Nokia Mobiles support this functionality.

Headset button controller app?

Is there a headset button control app for Galaxy Note? The stock controls only allow play/pause and next song..
I've had an iPhone 3gs a long time ago, and every android device i've used so far lacks the headset control that apple offers.
Is there an app which allows previous/next song, forward/rewind, play/pause?
I'm using this app with their headset. Someone mentioned it works with other single buttoned headsets. So Give it a try...

Working like a CHARM! I love it alreaddy.
Previous app I used was "Headset Button Controller" but when I turned volume up by 1, it would go up and down for several minutes.
Jays is much much better. LOVE it
Thanks
If you are talking about single-button headsets, did your stock Note headsets came without the volume buttons or you are just not counting them and only referring to the pause/play button?

this doesn't really answer your question, but if you haven't yet purchased a headset, all of the A2DP bluetooth headset controls work just fine on my MW600
The application mentioned solved my problem. It works without any errors and very smooth.
I'm using the original headset with one button and 2 buttons for volume.
Without the app I can't select previous tracks etc

I use this with my Beats Tour and it works great:

1 and 3 Button control for online music players like Spotify..
I like this headset control app as it controls not only buttons on musicplayers like Poweramp, Google Music etc but also online players like Spotify..
I also use this app in my native language.

Does all headset control apps conflict with lockscreen music widget/controls?
Does all apps used to control headset clicks conflict with lock screen music widget? I'm using Asylum_Omni_4.4.2
........
I am using samsung Gt-s5300(rooted) and Cellularline Audio Pro Fly bluetooth headphones set. The headset buttons are working fine for music, but i can`t voicecall. I installed Cyberon Voice Speed Dial 1.2.15 which has options to voice call when i hold-press headset button but is not working. I tried Jays and Headset Button controlle but none are working also showing no commands in debug mode. I do not have inertnet access on the phone anywhere near. I guess the problem in headset not recognising the apk HS controls is because its disigned for apple devices and phone doesn`t have id tags or voice commands in contacts by itself. This is my first smart phone so any help is welcome. Voice recongision of Cyberon Speed Dial is working fine but i need a way to launch the application using the headset.
p.s ok after i tried lots of app i managed to add open app function to headset using Jays Headset 3 keys settings. It doesnt work with the folder music player i use but it works when folderplayer is not open or with regular music player so my problem is solved for now and i can 1click then voice dialer opens so i can voice dial without touching the phone.
No 1 headset app for Android by far.
Found this review, it explains this free (+ ad free as well) app better than I can, I just use it

Head set Music Control is not working...

In My A110 Headset Music Control is Not Working in the JMP 9.0 ROM...How to fix this Problem????
re flash ur rom it will help you
Hello,
I have the same problem. On ICS it goes, on each JB ROM (I have testet 5) ist doesn't.
I have also test this:
reddit.com/r/Android/comments/12vb61/psa_fix_for_jellybean_headset_controls
But in the KeyTest App the headset button doesn't show an activity. When I get a call, I can use the button to take the call.
Also in the factory mode the headset show "press".
JB doesn't work with the headset or had somebody find a fix?
greetings

Headset Button controls on Android?

Just wondering if there is some kind of software hack or mod that allows the volume buttons on headsets/earphones to work correctly. I know that with some players like Poweramp have the middle mic button working with single, double, and triple click. I know the volume buttons work on iOS devices so shouldn't there be a way to make it work with android?

There is an app ( may be many).
Something called headset button controller. Yeah it's
Here
Search on playstore. Or try tencent player to use volume rockers to switch between songs.

LIFE!
IT'S WHAT YOU MAKE OUT OF IT!
Can't really use anything besides Poweramp. For obvious reasons.
Anyway here's a pic. I'm talking about the volume buttons built into the headset. Not the middle button and not the volume rockers on the phone.

You Tried that app ? You can set up which button performs what action, blah blah.
And tactile player ( sorry I said something else before, it doesn't even exist) isn't a music player.
It's just an app used to skip tracks using volume rockers.

Poweramp has the functionality to skip tracks using the volume rockers on the phone already built in so no need for an app.

Hi
You will normally not get a pair of iPhone 3 button earphones work with an Android phone as the jacket technogies differ and so does its mic.
To make it work you need a.) appropriate earphones and b.) the software. A few makers has both
3-button earphones for Android

Dont mention it. I use this app daily going to work and going home, it really works. Ive tried many headset apps and this is the best by far (and its 100% free).
Edit: added a screenshot. When connecting the headset I made my musicplayer start up automatically. Really neat as then I dont need to pull our the phone starting the music while on the go. Helps alot.
Cheers!

DEGAUSS LABS HEADSET CONTROL APP NOW WITH ANDROID 6 MARSHMALLOW
Hey, they just released their updated Headset Control Center for Android 6 Marshmallow. Didnt find that support elsewhere.
Now I use Nexus 5x and Spotify as my target music app (set individually) and can now control play/pause/next/previous/vol+/vol-, functional for my everyday life going back and forth to work etc. Really a neat App that I think most Android users would like.

[Q] headphone button

With my current 4.2.2 ROM by Artas for LG L9, the headphone button is not working anymore. I use it to change the audio track when listening music with Poweramp. Is there some android configuration file that needs to be changed to restore that function?

Headset controls

Hi,
I've go the headset from Galaxy SIII (Samsung EHS64AVFWE).
This one: http://www.sfplanet.com/media/catal...d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/e/h/ehs64avfwe-2_1__2.jpg
Buttons aren't working at all. I don't care about the volume control, but I would love the Play/pause button to work. Is there any way to do that? The microphone during a call works fine.
I tried some apps from Play Store (like Jays or Headset Button Controller) but none of them are doing anything.
For the record, all of the buttons (including volume) work on my Xperia M.
I'm running PA 4.44, but buttons don't work on stock either.
A solution would be highly appriciated.
Regards.
Try using PowerAmp.. I used my Moto RAZR's headset with my G., i could pause/play, prev and next track with a single button.. (You've to enable that in PowerAmp settings though)
