Im following the official sony instructions on how to unlock the bootloader at unlockbootloader. sonymobile. com/instructions and im stuck at point 13.
When i point the windows driver installer to the android_winuusb.inf file in usb_driver it says "The specified location does not contain information about your hardware" and i cant install those drivers.
try installing the fastboot drivers from flashtool

i have tried to unlock boot loader of my tipo dual and follow the instruction as official site of sony , i have download andriod sdk of about 405mb and install it now there is no Google folder inside extra to put the script i found on the site , as i open sdk there are lots of option i dont know whom to tick and download. and unlock boot loader . please help am a noob in xperia field :crying:
you have to download google usb drivers from sdk...then there will be a google folder inside sdk...

i already read guide restore your xperia ray, but cant post there, cuz im new, and aparrently my problem is with the bootloader, i try to unlocked with this method which is, entering in fast mode and in a command line enter this>fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce getvar version
fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce oem unlock 0x456351CC649E8C64 --code from sony to unlock bootloader
1.- Is there any difference between the method below, and the one with test pointer?
2.- Im saying the problem is the bootloader cuz i cant pass the logo of sony or sony ericsson depending in the rom i flash, and i already flash al the stock roms for xperia ray, but nothing change. im using flashtool to reflash every rom (.tft file).
3.- I already try pc companion and detect the phone, "restore or repair" the phone, and when i turn it on, appears the logo and thats all.
Using SEUS same, or SUS neither.
by the way, every time i reflash to any stock rom for xperia ray with flashtools, in VER=R409 , according to the guide capital R means not unlock, but it suppose to be unlocked now.
CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME?????
I have even tried flashing kernel through command prompt but it is stuck at 'sending boot'

all drivers installed , device rooted and 100% bootloader unlocked

Same problem with my Windows 7 x64 and Xperia Arc. In with Flashtool and SDK fastboot. It just stays forever on "flashing selected kernel". Has anybody found a solution yet?
I have xperia ray and i want to unlock bootlocker to install different rom in it like cm10. I use flashtools to do it but when i go into fastboot mode , usb not recognize error comes. I have windows 8 and i also tried on windows vista same error is coming. Please tell me how can i remove usb not recognize error and detect in fastboot mode. I installed adb drivers + android sdk but not working. Tell me step by step guide
I have installed Flashtool v9.23.1. I tried to unlock my phone (Sony Xperia E3 D2202) bootloader but i get an error saying there are no drivers. I tried to install them from the flashtool folders but there are multiple drivers.
I think the Common Drivers JDM-Platform is the correct one. But when I try to Install it it shows failed to install. How can i unlock my bootloader without using the Android SDK method. Pls Help!!
