Phone died during flashing process and now will not turn on past the galaxy bios screen any solutions???

If you can get into download mode use Odin to flash another rom.

What Exodian said, but make sure you have some charge on the battery first. Else it might happen again.

Try Odining the KC1 ROM posted by RaverX3X if you can get into download mode. That usually clears up all problems.

get a usb jig $6-$8 soft bricks will never be a problem.

Ever have any luck?

[Q] Samsung screen loop.

HELP PLEASE!!!!!! My Samsung infuse 4g is stuck on the samsung screen.. the phone will not reboot into recovery. ive tried the three button trick and i get nothing.. Also when i plug the phone in to charge, the battery screen comes on and its a still photo of the battery being dead no animation.... that little loading circle does not even spin. what do i do? the samsung screen does not ever go away

Hey man hold down both volume buttons and plug in ur usb.... That will get u into download mode... Then u can do gtg's ultimate unbricking method with odin

I thought you have to use 3 finger to get to DL mode? Does this work too? Just curious...

3 finger will not get u to download mode....what he said in post above is correct...vol up..vol down...plug in usb and boom...download mode

3 finger gets you into either 3e recovery or Clockwork mod recovery.... depends on if you have installed clockwork mod on your phone.

Hard bricked my phone help!

I was flashing my phone via Odin and Odin got hanged and I put off my data cable and now my phone is not starting neither download mode nor recovery . What to do plz help!

Which ROM did you flash
If it is stock Samsung ROM then you must have hardbricked your phone. If it is the case you needJTAG to unbrick your phone

Pull the battery out, and put it back in, hold the volume down, and home button and power button at the same time and see if you can boot into download mode because since you didn't flash a bootloader there is no chance that you bricked your phone. Then flash a ROM. To be on the safe side flash a froyo ROM such as purumod

yup always check do the .tar file has boot.bin and sbl.bin ..if yes then there is bootloader and if something went wrong then u may hardbrick the phone...and remember never pull out the usb, or remove battery or try to interrupt the Odin while falshing..if at all anything went wront just reflash the ROM

give a try to force upload while flashing rom
hold home button+vol up+ power
connect usb only when you see the force upload screen
flash the rom.

If you are not able to see boot logo of i5800 then I think you might have burnt out something in your phone and in that case it is not a hard brick

I give my phone to Sam care they refuse to repairs and they are saying to change board.

As far as I know it is impossible to hard brick a phone by using CM9 firmware

Just try repairing it yourself or throw it away. Samsung will just charge you loads of money for no reason.

It its not samsung fault
As all the components are soldered together on the motherboard even failure of a small part in it needs complete replacement of motherboard
Burning out some component in a scenario like this may need complete replacement of the motherboard

Custom boot icon?

Hey guys, I followed the older thread on the original q/a forum but haven't gotten an answer. So I'll post here. Has there been an confirmed way to remove or restore so I get the stock boot img back I'm sick of the open padlock.

Follow those instructions, or get a USB jig off ebay to reset. The jig works on this phone, I used mine to clear that padlock and erase the flash counter.

No flash for jig. You turn off phone, plug into usb and it does its thing automatically.

Like I said, literally turn your phone off, once it's off completely, plug in jig. Jig will turn your phone back on automatically and put it in download mode. It will then erase the flash counter. You'll need to then pull the battery, and when you turn back on, lock will be gone. Good as new.

[Q] Cant enter CWM menu..

My phone can enter cwm just from ROM manager but when i try with hold Power + Volume down + Home botton, it doesnt work..
Need help because i got boot loop, my phone stuck on ROM Logo

Need to know what phone you are running. For the s3 unplug the device hold power+volume up+home. Once it boots let go of the power. You should see blue writing in the top left of the screen. Vol down is for Odin. Hope this helps.

If you can boot into device
Use AnReboot to boot into recovery

Try fastboot again. Pull out battery to power down, and replace it. Press and hold "home" and "power".

dude do it..go to the link i gave you..restore your stock rom first so that u can open ur phone using the link i gave you..root it using ginger break.
then install recovery and it will be okay..
