Eye tracking app that allows you to do what the S4 does, but now on every android phone! - -
Control your Android with your eyes!
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.drippler.eyecontrol
This feature in Galaxy S4 is known as Eye tracking but you don’t need to buy the might S4 to get this feature, Now you can install and enjoy Eye tracking with any android phone which has a front facing camera. This new feature is very useful while lying on bed or drinking a glass of beer.
Just to be exact, this new feature for all android phones is not a ROM or anything like that. You just need your phone and this app and you are good to go. The developer named as “Dripper” are behind this app and they have done a pretty good job. The first few user reviews are very positive.
Like the Galaxy S4, While watching any video if your ayes are moved away, the video will be automatically stopped and when you are seeing it again, It will play back, This App known as “Eye – Eye tracking for Android” pretty much does the same, and can do most of the things which a galaxy S4 can. So what are you waiting for?

Wish it were true, many disabled persons would benefit
My aunt has degenerative motor disorder and I looked this up because it would have meant the world for her. She can no longer use her hands and fingers. Since she is forced to spend most of her time in bed, having the tablet in front of her and being able to operate it with eye tracking would have effectively made her relatively independent again....at least online.
I know there are computers like TOBI which can do this, but the tablet app option would be much more cost effective.
Alas,

So its like a mirror reflective from the back camera to your face? Pretty clever I say.
They haven't release it yet they call it onemoreface, I think they are still in the state of building it maybe a few more months hopefully january and when they finally release it hopefully its compatible with G2. This addon will solved my issues regarding my constant use of video call :happy:excited:

I Hope this will get released soon and for a few different models other then the Nexus One in the picture, I will buy at least two one for my Nexus the other for the HTC Desire Z , but I got a funny feeling that by the time this rolls out it might be to late, within the next six months most smart phones will all have what Nokia has been doing for years, front face cameras, then this gadget will be to late.

It would be too late if in six months everyone ditches their phone for one with an ffc. Ill have my g2 longer than that. And I don't know why it would take 6 months to release two mirrors that mount to the top of your phone. You could ?ake this for yourself right now it looks like.

Doesn't really matter if it were 8 or 13. Megapixels don't matter unless you're blowing up your pictures to like poster size.
What really matters is the size of the sensor. I'd like to see bigger sensors in phones, somehow.

Well it's not like I'm going out to buy a Nokia phone. I simply stated that if Nokia made an Android phone, I would buy it, because their build quality is really good.
I do think Nokia made the wrong decision going with Windows phone, though.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
Microsoft money is ALL that is keeping the Nokia doors open now. Their other phones are losing money in a huge way. Their Win7 and Win7.5 phones were a complete business failure. Nokia will be done if their Win8 phones fail, too. And I fully expect their Win8 phones to fail.
They do not have the financial resources anymore to develop an Android phone.

This is waaay of topic but out of curiosity, anyone log into their banks' websites tonight? Every bank on the planet doing website maintenance at the same time? Seems pretty fishy to me.

Good to know. Keep checking from time to time. The list of banks is growing, it's up to 15 that we know of across the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. It just seems weird to me that they are all doing it at the same time. Clearly there is something going on behind the scenes that we are not being made aware of.

No, BlackBerry is already dead but it seems they didn't realize it yet.
They are trying to figure out how to get money of what it's left.
The people that still use BBM in my country already use WhatsApp so no need to have another messenger with them.
They should have released BBM for Android almost two years ago. Now it's late, as most decisions with BB.
I was a fervent user of BB and still miss some of it's features and polish (i.e. Calendar Meetings processing) but I realize it's a platform that has years of delay and some usability drawbacks.

not sure what money they going to make with this, it's free atm isnt it?. Anyhow i agree with you, Whatsapp is fine, its been cross-platform for ages, and you don't have to worry about remembering pin numbers, also will be hard convincing family and friends to switch back from whatsapp that they been using for a long time (people usually tend to take the path of least resistance)

The only thing I like about BBM is the ability to connect without sharing your phone number. I come across such situations a lot of times so lookiing forward to it.
