ClockworkMod Recovery

Hi,
Is there a way to install a ClockworkMod Recovery in galaxy fit in one of the Custom Roms now available here.

Clockworkmod recovery is not available for galaxy fit yet..nor its ported for fit yet

Clockworkmod recovery can be installed in cyanogen 7.1 for Galaxy Fit.
I just installed successfully.

Since the s5570 mini version is working on s5670, then why bother about another one special for s5670

Have you yourself tried backup and restore? ? Because it didn't worked for me when I flashed cwm with TASS.ops

I stand corrected. What I meant was that the backup and restore feature was listed under CWM list. When I tried it now , its not working.

i flashed it with the BENI_v1.0.ops instead of the TASS.ops "the tass one didn't open the recovery at all"
but after i did the wipe options there was a boot error and the phone hang on the G-Fit logo so i flashed another rom with it's recovery to remove it and then re-installed the cm7

The cwm for galaxy mini is developed for ext4 format and our fit yet does not support ext4..
Try to wipe data factory/reset from cwm...it says successfully for all but format SD card with ext4 fails....
Waiting till someone ports cwm for fit....got to live with stock recovery till then...

Wanted to add something here...
When was on galaxy mini cm7...had cwm installed...and I did try to back up my rom and was successful at doing that...I din't try 2 restore it though as din't want 2 brick my phone ;p

Thats not a portetd cwm and nor it support ext4 so dont try stuffs like darktremor a2sd..this cwm is just to flash patches to fix common mic and video bug

I think twrp 2.5.0.0 was officially declared having problem with backup and restore..
And on our community every rom is for CWM, I think it will be awesome to have touch CWM.
If you are compiling please try TWRP higher than 2.5.0.0+

As I know many other mediatek devices are using twrp 2.5.0.0 and they have no problem with it and as you know this recovery is not built from source it is just ported so I think I cannot compile twrp 2.6.0.0

Its not true, My device is booting in recovery when i select to boot in recovery an option in ROM manager app.

Soorry i can't build it for your device ! as it is based on Qualcomm 7225AA Chipset.
you can try cwm from sony xperia tipo they both has same chipset.

I had to try n found bug on new CWM.
When I choice backup nandroid.
Message :
"SD Card Space free 900 MB"
"Backing up boot image..."
"Backing up recovery image..."
"Error while backing up recovery image!"
But success if I use old CWM.
FIX IT.

You will need to edit ramdisk of ur kernel.

New CWM (update.zip) uploaded, nandroid backup has been fixed as recovery.fstab jad wrong values on recovery partition, now 100% working, srry guys
