[Q] Installing EOS4 and rooting - Eee Pad Transformer Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there a thread to help me root my tf101 and then how to install EOS4? I am new to this and want to get JB on my tf101. Any suggestions where to go to find instructions would help.
Thanks,

[Q] Hey guys~ How can I flash my nexus s on ubuntu ?

What i'm using is Ubuntu 12.04
First of all , I need a driver so my laptop can recognize the phone after I format it.

Roads? Where we're going we don't need roads.
You don't need a driver. Follow the guide on how to unlock/root on Linux. Its in the stickies

Oh, it isn´t that hard nowadays... I´m a total noob (...at the moment, but trying to improve and got it going with a very simple method: VROOT (a chinese rooting utility for windows).
You´ll get all the instructions in this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2434453
In less than five minutes your TF300T is going to be rooted! Good luck! :good:

Yeah, i know that in the original post with the instructions the link can´t be seen, that´s why I haven´t post it here neither (the admins erase some direct links to copyrighted material, as far as I know VROOT is not a malaware, but the easiest way to root the TF300T, and many other devices). Don´t worry, try "vroot english" in google an there you have it (The app is from a company named Mgyum).
Don´t forget to follow the instructions form the post in XDA forums: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2434453 (not because it´s difficult to root, but after rooting you have to install SuperSU to replace the chinese root manager (Steps 4 to 10 in the tutorial).
Good luck! :good:

If you want to install MM 6.0, you need Kang TWRP [email protected] That's mandatory!!!
So I would like to recommend to you to look at following thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/transformer-tf300t/development/recovery-twrp-t3046479. There is for any question you may have to find the correct answer. Good luck!

Sorry, I thought your boot loader is already unlocked. This is one the basic requirements before you may be able to install both any custom recovery and any custom rom. There is also the fact being on the latest ASUS stock rom "Jelly Been".
That means you have to do your home work first before you do anything what can brick your tablet. How to do? you will find easily in the forum.
