Hello, I am working on a JB 4.1.2 based ROM for Micromax Canvas 2, my ROM gets booted on my device but few problems mentioned below -
1. no sim detection ( tried replacing MMX modem.img then also it didn't work)
2. no wifi & bluetooth (same problem as ulefone rom)
need help from devs...what may be the problem..??
EDIT: Bluetooth worked...replaced mtk_stp_by.ko in system/lib/modules/
got the prob... but no solution..!!

i got the problem .. the IMEI & the BASEBAND details are getting deleted that's why sims are not detected... need help to solve this.. anybody have any idea how to solve this...??
Go to mmx ftp site and dwnload imei writer and write imei on ur phne usng pc

hey guys...i would like to know the difference between JB v1.10 and v1.11 ..I went to the mmx svc to update my A110 ..so i'm just curious which version of JB i have right now...is there anyway to check it? ..

Nothing new according to the people who updated to v 1.11 except for 1% battery fix and a new boot animation that's it.
only difference between v1.0 and v1.11
Software release notes:
1. Operating system is upgraded from ICS to
Jelly bean.
2. M! Store is removed.
3. New wallpapers are integrated.
4. Software is backward compatible with old
TP available(BYD Make).
5. Power on animation is changed.
Hardware release notes:
1.TP is changed from BYD to BAOMING.

please accept tons of thanks for developing such a nice rom which support customised ui installation.
this rom would have been much greater if this had supported hindi fonts too as we all know that from 2.2 android supports hindi language also suvi rom was also supporting the hindi typing with the help of google input.
but form suvi rom 12 it doesnt.
please rectify the iproblem i dont wan to go to agin to suvi rom 7 or othes like lewa or stock.
one more isue i am facing thta might not be related with rom but i am unable to install templerun oz on this new rom its showing package file invalid.

I'm a new be in android, and discover this forum when i'm searching roms for my phone
which is a clone of mmx A110 canvas 2.
all roms 4.0.4 and 4.1.1 and 4.1.2 of canvas 2 on this forum wok fine for my phone
but the newest ones 4.2.1 and 4.2.2 have a problems with them
the problem is in the camera, it did'nt work ( there's no driver message )
by a dev, i need to modify kernel ( private message )
first i'm a simple user, not dev ( how to modify the kernel with drivers for my phone cam ? )
second this issue with kernel appear only with 4.2
third i can't post in dev section i don't know why
finaly how to fix this problem

Strange....Camera is working perfect after release of custom kernel of @Andrixu...Do u have old MMX FON or the Latest one...as latest MMX A110 is not supporting camera on 4.2.2..although our devs r contionuosly working to fix it asap..in case if u hv old MMX than try to.reflash the latest kernel of @Andrixu (which u can find in ANDROID ORIGINAL DEVELOPMENT FORUM) then ur both the cameras will work perfectly..

( EverShine ) it's a clone of mmx a110
and i have tested the two boot.img, of Andiroxu and varun, and the same problem remain
i think when modded, this news boot.img contain only driver for mmx a110, not an universal drivers for other clones
which is not the case with the boot.img of the "4.1.x" version
am i the only one facing fc while opening face and voice unlock on legoice canvas 4 r

EverShine would have taken Latest Devices.... Where is the logo of your brand on the Phone??[just asking] as on india....only old phones which came with ICS out of Box is supported by New Kernels... Did you try old kernel by andriroxu??

same, cam not work
i have flashed roms from wiko king, cynus T2, my phone a919 and mmx of course (4.1.x), and all kernels are compatible for EverShine

I am new to this forum so if I make any mistakes , I am sorry.
Now I installed a 4.2 jb rom for my mmx a110 , the rom's name is LegoIce Fusion (the latest one , i don't know the full name) , I installed the BindassBoost Kernel and booted it up but the camera app doesnt seem to work for me. Plzz a little help will be appreciated.
