Because the menus are predetermined/fixed, there is no worry about spam or harassment, just raw updates.
This app is in no way a privacy concern as it only sends numerical values to the VVS server that can only be downloaded by others as raw data. That in no way identifies you or the device using the Status app (Except for your country code. But you are another person out of millions in the same country). Other users will only see the update type, country, and time.
As more people use the app, your world will feel more open as you will see constant action around you.
When the application is shut down it instantly de-activates updates for itself and kills your unique key.
Visit VVS Sites (http://www.valevarkasystems.com/sites/android/) for more information and download date.
Features:
- Back button kills/shuts down the application, home button keeps the app alive
- Multitasking; stays open when you hit your home button, or open other apps
- Icon displays in the notification bar when the program starts running and hides on program close
- No advertising
- Simple design; one page layout
- Only sends pre-programmed, numerical data to the server. No unique information identifies you.

Live Stream
There have been more additions to the stream. Once again, the more people that use it, the better. This application relies on user-generated content.

Steady Increase
The number of status updates are continuously increasing.

5.Screen Filter Android Widget, Advanced Brightness Control
Posted on Jun 11, 2011 in Tools, Top Rated Widgets | 1 comment
The Screen Filter Android widget lets you apply a brightness shade to your Android device’s screen.
Version: 1.2
Size: 52.75KB
Category: Tools
Price: Free
Reduce your screen’s brightness more effectively with the Screen Filter Android widget than you’d previously done with the default Android options. The brightness reduction is perfect for nighttime viewing, eBook reading, or for just saving battery.
Long-press your Android homescreen to find and create a new Screen Filter widget. When the customization options popup, use the slider to set the desired brightness level. The default, 48.6%, is a nice compromise between functionality and visibility. Use the example text to decide which setting is best for your needs. Additionally, there is an option to toggle the backlighting of soft-keys (menu, home, back, search). Unfortunately, the developer states that this feature doesn’t work for all Android devices (and didn’t consistently work on my Samsung Galaxy S phone).
For those of you who also use the Tasker or Locale Android apps, you’ll be happy to know this widget includes a plugin allowing you to enable brightness configurations based on time, location, etc.
If you think this post helps at least few people ..then few more updates will added regularly
6 Helpful Android Shopping Apps Information
1. ToMarket Grocery Shopping
If you’re the type of person who keeps on forgetting to buy something after you’ve left the grocery, then this app is for you. ToMarket helps you list everything down before you head out. You can create your list by typing it directly in your phone, by uploading a CSV file, or by voice command. Everything is customizable; you can arrange items by category, and even by aisle depending on the store you’ve filtered. Moreover, it has a barcode scanner, a to-do list, and a coupon tracker. If you want to share your list via email or SMS
2. ShopSavvy
ShopSavvy is marketed as “the original barcode scanner for Android”, but it’s definitely more than that. If you want the best price for certain item, just type in the keyword or scan the barcode, and you’ll get a roster of online and brick-and-mortar places within your vicinity that sells it, as well as how it’s priced in each store. You can check out reviews to help you with your purchase, or you can add products you like to your wish list and monitor price changes. ShopSavvy also saves your history for later browsing, and is integrated with Facebook and Twitter. It’s a pretty good app for canvasing and casual shopping
3. Milo Local Shopping
You have probably experienced going to the mall only to find that what you wanted to buy was out-of-stock. Milo can help you avoid that hassle by giving you access to store shelves in your vicinity. Enter your keyword and the app will pull up nearby stores, and the number of stocks of the item you need. You’ll also get to compare prices so you know where you can get the best deal. Currently, it only works in the US, but we hope that they have plans of going international soon.
4. Shopkick
Shopkick is a geolocation-based app with a spin – not to mention freebies. Here’s how it works: once you walk in a partner store (like Target), the app recognizes where you are and immediately gives you “kickbucks”, which are reward points you need to accumulate in order to redeem your gift cards or Facebook Credits. The nice thing about is that you can redeem anywhere, so you don’t worry about searching for a faraway store branch just to get your freebies.
5. Google Catalogs
Google Catalogs is another great addition to the company’s wide array of applications. Designed specifically for tablets, it offers you hundreds of catalogs to browse through, lets you shop without leaving the app, and gives you the option to share the items you find interesting with friends via email. It’s under continuous development, so we can be sure that more catalogs will be added soon.
6. Egg Drop
Even if there are tons of shopping apps out there, Egg Drop manages to differentiate itself by focusing not just on what stores have for sale, but on what your neighbors have for sale. Everything works in real time, and should you have any questions, you can talk with the seller with the in-app messager. Planning to sell something? You can instantly upload a photo of your item as well as its price and you’re ready to go. It’s almost like Craiglist, only more functional, and it’s pretty nifty when it comes to searching for the best deals around. If you’re interested in online shopping but can’t stay put scanning auction sites all day long, then this app is for you.

AppAware is another way to discover those types of apps. The crowdsourcing app tracks what has become popular on the Android Market within a given timeframe, which provides a quick snapshot of what others are downloading.
AppAware narrows popular apps to within a week, day, or hour. As people begin to download Digg.com or Trapster, AppAware lists those as popular things that you may be interested in seeing. Users are then linked to Android Market entries for more information and download links. Most important of all is the “Installed by Me” feature that narrows listings by your location. This allows users to see apps popular by Android users in their community, making it easier to discover hyperlocal apps and filter out things that may be popular elsewhere but are useless to you (like Orkut).
KEY FEATURES
The “Top removed apps in the last hour” may also help determine what might be worth skipping (not always an indicator of poor apps, but can help you make decisions).
Offers popular Android Market listings based on time period or location
From all app that in the list only 1 is the great and very usefull SanDisk Memory. I love this app to back up my phone

[APP][4.0+] Here I Am: Location reporting innovated!

Hello, I am an independent developer and I have made an application called "Here I Am". I claim that this app is better than most location reporting apps in the market and I am requesting you to kindly try this application out and tell me what you think.
Be it your mom, dad or your significant other, there is always someone who cares about you when you leave home. They want to know again and again where you are but you cannot stop your car and type texts like that. Here I Am serves you by periodically sending information of your current location in the form of SMS to that person.
But here's what makes it UNIQUE:
This app sends the texts in human readable language. The receiver will not be staring at the screen trying to figure out what do those coordinates mean. Because there will be no coordinates, nor will there be a link forcing them to open a web browser every time. The app will simply send texts in the following format:
"I'm at STREET NAME near LANDMARK", or
"I'm at STREET NAME, AREA NAME, heading towards LANDMARK. Just crossed A LANDMARK BEHIND ME".
FEATURES:
- Easy to use (provide a contact and forget everything).
- Detailed and advanced settings for users who want full control.
- The receiver only needs to read the sms, without the struggle to interpret it.
- This is a truly BEAUTIFULLY designed application.
- Look ma! No hands: You activate the app and forget it. The app will do all the work at the appropriate times.
TLDR;
This app can periodically send texts to your selected contact about details of your current location. This usually includes the street name and if you are moving towards or away from some place, it can include that place's name as well.
The application uses it's handcrafted algorithms to detect if it needs to tell about your movements or not.

[APP][4.0+] Shuffle My Life 1.7 (Vanquish boredom with random activities)

Hey,
This is my first major app I've produced by myself - it's called Shuffle My Life, and it generates random activities for you to do depending on where you are, what time it is, the weather conditions, and so on. For example, if you're near a park, there'll be outdoor activities. If it's after 10pm, you tend to get media-based activities like news, new music discovery, and so on.
It's currently in beta and being heavily developed, so I'm looking for feedback and ideas for where to take this in the future!
PS - here's some info about the permissions used:
Location - used to determine what places are near to you, to feed Google Places API (e.g. are you near a bakery? a restaurant? a park?) - Location is only stored on the local device, so if you delete the app, the data goes with it. You don’t need to use the app with location if you don’t want to.
File storage read/write - To be able to save images/videos you’ve taken with some tasks (this is upcoming for an expanded sharing functionality)
Find/use accounts - used for Google Play Games
WiFi connection and disconnection/network access - This can probably be removed, it was a relic from when the built in web browser needed to check if you were on WiFi before automatically loading a page (it now always prompts before loading a page).
Control vibration - For some fun feedback when completing tasks
Some ideas for the future:
- Localization and better support for other currencies
- Lots more tasks
- Some multiplayer element
- Better task submission system
I'm hoping I can take this idea and run with it, expanding it as I go - but I wanted your feedback first! Thanks for checking it out!
Oh, and the Play Store link is here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gadsby.shufflemylife
I like the idea but I think users need more info (may be more screenshots) about app.
Is it global? What about preferences? Why isn't it in Play Store?
It is in the Play Store, but I'm a new user so can't post direct links yet - I'll update it when I can!
It's not localized, if that's what you mean? The app should work anywhere in the world, though currency (I.e. the estimated time it takes to complete a task) is in dollars only at the moment. I'll add an automatic conversion at some point!
I'll add a couple more screenshots, good idea!
I just updated the app with a few fixes, including the ability to opt out of Google Play Games, faster loading times, a new splash screen, and crash bugs resolved. Any other thoughts?

[APP][4.1+] talk pseudo - anonymous chat for installed apps, location, interest

As i'm sure others were, I was disappointed to see AppChat go away. I've been working on a much larger scale idea, but figured this could be a good starting point.
talk pseudo is an anonymous chat app that creates rooms based on the apps installed on your device, location, device information, and your interest. While most chat apps (and social media in general) require a login or sign up, I wanted to try a new approach. Everything is anonymous. For each room, you are given a randomly generated ID (and color). These identifiers are also periodically regenerated. While I can't make any guarantees towards the long term direction, I can assure you that the platform of anonymity will ALWAYS be here (looking at the like of yik yak, which started forcing profiles/usernames). While in a given room, you are able to chat as well as optionally attach images to your message.
With talk pseudo you can also add custom rooms, tailored towards your own personal interest. You can add your favorite artist from Spotify, favorite bar from Foursquare, tv shows, or websites and subreddits. All of the rooms can also be toggled. So if you'd like to hide location based rooms, simply select to hide them in the settings. Along with that, if you select to hide location rooms for example, you will also no longer be prompted for location permissions. Everything permission/data wise is used on an AS NEEDED basis.
Available Rooms:
- Apps installed on device
- Device information (model, brand, etc)
- Location information (city, street, etc)
- Network information (Provider, timezone, etc)
- Nearby Foursquare places
- What's trending
- Twitter trends
- Foursquare trending places
- pseudo trending
Available Custom Rooms:
- Spotify
- Foursquare places
- TV Shows
- Reddit / Subreddits
- Websites
An extra feature that I saw people were requesting from AppChat was an "app search" functionality, allowing you to find discussions on apps before you were to buy one for example. talk pseudo has a built in app search, that leverages the created app based rooms. I found this to be the best approach, as this guarantees that there are users for that given app already. But keep in mind, this means not ALL apps will be available, though the list will continue to grow as time goes on.
Please also keep in mind this is in a very early state. I do have a rather large long term plan for features, but I am also looking for as much feedback as I can get. I've found that community driven apps tend to have great outcomes, and i'd love for talk pseudo to take that approach.
That app is now live on Google Play. I will also be publishing talk pseudo to a few other Android app stores here soon. If you do not have the Play Store on your device, I can also get a link up to a direct download. Along those same lines, that app uses but does not require Play Services. Everything should have graceful fallbacks in the event Play Services is not on the device!
Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.gopseudo.talkpseudo (or search talk pseudo)

Already some feedback! There will be another build that goes up later tonight that will fix the icons used in the App Shortcuts!
v1.0.0.2 has been pushed up to address some issues when declining location permissions, as well as fix the icons used on the App Shortcuts! Should be live within the next hour or so!
V1.0.0.7 has now gone live!
Changelog:
- Reduced app size
- Can now open apps, websites, and subreddits links from within a room
- Improved Foursquare search
- Improved rooms sorting
- Intro notice
YikYak has returned the option to remain anonymous actually.
Edit: If this takes off, I'm set, lol.

- Improved room syncing
v1.0.0.9 is live

CSGO Tablet App - Your Pocket Radar

Hi guys
I present you my application, or rather the application system called "CSGO Tablet App"
In a specific topic we will focus on the free Android version. But first, a small digression.
The CSGO Tablet App is a combination of two applications. (PC and Android)
Using the PC version, information from the game is read and output to the Android version.
The goal of the project is not to make cheat, as many people think, but to expand the gaming potential with the help of a mobile application, by adding various interesting solutions.
Applications are virus free and do not harm user devices.
For this reason, they are available on Google Play.
The visual shell is framed using Unity3d and, in fact, the unity of applications are some kind of closed structure, without the necessary permissions to access user information legally is almost impossible.
Little about the idea
To tell you the truth, I'm not a big CSGO fan and I have little interest in this game.
The idea of the CSGO Tablet App came after the introduction of the Battle-Royale mode into CSGO. In it, the players, in addition to the main weapon, are given an electronic tablet on which the game map and some other symbols are displayed.
Playing this new mode, you have to constantly look into this tablet, which not only distracts, but also turns you into a target for other players.
I decided that it would be nice to have such an application to which information from the electronic tablet would be displayed inside the game.
I started searching the Internet for something like the Steam API \ CSGO API and really found something similar and official, except that I didn’t have what I needed. I even get my position as a player, and this is for some unknown reason illegal data. Although the console CSGO has a team that displays the position of the player on the screen.
As a result, I had no choice but to read this data (the positions of the players, for a start) from the memory.
Was written Memory Manager, which opens the CSGO process and reads the necessary data.
(Nothing is writing to memory, only read)
Now for the Android app itself
It receives data from the server, which is the PC version of my application.
Nothing special about that. The main thing was a beautiful design.
The application displays a specific map from CSGO, on which the game is played, the health and armor of your character, as well as the positions of opponents.
Many here will begin to cry to condemn, saying that this is Radar Hack ...
Well, if you look at it from this side, then yes, but not at the same time.
Based on the features of the Source engine, you will only see the position of enemies if someone from the players of your team notices them.
Or if you are very close to the enemy.
Features of the free version, which is discussed in this article, is the presence of only one dz_blackside map and instead of enemies, you have yellow areas (hexagons) where they can be.
How to use the app?
To begin with, applications must be on the same WIFI network.
You need to download the PC version, also install the Android version on your device.
Run the PC version and CSGO (order is not important)
Wait for the CSGO menu to load and press START in the PC application (CSGO hangs for a couple of seconds)
In the Android application, press START and wait for the download at the top of the screen "255/255 Loading"
This is the selection of IP addresses.
If you did everything correctly and you have no problems with the network, then the inscription "255/255 Loading" will disappear after loading. Otherwise, it will start again and again.
The download will happen once and will never be required again on your device. If, of course, your local IP does not change.
That's all, thank you for your attention. Waiting for objective and honest feedback.
