[Q] Questions about System Ram/Rom - Micromax A110

Hi,
i would like tweak my T2 with JB 17.01.
Can i remove SimToolkit without breaking telephone function?
Is there a way to remove the "usb drive" which contain the windows drivers to gain more ram?
Is there a way to repartition the 4GB internal memory to gain mor ram?
Or ist it possible to attach some "ram" from sd card, like it was possible on the motorola milestone?
Thanks in advance.

i dont think u shd remove sim toolkit, get gemini app manager open it and just block it(simtoolkit) it will be fine, and as kernel of mmx a110 does not support swap, u can not add virtual ram, and repartitioning of internal memory, is very hard and frankly useless. i wont mess with it. best way to increase ram, in our mmx a110
1)- get a lighter rom many custom roms are available here(i am using jmp v9)
2)-get a third party app manager like gemini app manager, in it you can block unwanted apps(stay clear of any system app though), kill running apps, configure autorun(many apps have inbuilt auto run feature u can disable them in it)
3)-get a taskkiller to kill running apps(i am using clean master)
hope i am to solve ur problem

Installing applications on SD without affecting INTERNAL MEMORY...

I have a HTC Wildfire, rooted.
Try different ROM: Stock ROM, WildPuzzle, DK, Leaf, Joker Droid, etc..
I WANT HTC SENSE.
What application do you recommend me for internal free memory and move applications on SD?
I tried App2SD, Link2SD and A2SDGUI (integrated in DK ROM), but none of those applications DOES NOT USE INTERNAL MEMORY COMPLETELY.
Please help me...
Thanks.
Ciao...
There is no method of not using any internal memory, every method will leave some small amount of data in internal memory. I cannot see why you would have a requirement not to use ANY internal memory. I use the Starburst/Gingerburst ROMs and they have allowed me using Sibre's a2sd script to have nearly 300 apps installed (including 4 different GPS programs) and still have room for more.

Ok.
Questions:
- Data2SD is identical to A2SDGUI or it's similar?
- Starburst/Gingerburst ROMs are also there for Wildfire?
- Have you installed Sygic Mobile Navigator? I ask this because you've installed Sygic TOTALLY FOREIGN internal memory.
It seems that the script of A2SDGUI did not work with Sygic...
Thanks.

[Q] Internal memory is almost full

My phone,Samsung Galaxy Mini GT-S5570 is telling me that it's internal memory is almost full but there is still 18.29MB.
Why is this happening,Is there any solution???
Having only 18.29Mb left does sound "almost full".
Move some apps to SD and free the space.
life!
Still a nooby i dont know how to move apps to sd can u please guide me,and if i move apps to sd is it risky in any ways
You can do it easily with app like App2SD (You can find it in store).
It is safe and quite easy.
Use search in Play store, i cannot post it in here.
You can use Link2SD - its an app to move other apps between SD and internal memory - it can use internal App2SD method or you can create ext2/3/4 partition on the SD card and use it as expand to internal memory. Nice and easy to use app.
Use ext partition. Use link2sd or S2E
Just search for a tutorial in google. Is a good way to devices low-end
Sorry for bad english!
I think its not necessary.... Galaxy Mini comes with Android 2.2 froyo by default. If ur running any Android OS after Froyo or still on it, then,
Go to Settings > Applications > (choose the one that's too big in size) > If it supports moving to SD Card option would be present there to move it ...just click it...
Do for other apps if necessary..
Hope it helped

No prob thanks lot
+1 for link2sd, but it requires rooting. I'm using it too on a similar low end android phone(the 5570i variant). But I recommend the ext2 filesystem for the sd card's second partition. It's the best for that purpose. But if you dont want to root, there is still the builtin moving to sd card option in application preferences.

You can't do that!
Just buy a SD card if you find that the internal storage is not enough, just likes everyone does!
On the hint side, you should have bought the 32GB version if it is available in your country.

It's lagging because SWAP is using an SDCard, which is a lot slower than the phone's internal storage. Just take a look at your apps, and see what's consuming a lot of memory and uninstall them if possible. Facebook app and anything made by Cheetah Mobile are the biggest drainers.
I want to Have More Swap not more free ram , but my phone get laggy how can i fix this problem?

SWAP gives more RAM. If your phone lags then check your apps, they might be taking up too much of the CPU or memory. Also, got to stamina mode and disable extended usage if it is on.
