It's sad. Not to compare the iPhone again but the same thing happened there. People started making themes for free then all of a sudden you couldn't find one that was free anymore. They would theme a few icons call it a theme and charge 2.49 for it. I was never asked to pay for a theme with an Android phone. Especially one as minimally themes as this one. Once they release the tools, if they don't already plan on charging for it, then they can't justify charging for the theme. So why release it when they can make money off people?

They will release it, they always charge for their skins. Otherwise most people don't throw in money to help the cause
Besides if one didn't want to pay one could work around that

Haha that's not the point. It's not worth a buck to me. It's a simple theme. It doesn't look like there was that much work done. I've been trying to make a theme for a week straight and can say that looking at what they themed there, it didn't take them that long. Look at the thread for the black and cyan theme from hello00s. It's incredible and free.

That makes 2 of us!! I made like 5 sick ass themes for sense 3.0 back when I had my e4g n never released them..... Time to let em shine!! But all I've themed is apks like camera etc... Where its all .png's

No freaking doubt. I've been holding off on making themes because I hate making partial themes. All the cool stuff is hidden in the m10's.

It is not showing because it's not officially compatible with our one x, you need to change the build.prop to a galaxy note

Tried Alice. It does a horrible job at recognizing what I say. Plus it doesn't know the timezone of some major cities. Really? I'll give the free version of AVX a try later.

Tell me what you can't do with AVX+tasker... wont spend a couple 20s on the most powerful app combination on android..... stay in the stone age I guess. Its a large learning curve BUT limitless.

[Q] Sense 4 Roms?

Just wondering are there any Sense 4 roms for this phone? Or would that be not possible because it is not an HTC phone?

Is there something specific in sense 4 that you're looking to port over?

I have to admit - coming in with a history of Sense-based phone, I miss quite a few things about Sense - the email program, the calendar widget, etc. If there was a Sense-based ROM, I'd be all over that.
And before you point out K9 mail, don't bother. It isn't even close to the default Sense email app.

If my memory services me right then sense is a HTC thing and you can't get sense on other phones. That's what I think it is

Yup, just look at Beautiful Widgets. They pulled their app from the Market for months after getting a Cease & Desist from HTC. This was a few years ago, but it's still applicable.

My biggest gripe is that I can't seem to find a custom ROM that has everything - stability, a good calendar widget (that works and doesn't FC my entire launcher), and the better version of the stock email app (the one with the "peak" period settings)... Sense has all of that and more. *sigh*

The have a sense rom over at the T989. Last I check we are able to run T989 roms as long as we flash the conversion package.

I LOVE Sense but I haven't had an HTC phone for about a year, this has tied me over enough.
As for the clock, I use Beautiful Widgets with a free skin to get the Sense 4 clock, the only difference is the numbers don't flip.
