for bluetooth did u happen to change your bluetooth fileswith my rom's? 'coz bluetooth and all the other bugs u mention here works in mine..
for themes: just change the lockscreen file in .mtz with any ldpi lockscreen -u may use winrar for this job simply-.. this will solve your lockscreen problem...

Bluetooth bugs are dependent on the base ROM you are using to port MIUi. If you have a Bluetooth bug in the base ROM, then your ported ROM will have it too.
Also, I tried doing that, but for a older and different version (Cooper Team) and it didn't work.
BTW, have you re sized the entire Launcher in your ROM? By that I mean the lockscreen player displaying album art properly.

it could also be kernel's fault, sometimes just changing the kernel resolves these issues..
btw i've explained it by editing my last post, u didn't read i assume

You can also select a lockscreen from a different theme simply. No need of WinRAR.

fo course but an unexperienced person can easily lock it's screen by not ticking the lockscreen
also it can be resized any lockscreen by editing manifest.xml in the lockscreen -it is infact a zip file, can be easily opened and edited by using winrar-
I already have ported miui from last 1 mnth but due to blue tooth and media scanner bug. i m not updoded to xda. Once all bug fixed i will uploaded

Not for this MIUI as such, but there are loads that work on every MIUI.
BTW, what happened to your JoyOS port? I thought you told us you were porting it and would upload soon? >.>

The browser bug:
The browser is the default MIUi GB browser. Since MIUi has no official support for LDPI devices for GB, the browser has been resized to fit our needs. But pages can be viewed only in the middle portion of the screen. That is to say that there are two huge blocks below the tab bar and above the bottom bar.
Fixes: Use the browser from White's CM7 base ROM until I decompile the APK and fix the problem.
Woozy graphics:
This is not the developers fault, as such, because, as I mentioned earlier, there are no official MIUi GB builds for LDPI devices. All existing ROMs are unofficial biulds, and Xiaomi have stated that they won't support them. Since most of these were ported from MDPI devices, the icons are hazy and blurry and a few of the resized elements are not that pleasing to look at.
Fixes: No fixes as of now, because we cannot compile MIUi from source (because MIUi is closed sourced). The only way would be to use the theme from the original port by Amal Das on this forum, as there are not that many blurry icons on that.
No screenshot in the power off dialogue:
Well, the bug is exactly what it states it is. The option to take screenshots by pressing the power button and choosing "Screenshot" has been removed from the original MIUi ROMs.
Fixes: No fixes until White adds a shortcut in his CM7 build that allows us to take screenshots. Or if one of us decompile android.policy.jar and framework-res.apk and add an intent and method that adds a Screenshot entry into the Power Off dialogue menu. I might take a look into that, but I'm not promising anything. Temporarily, you can use a screenshot from the Play Store.
WiFi Hotspot:
WiFi Hotspot works, but I was unable to browse anything when I connected with my iPhone. Will try later with my brother's BlackBerry or the old 5800...
Fixes: No fixes as of such, unless White implements this in his WiFi driver. For those of you who want to use Tethering (both USB and WiFI) should stick to the TouchWiz based ROMs in this device forum.
Internal Storage:
Unlike other CM7 based ROMs, this MIUi build is actually taking up a lot of internal space. My build of the older version, the one by Amal Das and Hacker is actually easier on internal storage.
Fixes: No fixes, because you have to sacrifice on space if you want this version of MIUi (which is the latest one). The HTC Calibrate app can be removed though, because no one uses it and is pretty useless sitting on the homescreen.
My Notes:
This ROM is stable enough to be used as a daily ROM, and unlike other ROMs based on White's CM7, flickering is the bare minimum. Actually, in my last 11 hours of usage, I have only encountered the flickering bug 2 times! This must have something to do with MIUi's framework, because it was the same on Amal Das', Hacker's and my build too.
Also, MIUi is the only CM7 based ROM for the Galaxy Y that doesn't need restarting after a few hours of usage. Both the Animus and the base CM7 by White start lagging after a couple of hours of usage (or if you rotate the screen a lot). That is minimal (not saying that it isn't eliminated completely ) in this ROM.
If you have applied a theme that has a MDPI+ lockscreen, you can unlock by holding the back key and volume up. :good:
Awesome job, duduaxe! :good: Seems like you are better than me at browsing the XDA Forums to find the latest version of MIUi.
Now, all is left is to fix the bugs on the base ROM, and this ROM will rule the Galaxy Y!

Of course dhiru is a great developer maybe the best in fixing bugs! But for a rom to be daily usable you need more than "only" a bugfree one. That´s the point where "Project INFINITUM - Keep it simple" comes in. CM9 should not only be used by us android geeks ;-) Downloads in the third post!

1.I found it a bit laggy then the original cm9 by dhiru
2.Beatuiful theme.
3.Better Sound Quality but could have been better if there would have been dsp manager.
4.battery life is a bit better than cm9.
5.did not boot the first couple times after flashing.
6.games were running smooth...

We want actual bug fixes like h/w decoding, fully functioning camera, new kernel 3.0 etc which is most imp in intial development stage. Theming, color changes, status bar change, bootanimation etc all these things can be achieved later easily.
I am not discouraging ur work. I am suggesting that it will be more better if u work on bug fixes

No i don´t think so There are many people that want ICS on their devices even without working camera and for those this rom should be more suitable for them.
I´m working with another guy on that kernel thing it was just the first .zip we created so that the guys crying "where´s fuss" now know where I am ;D I can now try to fix those bugs, toom but as you know its really difficult especially camera and i don´t know if i can do it. Even codehawxs didn´t fixed it.
BTW, i noticed my Chrome is FC ^^ Anybody confirm or is just my dev enviorement causing?

No offence you put together the ROM.
It is really VERY VERY kind of you to do that and I respect your time and work.
I am not telling you this is totally wrong or anything.
I just wanted to convey that rather than having...like..many threads with the same Bugs..Have less threads with No Bugs
I am NOT AT ALL against doing Many variants of CM.
But, The End-User may need the bugs fixed rather than tweaks and speeds and themes

Required things...
Required Firmware - Use 3.32.401.x & 3.32.401.10x
4EXT recovery is a plus to use but not a must have.
Make sure you have correct DisH for the AOKP rom because this is controlled by the build.prop. It is set to use Dish3 right now. Please see HERE for more details on DisH files.
Install Instructions
1-Download Rom from above. Clear camera data if already running AOKP.
2-Reboot into recovery
3- FULL wipe factory reset, if coming from another AOKP a full wipe may not be necessary but HIGHLY reccomended.
4- Flash Rom-If you are doing a fresh install, DO NOT SELECT THE THEMED TALK APP IN AROMA, themed app will only work if you first had rom up and running with the orginal app first. If you want the themed one, just re-flash without wipe and select all you same options with Themed Talk app selected.
5- During aroma selections, a kernel must be selected because there is not one flashed by default!
6-Reboot into OS
7- Wait about 5 min- Don't set up or do anything yet, just let it sit and do its thing.
8- Reboot phone and once booted back into OS, set up and enjoy!
Minor bugs:
Bluetooth - ID3 Tags
Bluetooth - slow to turn on, just wait it will start
Occasional audio routing issues
Not compatible with SuperWipe.zip, suggest using 4ext recovery "Wipe all except sdcard" as an alternative, of the full wipe option that is in Aroma Installer.

Any bugs that exist on Vorbeths CM9 rom will be here, but then there are not much at all and this is a very stable everyday rom.

This looks great and I really like everything except...youtube doesn't seem to work correctly? It will play but only in portrait mode, if I turn it to landscape I just get sound but the picture becomes snow? Is this a known bug or is something wrong with my phone?

Thanks pimp we always need more aosp roms considering sense are the majority of the roms for our sensations
Netflix is doing the same thing, the sound works for me but the picture is all broken up, like the vertical gain on an old tv that is broken.
Call me picky but does this ROM fix the issue of transition animations in ICS not fading with transparency? If it does I'll use it
Saw it in most OpenSensation ROMs but was too lazy to try and debug/fix it.

Instructions: flash the zip from recovery and it will open. Choose your menu items, pick your theme. Straightforward from there, really. Just pick what you want to install. You can leave anything you don't want unchecked, if you check something by accident, there is a "do nothing" choice in every selection group.
Note!! Aroma will likely freeze in official CWM 6.xxx recovery. It will work in sk8rwitskil's 6.xxx recovery, and some features may not work in TWRP.

I will redo the aroma configuration tonight so it actually reflects the correct information and also *try* to add the cm9 boot animation and maybe a nightly 6/24 version.
And aokp 40 too.
To be honest if someone here more capable than I can do it better (and is familiar with that config) I wanted to get the idea some attention. This file was just to see if it worked.

I haven't added anything yet. Right now it is in the same state that PTSD and Jaydub had it for chimera, except it installs cm9 instead. Once I figure out what I'm doing I'll start adding stuff. I have an idea how to add more fonts, boot animations, sounds, and apps. Funny thing is, the easiest thing to change on it is which ROM it installs/modifies.

I emailed a bunch of developers months ago to add the aroma installer to their roms but never got any responses maybe this will be the push
Aroma is nice the issue being it makes packages huge making it tough to host on normal sites given upload caps so its OK for aosp but could never be done for tw based roms

it is a feature in all of the cm9 builds but none of the aokp or chamira builds. when you go to settings->storage and hit the menu button it says configure storage and you can select the internal as default. if it really is that easy you should have it modify the latest nightly

Okay so it's taken me a few hours just to get my bearings.
But I got my bearings. I have to go to sleep now though so here's what's up. I'm going through the scripts and adding what skyrocket options I can. Available modems first, and a few more boot animations. It will be a big install file but it will work with AOKP and cm9. And whenever either of those get updated, like I said earlier they'll be the easiest things to change. All I've changed so far is the ROM name and stuff, no different options yet.
What is all that code stuff called anyway, xml?

Also I can't get the red pixels working, the fix suggested by the guy that wrote the thing doesn't work.

Does the MMS fix found here work with the latest version of this ROM? I tried testing it out yesterday with some 2.7.*.* build and it took a really long time to send and then a while later I got a text from 99999999 with a whole bunch of symbols, which I heard is the cause of SMS Split not being enabled but I couldn't find the setting for that under the messenger app.

they may not install correctly (i may have forgotten to add the script)
pull them out of the zip file (/data/system/theme)
dump them into /sdcard/miui/theme
(or just put them on the sdcard and import them one at a time if you arent using root explorer)

All those edits (for sprint) are in the build.prop, and some others for multimedia fixes, wifi improvement and battery life...

OK, found themes in your zip files and moved to miui/theme. I do not see the one you have posted screens of, which one is it.?
Only thing I noticed is memory usage seems high, always in 468 to 478 in red.

According to the "OP" if you are not in 2.7.27 then first flash 2.3.23 boot up, establish internet connection, then flash 2.8.10. If on 2.7.27 then simply flash 2.8.10

What is MIUI ?
MIUI (pronounced "Me You I", a play on the common abbreviation of the words user interface as UI), developed by Xiaomi Tech, is an aftermarket firmware for cell phones based on the open-source Android operating system. Hello ! Yes I do know bro. I am uploading the ROM just making it usable to all before it is uploaded.
Its not the first time I am uploading a ROM. I am working on the ROM as we speak.
@Mods feel free to close the thread if you feel I am doing something wrong. I have the working ROM in place just fixing it .. I am aware of the rules ...
And If it is closed I will reopen when the link is up.

Laggy lockscreen. Fix
Hope you see it if not then it isn't my problem.
To fix it you need to resize framework and any apk of lockscreen IF THERE.
If you don't know how to do so i will do it just upload here.
Is there any headphone bug of not being detected?
bro there is no .apk file of a lockscreen
there are .mtz and default lockscreen is in default.mtz in system/media/theme
and im sure its not resizing problem because if u apply any other theme it works just fine..

Then resizing framework only is needed
All other themes are fine because they are mdpi compatible.
I saw it too many times that resizing framework fix laggy lockscreen so it will work if not then your hardly 5mins will get wasted but without trying you can't say that it won't work

I got a logic i guess those images are big thats why our phones processor takes time to make it mdpi and fit it to our device's screen to work if we resize it then it will take less time and lags will be fixed :fingers-crossed:

umm no ..im sure of that ..i made a lockscreen for miui and i used a lockscreen wallpaper of 480 x 854 reso and its objects were also of same reso ..and it runs verryyyy smooth
