[GAME]Pizza Snake - inspired by a DOS classic (pizza worm).

UPDATE 03 July 2014
I've rewritten the whole game, it's MUCH better now:
- ALL LEVELS ARE NOW PLAYABLE
- it's faster, more fun
- I've added leaderboards and achievements
- the start screen and Level Select menus are much more beautiful
- If your phone has a gyro sensor, the parallax effect on the start screen and level select will look fantastic. (really proud of this one)

Hi everyone, I made a game - Pizza Snake - and it would be awesome to hear some feedback.
It's inspired by a very cool MS-DOS game called Pizza Worm, made by Sami "Zorlim" Lehtinen. Some of you may have played it when young.

The game is free but it doesn't have all the levels that are on the youtube trailer yet. That is because this is my first game, first android application and I don't know how any of this works so I'm in total experimentation mode.
update: There is now also a full version of the game.
I'm very nervous right now as I hope the game is working correctly everywhere and I hope people will have fun.

How about you make an old 8bit version with the rotational controls like in your video?

Thanks, I haven't thought about it, and I'm currently doing a website for the game, and I'ts easy for me to put the .APK for people without WiFi to download, even if it's for few people because it will take just some minutes. I'll do it.

Yeah this is one of those arcade type games (one life, one goal) that isn't very deep for some people but many people love to replay it for the score and the gameplay is fun.
Kind of like Hexagon (first a flash browser game, now on iPhone, no Android yet)

I've had people having troubles with the controls, saying it's too hard so I'm implementing an analog stick like control.
My fear is that at some points the controls (and the finger) will be over the snake and that kind of sucks.
I don't know if it will work.

Sorry for the delay, it was around 2am when I found this game, and I literally fell asleep on the couch and awoke with my PLAY in my hands..only to discover that this is NOT xperia play optimized. It has nice graphics but hardware gamepad support and nothing in options to change the controls.... bummer... this reminded me of the old school games Sam and Max, etc... sad morning and its a Monday...dang.

Why would you need a gamepad to play a point and click adventure? If it plays out like Grim Fandango maybe, but not like this.
The game is amazing by the way, I think it's criminally overlooked by gamers.

sometimes when driving straight the car will hit an invisible object and immediately goes off balance. When I reverse and go through the same place nothing happens and I drive normally

After previous update game good runs on high settings! But i don't see any shadows

One of the few major races, a lot of well-traced machines and beautiful cards. Great game in its genre, all lovers of racing online I highly recommend!

It's a really nice port! Every detail is made nice: physics, maps, multiplayer etc. It's also good that I can play with my friends together on split screen. If You want to play TrackMania on Your device - just download it for free!!!

Played it all day long!!!!!) well not all day, but on the subway on my way to and from work!!!! Awsome addictive lil game!!!!
It's kind of the snake from 3310 for androids!)
Adding features such as: highscores and compare highscores online might also b usefull and nice we so missed this feature to compare highscores online also in the old 3310 times) nobody believed you )
And another tip: if you can, please keep it clean (without ads, etc).

Edit: after playing a little,I must say,that the game improved a lot from the version 1,maybe should be a little more difficult to collect coins,for example,only get 100 coins if u reach 1000 points,just a thought

I gathered a little bit of coins, bought a Paris map and Tiny car, and I loved the combination. I really love Paris but don't really know why...(Maybe because of Eifell Tower, and a Ratatouille movie xD) The Paris map with all the rain and Tiny car kinda reminds me of scene in movie "League of extraordinary gentleman" where they hunt down the Mr. Hyde, and it is a really nice "reminder". The game itself is great! Its really challenging keeping those boxes inside vehicles back and road makes it even more difficult, so Bad Roads is a perfect name for this game Can't wait for my dad when he wakes up in the morning to play 2 players mode I am totally going to recommend this to everyone in my school about this awesome game! Tommorow I am downloading Dark Roads, going to try that too!

Thank you! I have had a lot of luck for downloads
The new one will come next month > 15 new roads > 15 new vehicles + upgrades and improved graphics
