Please some provide me with the firmware link to downgrade my tab to gb as it is to slow .all the links preasent on the web are not currently workking.even the chinese sight one and tell me is it a good choice to downgrade it

i am new in rooting or customizing roms. my GF gave my lil bro a onda vi10 and my brother is asking me to custom it or speed it up. i've been searching on how to root onda vi10 8 gig.i already tried this (currently i cant post a link hehehe)
and other website it doesnt work it seem i can't put the device to the recovery mode can some 1 help me please?
A root method for onda vi10 elite would also interest me too. I have upgrade to jb 4.1.1 but it is not rooted and the play store is not compatible with many apps anymore........
