As title. I had disabled set on boot prior doing this and set the max clock to 1.5GHz. The tablet froze almost immediately so i restarted it by holding down the power button for 10secs or so. Since then the tablet is stuck at the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus logo. I had it set to 1.4GHz stable before this. Any help is appreciated. I want to leave a factory reset as a final resort as i havent backed up my apps.

Hello,
I'm new to the community. I generally work on PC but a friend brought me this Samsung Galaxy tab 7.0 Plus that turns on but is stuck at the "Samsung Galaxy tab 7.0 Plus" splash screen when it first turns on. I have tried the" Power+Vol up" to reset to factory but it seems to go too-quickly and then I am back to square one because nothing changed. I dont know if my friend or his kids tried to do anything crazy with this so I don't have much more info.
What I am asking... I want to get this tab back to factory, or at least a working ROM. any advice is helpful but please keep in mind I have never really worked on these devices, the one thing I do know is if I jump to conclusions I can brick the device.
Thanks in advance. If more info is needed please ask.
did you try with a retore power + vol down with Odin

choose between 3.2 honeycomb or 4.0.4 ICS
I got the same problem before !!!

There is my solution
I had a very similar problem to both of you and noticed that the /data (instead of /efs) directory/partition "didn't exist" according to the boot screen when i entered the default recovery mode. i partitioned it and ran a factory reset and it finally booted.
and all just in time to pull the factory US ICS update
Hi there guys! im new here.
I have bricked my android tablet phone which is Mercury running on android 4.2.2 , model number T70611, MTK---8312 . When I turn it on, It will just stuck on logo screen, I've already tried resetting (using power on + volume up) but it will just stuck on the fastboot screen too.
I rooted it using Ministro ll, superSU and poot rooting tools, it was successfully rooted but I wasnt satisfied so I want to start all over again and root so I decided to restore factory reset. I have manually restored other apps using titanium back up. During the restore, it hung so I rebooted it and continue restoring the files, on the second time it hung again so I rebooted it again but this time, It was stuck on booting until now. If i plug the charger it works fine. Can anybody tell me if there is any chance to unbrick my tablet phone ?
Any reply would be great.
Hi, my Nexus 5 was just powered off as i clicked the power button to browse the web. I tried to boot it but it just went to multiboot and restarted after 2 seconds.
It kept restarting like it was bricked but shut off after a few times. Then i booted into bootloader but the screen went off after 2 secs. I removed the battery and put it on the charger but it just boot loops the google logo.
I am on Xtrasmooth v9.0 if you want to know but i dont think that this has any importance since my phone doesnt stay in the bootloader which has nothing to do with my rom (i think):good:
But maybe it has to do with multiboot? I have to say that my phone kept randomly restarting over the last week.

Have you tried restoring to 100% stock with a factory image?

Heya, I found out that my power button was broken so i had to remove it from the board and started the device with a screw driver :victory:
I've had my S7 since March. Worked flawlessly until around 2 weeks back. The first issue I got was that the phone stopped responding. I haven't linked that to any specific application. It happened at random. So the phone freezes and screen goes black. I used the Power button + Lower Volume button to power up the phone again and it worked. But then the no response problem happened more often. So I decided to go for a factory reset. I did this using recovery. But I continued to get the freezing issue. And the last time I got it was a few hours ago. But this time when I used the power button+ down volume button, the phone got stuck in a boot loop. I managed to bring up recovery to power down the phone. When I booted into recovery, I got the a dead android logo with a yellow exclamation mark in a triangle. I tried to power up my phone back, but it again got stuck in a boot loop. I know I can resolve this situation by doing a reset again. But I suppose this is not the solution as I will continue to get the freezing and not responding problem again.
Any advice please?
Thank you.

Hi mate
after you factory reset it , did you use the phone for a while without restoring any app?..so you are sure is not an app making the mess
My first option would be flash ( odin) firmware again.....
Check his guide
Use home_csc instead of CSC so you do not lose anything
I actually didn't restore any app after reset. I rather re-installed only 2 apps I use most. And I've been using these apps since I started using my mobile. I don't think they could be responsible for the crashes.
If I have to flash, I've been wondering if I could have a go at Nougat.
Would that be a good idea?

Hi
Yes you can flash nougat, seems to be stable......but still is a Beta version
Hi
I got the same problem ... did you find any solution for this problem ??
Replacing motherboard fixes this issue. Its not software related. Faulty board. With Nougat this will happen even more. I know because happened to me..
ohhh
how much did cost you for that ?
Hey Samsung users.
my case is a bit weird.
i bought my s8 running nougat used it for 2 days and it was all good , so i received the Oreo update and updated it using the over the air when I received connected to wifi.
my phone started to reboot randomly even for 30 times per day , i tried several things like wiping cashe and the only solution that reduced the problem was uninstalling my installed apps. basically normal apps like facebook , whatsapp , spotify ,and even stock apps like calculator and music player.
today as usual I woke up picked up my phone and it started rebooting so i uninstalled some apps but it kept rebooting.
sometimes it reboots and get stuck at GALAXAY s8 boot screen [ not samsung flickering screen ] and all i had to do to overcome the boot loop is pressing and holding volume down and power button.
but one time it got stuck and boot looped once and for all. I tried to press volume down and power button to make it reboot again and overcome the bootloop but it rebooted and got stuck at the bootloop.
I tried to access recovery but i couldn't access it.
I can access download mode only.
my phone switches on itself when it is plugged in to charge , i can't turn it off completely to charge it while off.
I reflashed stock firmware and it succeeded using odin but the bootloop is still there.
please help me with my problem.
any slight help or idea would be a life saver for me.
sincerely,
Zack.
