Help to install Simplistic Control app - Android Apps and Games

I was trying to install the Simplistic Control app but I don't know how to flash the framework zip. I tried via recovery mode. Just selected "apply update from external storage", select the zip files but got the following error:
"E: Signature verification failed"
What's going on?
Thanks in advance!

Samsung Galaxy S WIFI 5.0

Hi Everyone, i'm new to XDA so I'm not to to slick with the website and how to do things so please bare with me.
I've got a Samsung Galaxy S WIFI 5.0 (YP-G70) running android 2.2 and I would really like 2.3.
When I plug my galaxy into Samsung Kies it tells me that i'm up to date with my OS.
Yet i've heard that there is a 2.3 official update for my device in some contries.
Can you tell me how to upgrade my Galaxy to 2.3 without having to go down the un-official root or having to install a new ROM. My device is rooted but dosn't have CWM. If you could get me CWM i would be happy to install a ICS ROM but only if CWM is provided. Thanks
You can go to market to download rom manager to install cwm recovery. I have just install that.

I Have ROM Manager and when I try to get CWM it displays a list of devices and mine isn't in the list so I chose the Samsung Galaxy S and it said it was successfully installed but when I boot into recovery CWM still doesn't come up
It is a bit more complicated than that. You need custom kernel to get CWM. You can check them out here in the Galaxy Player Forum.

[Q] Want CWM root update while jellybean is already installed on the tab

I already updated my galaxy tab 2 GT-P3100 to jellybean update(leaked and got from XDA-developers.com ) but now I am thinking to update CWM update to this device and want to extend ROM and root the device....
I got a CWM update by Odin and many other options from the net and XDA-developers But That was old and was a CWM update for ICS 4.0.3/4 ...But I already updated it to JellyBean 4.1.1 so I think that old update will not work...
So please anyone help me to do this Update... If anybody have any information about CWM update for root the device Galaxy GT-P3100 and on 4.1.1 JellyBean OS then inform me...
Thank You..

Error when updating samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1 to jelly bean

Hello xda-developers!
Well here is my situation. I just got my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 about 1 week ago (Southern California, USA) and the first thing I did was root the device so that I could enable all features and do things like install linux/busybox.
Okay so just the other day i was looking at my notifications and it said that there was a software update. I figured that this was probably samsung's official jelly bean and i was excited to update so I downloaded the software it was around 330MB's. After the download it asked me if i wanted to install now or install later and i choose now and afterwards the device rebooted and it booted into CMW-Recovery and i got this error.
E:failed to verify whole-file signature
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted.
Now i heard that i am getting this error because this "software update" is not "officially" signed by Samsung. I don't know if that is true or not...
So i have a couple of questions...
One, is this update for jelly bean?
Two, how can i go about updating to jelly bean?
Three. is my rooted status blocking this update?
Four, is it possible to root the device after the jelly bean update?
If anyone can assist me with this error that I am getting I would really really appreciate it. I am not sure where to go from here.
I thank you all for your time and assistance.

which option do you guys/gals think is better?
Okay so i have been doing a bit of research on this forum and what I have learned is that since I rooted my galaxy tab 2 10.1 which is running Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0.4 ICS) that I can not update Samsung's official jelly bean update.
Is this true?
If it is true...it seems I have a few options.
One of the options that I have is that I can install a custom Jelly Bean Rom using Clock Work Mod Recovery or Samsung Kies. However, I am not sure which rom to use, and I have heard that using a custom rom you can run into issues when upgrading the Samsung Galaxy tab 2 10.1 to Jelly Bean, one of the issues being that "sound" will not work. Is this true?
Okay second thing that I am wondering is do you think if i booted into Clock Work Mod Recovery and choose the option to restore my galaxy tab
to stock firmware (a factory reset) then could i use the software update option to upgrade to Samsung's official Jelly Bean update and then root it after my tablet has been updated to Jelly Bean?
Which option do you think would be better?
Also can anyone possibly provide a tutorial on how to upgrade jelly bean with the samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1 model GT-P5113 so that I can take
a look, I am not sure how to update it.
I would love to find a tutorial for using either CWM or Samsung Kies.
I thank you all for your time and help...

Well after careful consideration i decided that my best option was to download Android Jelly Bean version 4.2.1 from Cyanogenmod nightly builds and i was able to flash the custom JB rom and flash Google apps. I decided to go this route so that I could get the excellent Jelly Bean update and I also get to keep my tablet rooted and not have to root it all over again.
Here is an excellent guide on how to install the Jelly Bean update version 4.2.1
http://teamhacksung.org/wiki/index.php/CyanogenMod10.1:GT-P5110:How_to_install
It was quite easy to install and I have been using JB for about 1 day now and I don't have any complaints. The nightly build is working quite well for me...
That tutorial says its for the samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1 GT-p5110 but i have the model GT-P5113 and it the install guide still worked without any issues.
If anyone has any questions about updating to this version of Jelly Bean or needs any help with the installation process i would be more than happy to help out...
Thanks to all who responded...

Hi,
If you have the apk file, just transfer it to your phone and install it.
You will need to enable the option to "allow installation from unknown sources", it will be somewhere in your settings under Security or Applications.
You can also find and download the latest versions of Sony stock apps like Walkman, Album, etc if you search for them online.
