works good, good games compatybility but it's works slower then N64oid...
I like DroidEmu the most. It's have many emulator inside it, easy setting and cheats, but PS emulator is separated.
Yeah - Droidemu is good. But on XP is unplayable - no button for options and for close emulator (only home button for get back to Home screen).

ePSXe have a good potencial - but it has less options, and for me - works little bit slower then FPSE.And besides I like options in FPSE (I know all prons and cons for all values).

Yeah. I really need to install this emulator. I playd a lot on it on Nokia N-Gage, E90 and Samsung Omnia. I never try it on Android device. Thank You for reminder!
Jrioni arcade and mupen64 are great emus for me!!
I have to completely agree with My Boy!. After using GBAoid for awhile, I had believed it was great until I tried to play one of my favorites, Mega Man Zero series. At first I thought it was just in my head when I noticed the millisecond lags in the game (when rushing in attempt to score A or S). However, when I tried the same file on My Boy!, there was just no competition. :good:
TheVicious, I noticed you had stated "light sensor" for My Boy!, are you saying that it works with Boktai as well? If it does I am set.
I read somewhere that it works. But I cannot manage to turn it on (mayby is that because I have wrong rom file). But sensors works with Wario Twisted (gyro sensor) and rumble pack. I will try make a solar sensor to work (for now works only L trigger+ d-pad). When get something I will write here.

In the extremely rare instance that I do pick yester-decade's games over more refined newer creations, the .emus by Robert Broglia are the best of the best.
The -oids are more popular for being free and having time under their belt, but the .emus are far superior in every regard.

Wario ware doesnt seem to pick up my sensors, its telling me "my device doesnt have gyrosensors" so i have to use right and left.. no fun :/
ppsspp is pretty much the only emulator I use on my xperia play ahah

It works . Just use in options - use sensor as left/right. And yhen it works!

Love the PCEngine emu, play Ginga Fukei Densetsu Sapphire atm, really great shmup!
For me, after trying a lot of emus i m using :
-Retroarch for gb, pce, megadrive, megacd, fds, arcade/neogeo
-Epsxe for ps1
-Supergnes for snes
-Jnes for nes
-afba for cps3
-N64oid for n64
-Myboy for game boy advance
These are for me the best for gamespeed fidelity and graphics, interface.

Tiger Arcade has free save states since 4.0 dude...
I use JNES, Myboy and PSXperia.
It is fully xperia play supported with both controller support and it shows in the launcher. very beautiful game. http://www.fallentreegames.com/quellmemento/ not out on the play store yet...but i got the apk and when its out on the play store you guys wont be disappointed.

This game has released on Google Play now, fully XPlay optimized, fully Google Plus integrated. This game is truly amazing. Buy this if you like puzzle games. Visuals & music are really good.
Edit: When I exit the game, I get a message saying the game has force closed. Not a big issue. But seems the game requires a lot of processing juice.

The new FREE version of Asphalt 8 in the PLAY store are unavailable for our Xperia PLAY devices, right?
But did you know that, in the Gameloft's WAP SHOP we can download it? its the free newest version of the game, and seems optimized, since the downloaded APK title is "Asphalt_8_Free_GLShop_Sony_Ericsson_Xperia_Play_android.apk" :victory:, i'm downloading the data through wifi right now, after this i'll test and see if works :laugh:
The game for wapshop version is 1.1.1 and i already have it long ago and test it.
The game still have some of big/small lag and if you want to enter the Tokyo track, you will definetly force close.
as expected, the game is running like ****, terrible lag, what is the ****ing problem with asphalt 8? PLAY don't have enough RAM? Don't have processing power? or it's a lack of optimization?
The plays hardware is severely ancient by today's standards. I finally moved to a Nexus 5. I hated leaving the play. But it was time. The only games still being released with XP support are Kemco's JRPG games.

It definitely works on xperia play. It even has various control profiles like "xperia play a" "xperia play b" and so on. I have played it for 1 week and it goes pretty well. It forcecloses in Tokio track cause it has an excessively decorated environment. I managed to play in tokio with turbo script and swap partition and it goes well for the first seconds, and after that it lags as hell. Looks amazing but it's a really innecesary eye candy excess for a racing game in which you only focus on driving, not on the beautiful buildings around you...
Aside from that, it takes some time to load and some animations go laggy, but others are surprisingly smooth... And the important part is that races themselves are smooth too
I'm on hyper gamer 1.2 rom with lupus ICS beta kernel, 1.6 oc and swapper2 with swappiness set to 100. I prefer not to activate turbo script for this game though.
PD: I haven't tried this game on my Xperia play because of people saying it just fc and that sh*t. Don't get convinced by everything that people say. If you can, always try things yourself and you could be awarded with a great surprise

Asphalt 8 is now available for the Xplay in google play and is optimized
It's version 1.2.1b which has a little more improved graphics than 1.1.0 that was available on gameloft's wapshop. Also it has better multiplayer and more cars like Lamborghini gallardo, an old known but good to see again
If you login to facebook the game will retrieve your saved game you had on the wapshop version, so you can easily make the upgrade without losing your progress. Also it installs as a different app (doesn't replace 1.1.0 and doesn't recognize data files from it either so you'll have to free some space before installing)

Try enter gameloft.com from pc browser n download asphalt 8 from there.
but the game still not very compatible. if u have windows 8 u can download it free from windows shop :laugh:

For Windows only for 8 and Phone. :good:
I have try to create Swap partition n using Swapper 2.
After that enable Gaming mode using Xbooster.
And then using GLTools on Asphalt 8.
I give 8/10 for this, playable and sometimes have a tiny/big lag.
