If its a stock bug, I dont think much can be done. RMA it to Asus, or call their technical support to see their opinion.

How to run ROMs for the TF300T on the TF300TG

Hi is it just a matter of editing the build.prop in the ROM before flashing or do I just need to exchange the recovery.
Might be interesting as people are still waiting for ROMs for the TF300TG I know 3G won't work in this case...

keep in mind that if you flash stock jb or derived (like hydro jb) you cant go back so be really, really sure that you dont need that 3g
was only thinking of CM10 and derivates
I used Hydro 4.4 and CM9 (and CM10), all for TF300T, on my TF300TG.
Just flashed via recovery in the usual way.
Everything works except the 3G, obviously.
I did so as well, BUT they latest recovery is now correctly set to TF300TG and not TF300T - as there is a "model check" within the installation process you need to find a way to get it working on the TF300TG.
Nobody realized this problem before??

With TWRP yes, with CWM no.
Hi you mean installing CWM solves this problem already or is it that there is non specific for the TF300TG instead of just TF300T (so they don't differentiate??)

When i try to flash Hydro 4.4 3G, TWRP blocked me for mismatch.
CWM doesn't.
Sorry for my bad english.

WiFi really really slow?

I need to be right up against my router in order to get my download more than 70kb/s. My phone works fine and its a few years old so I am assuming its the device.
I am on a unmodified, locked boot loader and unrooted device although I have been rooted before.
Anybody have any thoughts on why or how I could fix it?

Yes I have even tried to do a factory reset. My tablet was previously sent in for repair due to a screen issue. I'm not sure if Asus tried to do anything, but the issue still persisted after I got my tablet back.

Try it on another network. If the problem persists it is most likely a hardware problem with the tablet.

Ill give it a shot, but I don't think I'll send it into Asus again. I'll just live with it. Thanks.

From the video it says that the N5 was out of box, did he get to the update screen?
And since he factory reset, does that not mean he just wiped the stock image?
I'm not too sure but I think reflash would do the trick.
Goodluck
Same problem

Its bricked out of the box or you too?
What all you did with the phone?
Weird!
It's not bricked if it turns on. A brick is a deadweight.
Flash stock images and you should be set.

Un-intentional brick??

Hello there!
I have a really serious problem with my TF300T. I had the newest bootloader installed with 4.4 enabled TWRP recovery. I had the 2014.01.07. CM 11 nightly installed and was running fine. I have seen, that there are some never releases so decided to update. I downloaded the newest nightly yesterday and pressed power button. Selected reboot and then selected Recovery.
And here comes the problem!
The tablet bricked himself! It did restart but got into a bootloop I cannot get through the Asus splashscreen. I tried POWER+VOLD DOWN, I cannot get into fastboot or recovery. The tablet keep rebooting, no boot to android either. I tried power off, no success. I tried the reset button. I removed battery, still the same.
As I have never done anything to the bootloader, I did not consider making NVFLASH backup, as it is a risky operation. Shame on me...
How could it happen????? Does cyanogenmod alter Bootloader partition to reboot into recovery??? What the hell??
Please help me somehow! I dont know what to do, I tried all I could! Maybe APX? or only Asus RMA??
yours,

In theory, yes. But many people consider it easier to RMA it.

Hi GreekDragon thanks for response. The thing is that there is a fault to the reset button
I think the reset button had a small cap switch on it and now broken. I am trying to connect both contacts now.
Where can I find the updated firmware.? I have the 4.2.2.
Thanks
