Hi !
I'm so sorry for my bad english i'm french
i have a question for expert of modification android
I have a china phone and i have add a camera.apk in this and it's good but i would like to add Multi-lens ( in .apk ) From galaxy S4 in my phone but i don't found this and i search too the .apk for Multi-Windows samsung .
It's possible to change the " task menu " for a Samsung S3 ?
Thanks All for futur answer
Up please
You will be hard pressed to add this as this feature is hard coded into the system and it is closed sourced. Multi window is not just an APK it is system files and extra drivers that you would have to build for your device. Not to mention China phones (mostly) Come with hacked together unofficial versions of and droid.

Hello all,
I recently became a U8800 owner and I decided to flash it with the latest MIUI ROM, only to find out that their stock Android keyboard does not yet support text prediction in Greek or Greek keyboard at all. Since I didn't want to install a third-party Greek IME from the market, I decided to inject a Greek dictionary found in a previous CM Release plus a Greek keyboard supporting existing LatinIME.apk (from htc devs on a stock 2.3.5 keyboard apk).
It should work on all devices/ROMs, but you can try and share your results.
I also removed all other dictionaries exept english / greek to make it light.
How to install:
1. Navigate to /system/app using Root Explorer and copy/rename your existing LatinIME.apk to a backup folder in your SD card (just to be sure, should things go wrong).
2. Use Root Explorer to mount /system/app as R/W and then paste the new LatinIME.apk inside this folder. Change the file's permissions to rw-r--r-- after pasting.
3. Reboot your device and go to Settings > Language & Keyboard > Android Keyboard > Input Languages. Under Greek, it should now say "Dictionary available".

Thanks
Nice to hear that it works ok.
It works also 100% on my Ideos x5
please reup to somewhere else! will test it on x10 2.3.4 with android keyboard running donut hd rom
Hi ! It's a good news, since I'm seeking how to do the same for the French language since a ROM i flashed my Wildfire S with doesn't support spell check or prediction for it.
Yet, I'm fairly new to the modding scene (my previous phone was a an LG oldie...) and don't know how all of this works, so could you please elaborate ?
Do you mean I should try and retrieve HTC_IME.apk (I'm guessing it's the equivalent of LATIN_IME.apk, but for HTC...) from the stock 2.3.5 ROM and replace the current crappy one with it ? Are the dictionaries contained in the apk ? If not, where will I find the French dictionary ?
Thanks for reading me, I hope you can help.
I would gladly click the "thank you" button for your OP, but I can't seem to see it...
So here goes the old-fashioned way : Thanks !

Yeah I stumbled upon this same folder en.us in usr/ and it's purely useless (in regard of our problem) as far as I can tell...
But I found a way to get it back and working. It's basically the same procedure, but for HTC. I just posted it, I hope it'll help others as well :

Thanks our Guru, we have now ability to use non-subscribed apps ported on Windows RT. But there is one little moment - all Guru use for porting english version of apps only
I want to ask them - please, don't forget about other world and languages :fingers-crossed: please, be able to use multilingual version of apps to port, so we have chance to choose language in application options

TTS is text-to-speach only. NOT any menu texts. I'm not sure about if its stored in the same place when using different android version. Which android version is your clone running?
What mean the Chinese are not French: LoL ?

Not the hardware but at least the android version number is a clone. Is it a real TouchWiz clone with Samsung apps + features?
I think it's not a real touchwizz but a clone

Hi
My mom has a new Samsung Galaxy S5 phone bought from Amazon. It came unlocked with the ATT ROM.
The problem is that it comes with a handful of languages none of which is Russian which is what she needs.
So now i am trying to add Russian as an additional system language.
There are a number of apps that claim to do that - MoreLocale2, MoreLangs and Locale & Language to name a few.
For non-rooted phones all require to grant them CHANGE_CONFIGURATION permission through adb.
All also work in the same partial way - some of the menus change to Russian but most don't.
At this point i started considering installing another stock ROM that natively supports more languages but since i never did it, i'm afraid to try that without being sure how to find the correct ROM and that this is indeed the correct step. Needless to say, my mother will not do anything to update the OS so i want something that supports automatic updates.
So my questions are:
1. Is it possible to add another system language in the existing ROM? so it will truly replace everything. If so - what is it?
2. If not - what (extremely preferable stock) ROM should I install?
Thanks a lot for your help!
Phone details:
Device model: SAMSUNG-SM-900A
Android: 5.0
Baseband: G900AUCU4BOF3
Kernel: 3.4.0-4432708
Build Number: LRX21T.G900AUCU4BOF3
There are also more details re "SE for Android", MDF and KNOX versions
I can post them if they are needed

their solution is simply uninstall the updates and restore the component to the factory version for Android System WebView aka WebView using developer options, but on my Note 9 the webview is deactivated.
Webview-Implementation:
Active: Chrome 89.0.4389.90
Disabled for user: Android System Webview

Hello everyone
I am a little desperate and need your help ...
For some time now I have been getting an entry (see attached pictures) on my Note 9 (not rooted) under Settings / Device maintenance / Storage / Cleanup ... that scares me a little.
I had the Chinese characters translated. Its meaning is probably "System Enhancer".
The software model name might be "Tasker" (but they are not sure).
I searched the internet for information but found nothing.
The Note 9 runs with Android 8.1.0, Samsung Experience Version is 9.5 and Knox is 3.2.
It would be great if someone could help me.
Greetings mtc
