Volume Button clicking - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

So my S3 Volume down clicking stopped making the clicking sound, the Volume up makes the clicking sound, and the button works fine all together. Any opinions on what should i do?

You could always open up the back of the phone and check if the button is lodged in there, you can pop the button out and put it back to see if that will fix the problem.

power button

hi any body can make sound when press power button like(i phone)
Mine makes a sound when I hit it really hard....
What are you looking for, a click sound? Not sure if its a hardware key that can be set to make a sound but there is a setting in sounds and Notification setings for hardware keys.
i mean when i press power button to screen off i hear a click sound
like (i phone)

Stock Headphones issue

The headphones which came with i9105p have 3 buttons - volume -/+ and one more button. If i plug headphones into jack, there is no notification, though sounds starts playing through headphones.
However only volume + button is working, i cannot reduce volume or pause music, answer, end call with other buttons. Also 'earphone' menu item is missing in 'Accesorries' section in Settings menu.
Can someone give a feedback how their stock headphones work with i9105p, so i would now if it is intended behaviour or hardware/software issue with my headphones or phone.
do u remove the bloatware before? sometimes,we accidentally remove something important. If that's not the case, maybe ur earphone are faulty, mine works perfectly, vol + -,pause,notification,all works.
Mine has not even a button work even on stock ROM (unbloated), I have yet to try out on current ROM.

No, I have a different volume bug though. When my phone is on silent or vibrate only, sometimes when I try to increase volume by pressing volume up button the volume increase overlay window appears (as expected) showing that my volume is increasing. But the silent or vibrate icon in my notification bar does not disappear, and in fact my volume has not increased at all.
This is intermittent and the only way I have found of fixing it is to reboot the phone.

Volume Rocker, Camera Button, and "Vibrate on Touch" setting all stopped working Z5P

Volume Rocker, Camera Button, and "Vibrate on Touch" setting all stopped working Z5P
I noticed while I was at work today that all 3 of these things stopped working at approximately the same time after they were all working earlier today. The volume rocker will not adjust the volume and also will not work as the zoom button when the camera app is opened. The only way for me to adjust the volume (ring, media, or alarm) is to go into the volume settings which is a major pain in the ass. The camera button will not open the camera app and also will not take pictures. When the button is pushed with the camera app open nothing happens. I was taking pictures earlier in the day and everything worked fine. Lastly I noticed that the vibration feedback on the screen stopped. I tried turning the Vibrate on Touch setting on and off but nothing, and I also restarted the phone but nothing.
Anyone else experience any of these issues?

The volume, power button, camera button and vibratation motor are attached as one module to the motherboard, it could be that the wiring broke at the volume rockers and subsequently caused the 3 parts to fail. I suggest getting it checked out

Eh not what I was hoping to hear lol. Thanks. This phone has been craptastic since day 1, I haven't had it a month. I wish I would have returned it and just ate the restocking fees.
Pretty disappointing considering how great my Xperia Z Ultra was.

Silent mode

When pressing the button down, it doesn't go to mute(silent) only have 2 options, vibrate and volume.. Everyone phone I've ever had had mute when pressing the button all the way down. Am I missing a setting somewhere?
i'm searching for the same thing... my note 4 i could hold the vol down button and it would go past vibrate and into silent/mute...
i have noticed that you can pull the drop down top and tap on the volume setting and tap thru sound, vibrate, and into silent/mute... still not the same thing tho
That's how I have been putting my phone on silent at night... Much easier Imo to just hold the volume down button. Still can't find anything unfortunately
