wrong forum this forum is for the evita, i think you have the endeavoru

Just to clarify here, do you have an AT&T or Rogers or Telstra One X, or the international Tegra3 version?
It's important because the two phones use a totally different SoC i.e. processors.

BRICKED after deleting a file !!! HELP PLEASE...

Ok, so I had recently flashed MIUI sense based, I realized it wasn't for me so I restored my backup of TrickDroid 6.1. After doing this I went through and decided to delete some some stuff because my space was getting low (not 5mb low, more like maybe 1/2gb), I went to delete the MIUI v4 2.7.6 file and the phone appeared to go into standby... I tried to wake it up again with no luck. Plugging it into a charger does nothing, no red light; no green light. I'm unable to get into bootloader mode, no matter how long I hold down the "down volume + power" combo or any variation of it.
I need one of the gurus to help please !!!!
maybe post this in general or q&a?
any adb connection? if it's in standby then you may be able to move along to the next step
could just be a SOD (sleep of death)

Did u try hold the power? It'll reboot?then hold volume down about 10s.it should go to bootloader
2nd Option: use all-in-one tool kit.it has a command to reboot.
And don't post question or help here.read the rule.

Sorry about posting in this section, I assumed I'd get a quicker response.
I tried the All-In-One Kit thing... doesn't work "error: device not found"
I cannot get the phone to power on at all, no bootloader, no splash screen, nothing recognized by my pc. I get a "QHUSB_DLOAD NO DRIVER FOUND"
Thoughts?

If it can't boot or use adb command.i think u should contact with HTC for helps,or at least where u buy the mobile. And of couse u still have Warranty.
It may be a hardware problem. We here can only try if it is a software problem.at ur position, the device can't be recognized by Computer/Laptop (before this,it worked well right?),then i think bad luck.
Don't be despair, it'll have some way to solve.

Sorry to tell you man the same thing just happened to me. I just got a replacement from T-Mobile. You will not get that thing back on. Just call T-Mobile and tell them it won't power on nor will it charge. It's funny because I was adding music to mine when it happened. If it happened the same way mine did then you will notice it was really hot when it shut off. The MDJ kernel overheated the Processor and killed it. Once that happens the device is a useless brick. I'm trading my replacement for another phone because this phone happens to overheat a lot.

Yup, same here, overheated while using fpse, died suddenly and wouldn't even charge. Tmo overnighted a replacement.

Thanks everyone for the help... At least I know what I have going on... Already started re-downloading a buttload of stuff to get back on track. I don't normally backup my Nandroids or my TB files to my PC, maybe I should start.
Going tomorrow to the Tmo store to get the replacement sent overnight.
Thanks again.

[Q] Please help.

Hi Guys, so apologies in advance for not knowing exactly what I'm talking about but I've got a problem with my htc one x
So last night i updated my phone, and it asked me to plug it in as I had low battery. This I did. I went to bed and when i woke up this morning the phone was dead. It was still plugged in though so I dont think it ran out of battery. I turned the phone on and it came up on the white htc quietly brilliant screen and wont progress any further.
i read a few forums and im not entirely sure how bad it is so I dont want to start fiddling without asking. any advice is great
Is it the HTC One X (Endeavoru) or the HTC One XL / at&t One X (Evita)?

Did you try to powerdrain and to restart again?
Or check with the manufacturer.

What do you mean by powerdrain? Discharging the device? I wouldn't suggest doing that on a device that's refusing to boot.

Need a Working Rom for HTC One S Clone!

Hi I have htc one s some people says its a refurbished phone, some says its a Korean phone, some says its Chinese Clone..I don't know who is right. Images are attached .and I also found a link relates to my htc one s
http://www.engadget.com/2012/04/17/htc-and-sina-weibo-debut-one-s-with-microblog-function/
I bought it from a friend at that time it was working fine running the same software as in the attached pictures . So I thought why not to change the ROM?? To find out whether the phone is S-Off or S-On I turn off my phone and press Vol - + Power button to turn it on it vibrates and stuck on the HTC Quietly Brilliant..Thanks in advance.

When I saw pics I though "wow this counterfact is so close to the original one !"
But you can trust endgadget it's a reliable website.
Your phone isn't a counterfacted One S but an chinese release by HTC, it really looks like an original because it is one !
Did you try to hold power button for 15s ? Your buttons will blink and the phone will reboot (this is what happens on the "3 buttons One S").
About flashing a new rom, you need to know if it's a S3 or S4 chip.
And why did you attached two last pictures ? It's not your phone am I right ?
Edit : In the Engdget video I heard it's an S4 variant of the One S, but check it to be sure.
Edit 2 : The back of your phone is strange, HTC logo should be like that.
First thing is to know what hardware you have!

[Q] HTC One XL (evita) Crashes and Locks up A LOT

Hi all
I have a One XL (evita). For the past few months it has been crashing and locking up a lot. Multiple times a day. It started on the stock rom. I tried a few different roms, etc and it does the same thing on all of them. It's currently on Cyanogen 11-20140916-SNAPSHOT-M10-evita 4.4.4 Sometimes when it's on charge it get extremely hot and doesn't actually charge,
The phone is mostly usable, but annoying. I'm probably going to be upgrading it. But I'd rather not just bin it.
How can I diagnose the issue?
Wrong forum, you have evita (One XL/AT&T One X), but posted in endeavouru (Int. One X). Apart from that mistake it looks like battery or other hardware issues.
If you're having the same problem across multiple ROMs it's probably a hardware fault. Run an RUU and leave it stock, if the problem persists you can confirm that it's hardware.

[Completed] [Q] HTC ONE M7 doesn't open/charge - doesn't boot !

My HTC One M7 suddenly blacked out without any obvious reasons,it was working fine and charged (20-25) % .
now it doesn't open, and it doesn't charge and the Red LED doesn't show or flashes.
i tried holding power for various periods of time (15 sec, 30 sec, 1 min,..) also tried the power+Vol.Down , Power+Vol.Up , and the Three buttons for also various periods of times and it doesn't blink , it doesn't open.
i also tried to open a strong flash light in the sensors up the screen while doing these steps and it didn't work either.
the phone is in a mint condition, never had a problem with it before since i got a month ago.
when i connect it to the PC, it makes the plugging sound, and it show "Qualcomm "something Driver.
i need help please
Hi there,
I'd suggest asking here: So you came at XDA-Developers to find help? (Beginners Thread) (M7), the people helping in this thread should be able to guide you further!
