Hi Ihave insertcoin 5.2.0 installed. I have a problem when using either Strava or Sports Tracker my clock loses time. I have searched for similar problems but to no avail, hope someone can help me. This also happened when I was using earlier version of insertcoin rom.:crying:
Hey you could try this app below to keep your time up to date, it changes the system clock based on current time.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.org.amip.ClockSync&hl=en
Hi thanks for your link have installed it. I am still having the same problem did a workout today using Sportstracker for 1 hour and the clock lost 10 mins. I am now at a loss of what to do.
May be is to go back to original setting before I installed insertcoin and see what happens then.
Once again thanks for your help.

Hi All,
Having a strange issue with my Sensation wheras the WiFi is switching itself on at night.
Normally I will switch it off using the 'power bar' when I go to bed and then switch it back on when I wake up but since the Twitter update (on Orange which seems to have updated my market as well) it comes on by itself. If I turn it off again it stays off.
I know that both nights the phone has been about 7% battery and is in power save mode but this doesn't switch the WiFi off, just the sync. I then press the WiFi off and plug it into the mains.
Any ideas on why this is happeneing and if it is a known bug? Also if there is a way to fix it?
Thanks
Darren
Details??
Is your phone S-OFF?? rooted? If so, which ROM are you using? Please post all the details.
I had this bug twice with ICS, ma battery starts screaming at 21% while it was 80% just 2 hours before,it was wifi that was ON by itself

Hi,
I have the same problem. In my case, I am using ICS4.0.3 on my Telstra HTC Velocity (rooted but stock ROM ).
I think it might be Juice Defender , but I'll confirm that in couple of days time.
I have used it once, and uninstalled it, but I think it might have left behind the settings (network scheduled to be turned on at night to sync).
I installed it again, and by default that option was turned on. I have now turned it off and uninstalled it again.
I shall let you know the outcome soon
i have this issue on my previous ARHD 6.6.0
i tried to flash with different kernel,it wont fix
all i do is flashed to New leedroid 7.3.0 the issue gone.
So i assume is ROM problem.not quite sure about this.
I think it was a problem with a specific base that was used (either in the stock or making the rom),
I had it on IC5.2 I think, but then updated my rom and it went away, it presented itself on all the roms that used that base (I believe) it should be gone now with the updated base that was released. Not sure of the specifics and version numbers, maybe a dev can provide if needed, but the updates shouldn't have that issue anymore
Hi everyone,
I guess I. Have discovered a bug.
First I fought it is a bug on insertion 5.4.1 then I have full wiped and flashed ARHD 6.5.1. When I'm associated to wireless and leave my phone in standby the clock is getting out of sync. I've tried several tests to reproduce the out of sync. Im using Leedroid tweaks v4 lite with ultrasmooth Rosie applied. But it has nothing to do with rosie either. I can reproduce the problem on stock rosie too. On mobile data the problem does not happen only on wifi. It is happening on both roms so maybe it is a bug in the base? You need to leave your phone to sleep for a few minutes and unlock and check the clock accuracy. If the screen stays on and you are using it, it will not happen.
Firmware 3.32
Can someone test and confirm this please?
You mean when you come out of standby, and the clock flips? That's a "feature" of Sense. It's to show that its pretty.

No my friend, I mean the system time/clock is not accurate anymore it is behind the actual time. Not that simple
Make a screenshot please
It's probably a bug in the new base. I've noticed my time falling behind and I have mobile data always on.
I ended up syncing time with network once, then unchecking the network sync to let the internal clock handle the timing. Lame workaround, but it's all I could think of for now.
Current setup is InsertCoin 5.1.1, 3.32 firmware, manually desensed, newest radio and RIL, tmous network.
/edit
No LeeDroid tweaks or Rosie mods here. Well, no Rosie period haha.

How can I show you this problem with a screen shot lol You wouldn't be able to know that the clock/time is out of sync. If I will have time I will post a video there you could see it.
Did you tried to reproduce this on your phone?
Regards...

Hi rawrfische,
I've used that workaround earlier too, thxs for sharing anyway.
I just wanted to let others know about this problem, maybe dev's and/or HTC (which is watching this forums like any other vendor) can make a fix out of it.
A Question on your edit; did you mean you were using Leedroid tweaks as well and get rid of it and the issue was gone? Or did you mean that in your opinion this has nothing to do with it?
Thanks again..
Update on issue;
This is not happening on all wireless network. I'm using a cable connection at home and somehow it is related to this type of Modem.
Another workarround is to change the wireless sleep profile to "When scrren off" so the clock will sync to the correct time when the device is in sleep as it will be disconnected from wifi. Maybe this will help others with this kind of strange behavior on some sort of Wi-Fi Modems.
I've been having the same problem, the total offset for a day can get as high as 10 minutes!!!!
Same problem o Darkforest and Leedroid ROM's, now I've installed an app called ClockSync an set to sync every hour, the average offset per hour is 20secs.
Actually this thing is very annoying, hope it gets fixed on new releases.
Hey @ all,
i have an strange problems since some days:
My Clock goes 10 minutes back in time ... i correct the clock, after some hours it again wrong!?
Anyone also having this problem?
First i had this problem on Sense 4, now i tested different roms - all have the same error.
Yesterday i flashed IC 5.5.0 (Sense 3.6), now i have again the problem that the clock is 10 minutes in the past
All automatic settings are disabled -> so it cant be an error with network time!? Or is there any other option?
I hope someone can help me!
Does it do that using auto/network time?
That's weird, like my dog farting on my arm right now........
My old device did that all the time, it would drive me crazy! Unfortunately I never found a fix for it. I would have to keep setting the clock. I also never found out the cause. I'm sorry I wish I could be of more help. At least you know it does happen sometimes. Hopefully someone will have a fix. I would try re flashing and do a full wipe. To see if that takes care of the problem. Do a backup of your apps so you can restore easily. This is what I would try. My last device was stock so I could not try re flashing and my issue continued until I upgraded to a new device. It wouldn't hurt to try! best of luck.
Sent from my Sensation using xda premium
Like i said, i tested some roms - sense 4 and also sense 3.6 - every try with full wipe.
I taked with the HTC Support - they called me that its an issue with the internal "clock-generator" - so it must go to repair
Hi,
I'm having a problem with Google's location service. If it is turned on and an app uses it, my phone reboots after some seconds. Turning it off and using GPS satellites only solves the problem. Although, it seems for the weather widget to work it has to be enabled... :/
I am currently running Android Revolution HD 6.7.2 (latest) with faux kernel, also tried wiping and reflashing it using a different kernel. I can't really tell when this started, some day it just kept rebooting every time I took a picture (geo-tag enabled).
Does anyone know what this could be caused by?
Thanks in advance.
earlier maps update had these issues and a fix was released ..did you updated the maps to the latest (which has fix )?
Hey guys,
I'm living in Chile, and recently the timezone change to summer time, which means that it came from a -5h to -4h (comparing to GMT)
The problem is the phone didn't recognize this automatically.. so I went to settings and unselect automatically and change the time manually by adding another hour. Now the weather widget and the clock show the time properly.
The thing is when i receive any message in whatsapp or SMS, mail, etc, the time shows as 1 hour before... whenever i send something it shows the proper hour... this is really annoying.
I don't if maybe you guys encounter this issue before, and have a possible solutions to this!
Thanks, and take care!
