3- is there any notification lights when for exemple low battery? new mail?

wow! thts cool! and seems tht tab2 10.1 cant play these games !

1. Great materials, No flaws.
2. I can receive my wifi signal from up to 30 meters with few walls and 10 meters through 4 rooms.
3. None on mine.
4. Lasts a whole day of non-stop usage.
5. Install one app, press one button and you're done!
6. Nice keyboard, but I don't use it.
7. Didn't try.
8. I dunno.
9. Yes; See the Note10.1 android development forum.
10. I don't know those, but it has no problems with heavy 3D games and definitely none with casual games.
11. There exists a USB adapter, and if you root your device, you probably could even if there was no such option originally.
12. You're weeeeeeeeelcome.

I don't know but i wait the compatibility with Samsung Galaxy Tab2 10.1 ... i'm surprised because i have paid this tablet so much and in italy we have SKY(TV) where we can see Football, films, disney channel's cartoons, history channel discovery channel ecc ... but the app for mobile(to see sky on mobile and not on tv) Is compatible with ipad 1 ipad 2 Samsung galaxy tab 1 10 pollici Samsung galaxy tab 1 8.9...why for new tablet is not compatible like galaxy tab 2 10 and ipad 3 :-(
It seems like if you get the apk's for incompatible apps, they will install and work fine.
Hi everyone.
I have a Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and you can get apk from certain games and apps and it could work (for ex. Max Payne and GTA 3, but you need to download data via wifi).
But for other (mainly Gameloft's), you can install the app, download the data via WiFi, and still wont work.
If you google it, you can find a lot of issues and refund-requests because of people buying the games and apps and not getting them to work.

Ok thanks but why we who buy new things must lose?
Its not just if you have the apk. You need to change your build.prop file to emulate another device (such as galaxy nexus) see my post in this thread:

(in the q&a section)

You dont need to change the whole thing. Just those few lines. I dont actually have an entire galaxy nexus build.prop (altho google could help) but I think that would seriously mess up your tab. Just download a build.prop editor and change those few lines. If you need the stock gtab 2 7.0 one i can give you the link (hopefully)

1. I would say yes.
2. Nope.
It's a bit crazy but, I tested cyanogenmod 10 (jelly bean) and aokp roms but I hate the interface,
after that, I returned to the default rom, waiting for something better (The rom were pretty fast in
general but the interface sucks balls and I lost a lots of apps, so I returned back to the default rom)
And if you root this device or install a new rom with recovery, when you boot this thing with power on + volume up,
on the left corner, you can see if your device was "hacked" or not with the number of flashed roms.
Ignore my frenglish.

Is the android that come with it fast, or has some bugs?
Can we play some heavy games E.x Grand Theft Auto III?
Thank you for your help.
Yes its fairly fast and yes you can play games like that , it would be even faster if you used a custom ROM.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1600
For good games that will work on your tab :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1693528
You can change the look of a custom ROM by adding a custom theme easily enough , fairly large collection here :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1801752
You can also clear the binary counter ( so your device isnt showing as "hacked")
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1835594
I think its worth the money in general but its a personal choice , you could always try it out and leave it untouched , if you are not happy in general you could return it to the shop and get a refund.
What model are you thinking of buying ?

I am thinking to get SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab 2 GT-P3110 7.0 Tablet PC - 8 GB, White
I own a P-3113 and its a great little tablet , the only issues i have had are the ones i have caused , You can get a better spec tablet like the Nexus 7 but that has one major problem....NO external SD card slot. If you want to play games you need that facility as some games have as much as 1 GIG of content to download ( NOVA 3 for example),YOU CAN'T STORE YOUR GAMES ON THE SD CARD , but you can store your other media on it , such as nandroid back ups and media (pictures/ films and music)
These tablets are not top of the range but neither is the price !
You can't play all the top end games on this but you certainly do have a large selection to choose from.
If you want fast updates and the stock Android experience (as well as a quad core processor and 12 core graphics) then get the Nexus 7, but if you like the Samsung Touchwiz UI and Micro SD (and don't mind waiting a few months for Android updates), then the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is a good tablet.
I can play GTA 3 on Gtab2 7.0
Thank you for help to decide, i will the the Samsung Galaxy Tab2 10.1 inch Tablet - White (16GB, WiFi, Android 4.0) that cost £273.34 and has £50 Cashback from samsung, so will cost £223.34, hope does the same job.
Thank you.

[Q]Galaxy Tab 2 or Nexus 4?

Guys, i have a [probably] stupid question.
I know the two devices listed are a phone and a tablet but...
I dont have a lot of cash. I currently have a Motorola Defy running on CM10. Im asking myself should i buy a Tab 2 (which is now $179 on amazon.com) and keep the Defy (and have two devices) or sell the Defy and buy a LG Nexus 4 (having a single device). What do you guys recommend? My main uses are browsing the web, reading books and watching movies, occasional games, and occasional office documents editing. I want the portability of the Nexus 4 and keeping my device with me always but the larger screen of the Tab 2 has an advantage.
Thanks a lot!
Hi!
Once I decide to buy a tablet I had the same question.
It´s very easy to share the phone internet to tablet when out of your home or other place without wireless and once connected via bluetooth the tablet will give you a very nice confort for internet browsing, email, etc, besides book reading and other task such as games if it´s also the case.
It´s not good to answer a phone call with a tablet - wierd experience. And you will have to keep it with you, sometimes it´s size will be a problem. If you focus a less sized device you will lose the benefits of bigger screen, sometimes 7" seems to be small and sometimes big. Everything will depends upon your usage.
From my point of view you should keep with your Defy and buy the Tab 2, Wifi version. Nowadays I have also a Galaxy tab 2 7.0 + Motorola phone and they are very good friends one to each other. I am happy with my choice as with my phone I can do everything I would do a 3G version, ie (P3100).
Get the Nexus 4. It is fast, has stock Android, and you don't have to keep up with two devices.

Galaxy tab 2 have 7 inch screen so good for reading books, have full hd playback so good for movies, support most of hd games
So it must be great.
And on other hand if you want pure android experience, fast processor,2gb ram, early updates,a better camera, intense gaming go for nexus 4.
7" is a different experience than a 4". I find myself using the tablet (7.0) over my phone most of the time.
Thanks for all your answers... but i still cant make up my mind maybe ill wait for some time and save up for the nexus 4
Even I am stuck with the same problem. Though the tab 2 has a 7" screen its no HD display, that's what is stopping me from getting a tab 2.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
Well Tab 2 7.0 is 179.99 shipped while Nexus 4 is 393 tax and shipping. I love my Galaxy Nexus and Tab 2 7. I think it's a good combo. Between the two will be how you spend your days. Near wifi most of the time? Get the tab. On the move a lot or need a powerful phone? Nexus 4. And then there's the price difference. Even though the Nexus is a bargain, price difference is big.

IOS is smoother and better quality.
Android is easier to customize, and have more apps.
i am not an apple fanboy, but in this case i would pick the ipad.
Note have a better function for ya I think.. so much app in android is free.. and pretty usefull for collages.. than buying an app on iOS store but have same function and same features :good:

There's lots of HD tablets with a better screen that iPad the retina display is overrated a dnactually it depends on what tablet you get mist androids has better hardware than the crappy dual core ipad has so better graphics for android but I do agree with apps ios does have better apps but are you really gonna choose iOS just because it has better apps? Get a galaxy tablet HD. Or if you get a chance a nexus 10 its better than anything lol

IZOMBIE DIE DIE but really why are you gonna recommend him a iPad AKA APPLE DEVICE when there's many great tablet more importantly why are you on the android boards instead of the iPhone
Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk 2
Well if its for college and you want something to take notes on during lectures, then the s-pen of the Note 10.1 will allow much better precision when writing. If you've ever written with a regular capacitive stylus it feels like you are using a big marker. Theres also better multitasking on the Note since it can do side by side windows. The iPad will have more tablet apps and games. Reading and browsing the internet will probably be more or less the same on both platforms.
I'd say the iPad may have slightly more entertainment value but the Note 10.1 will have much more productive value for school work.

Samsung gear App , Gear S3 connecting to non-supported or rooted android phones ?!!

Hi
Dear Friends
The S3 is great ,,,,,, and the Tizan is amazing
but the problem is in the connection to android , I am wondering why large amount of phones are not supported , samsung did this trick to force us to buy there phones -which is smart move - but I am sure that we can connect any phone to the Gear S3
, and I think instead of trying to port android to S3 (Bad idea )
we can just give the Tizan its chance , by simply smart effort form our GENUS developer here , and remove the connectivity block
any one can help me ? , I tried this
https://forum.xda-developers.com/an...d-samsung-gear-app-android-n-samsung-t3547035
but it is not working
My phone : Moto g 1st gen , rooted android 5.1
Thanks
I've had my Gear S3 for about a week now and it works beautifully with my rooted/ROMd Nexus 6p. The only thing that won't work that I know of so far is Samsung Pay...
Maybe because your phone only has 1GB of ram and doesn't support Bluetooth 4.2?

Unless you can physically add more RAM to your phone and update the BT, you're hardware limited unless you can find some way to trick the watch into a BT 4.0 compatibility mode and find an APK that will run on 1GB of RAM...
