David Hawig (the original designer) is planning to start a crowdfunding campaign.
The whole thing started over at the german android forum android-hilfe.de as a proof of concept and met a fairly high interest.
As of today there's an official website for AnDock where David Hawig will keep us updated about his progress.
Some features are:
- HDMI connection through Slimport
- Active cooling to prevent CPU-throttling
- NFC-tag
What do you think about the project?
I am in no means related to the project. This project plainly needs more attention.

New [OP] Tag?

[OP] next to the op's name
Woah, when did that happen?
I was asking the same?
It´s a good way to recognize to original poster on the thread!
I added it this morning because of a suggestion from one of the developers. Was easy to do and a good idea. Let me know if you have any problems with it.

No problems; it's great!
One feature request that I wish these forums had was the auto-search when creating a new thread. On the Precentral.net forums, when you go to create a thread, it automatically gives you search results with threads that may already have the answer you're looking for.
Is there any possibility this could be implemented? It would cut down A LOT of repeat threads and make these forums even better!

I was wondering what [OP] was...I thought it was just my eyes from a long evening out on the town
Awesome idea! I love it! Although I didn't actually know what it meant until I read this thread. But it will definitely come in handy.
and here I though I had been promoted...

Hub Links for MSkip's WP7 Theme

I have started this thread in order to see if anybody is interested in using some custom hub links I created for usage with MSkip's wonderful WP7 theme.
Here is a preview of what I created up to now:

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
If you like it, I`ll come up with some more and release a small pack. I have also created a custom background text (such as "lifestyle and games" or "pictures and memories") for my personal use, which I am not going to share. But I can always try and answer some requests for any custom text, as long as I have the free time available to do so...
Please share your opinion! Tell me what you think and if you want to see more!

PS: Thanks to Vostradamus for helping me sort out the mess created with all those names in the .xmls and in the registries. I couldn't have done it without his assistance.
80 views and not one post? I think I already know what`s going to happen with these skins...
hey buddy. it would be nice if you share your background to us. and give us a peek it.
thanx.

Stupid Question

Sorry Guys for this (stupid) question,
i've made some applications with ed's sense interface and now i want to make some icons for it. My current attempts look pretty bad

}
I've made an *.icon File with 256*256 pixels and assembeld it with my project.
It would be very nice if somebody could give me some Icontemplate (the grey rounded box in the background of many icons), and tell me the best practice for making own icons.
Well i think you may want to try in some photoshop/icons related forums or boards. Search on internet, there are severals, and many will reply to your questions and may help you.
This is a development forum, and not sure if you may get much input from any members.
Not to metion I would say this is posted int the incorrect section...thread moved to Q & A

What Is It and What Does It Do?
Hey guys, this is just something I was working on, to dabble in the new material design introduced with Android 5.0 Lollipop. Wanted to play around with some of the new stuff, while also making something somewhat useful at the same time. It's a really simple app that allows you to perform USSD tasks with buttons instead of having to type it out.
This specific one is for AT&T Users, but I have plans to do it for other networks.
If you do know more codes that can be added or any of the existing ones that needs to be corrected let me know!
Plans for Upgrades
In the really near future, I'm hoping to add much more codes as well as addtional functions. However, I don't use AT&T, so if anyone can suggest additional codes/features, it would be helpful.
