system status bar won't unhide - Asus Transformer TF700

I use full!screen from the google play store which uses root user to hide the status bar whenever one would like. After I enabled the kill all app when not in use developer option and changing my adw laucher ex to a system app so it wouldn't rload my launcher everytime, my status bar wouldnt show up anymore. I reverted back to adw user app and deselected the same developer option, and reinstalled full!screen multiple times and its still not working. any ideas?

ah! nevermind I fixed it by restoring a systemui titanium backup I had. It didn't work before but fro some reason it worked now

ok nvm its still not working after a restart. and now restoring the same backup I used before doesnt work anymore.any ideas?

Protected app now gone

I used trebuchet's new feature to protect a folder and now I cannot find the messaging app that was in it. It is the default messenger app. I can get to it from the Google launcher but it had disappeared from trebuchet. I unchecked it from the protected apps list also but still cannot find it. Does anybody know how to get those apps back or where to re-enable them? I also tried resetting the locked apps in the settings menu of the protected apps and that did not bring it back either. Other apps that I set to protected did not disappear like the messenger app did. They all showed back up.

Emui 5 app drawer missing

Hi guys I just updated via ota from hi care app to b360 on my frd-l09 and I tried to use the app drawer home style but the app drawer is missing .. The actual space for it in my dock is occupied but I can't press it or find the drawer button in the widgets or something.. Any ideas on how to fix it ?
I assume you already selected the drawer home screen style in the settings menu. Do you use Emui launcher or you use other like Nova. If you use the alternative, try clearing its app data and uninstalling it.
If that does not work I suggest backup everything and factory reset. You can use Hisuite for this so you dont lose your app data. Make sure to not restore any alternative launcher app(Nova, others)

I normally use action launcher but wanted to switch to stock ..does it affect the emui launcher ?
I used Nova myself with pixel style drawer before EMUI ota. It does not affect my EMUI 5 launcher. I havent used Action launcher in a while and i dont know if you use gesture or shortcut for your drawer settings before.
BTW if you factory reset try using Hisuite as i have difficulties getting my phone backup from google in the phone setup menu.
Enable it from homescreen settings

I did enable it from the home screen settings and instead of having an app drawer I got a blank space.. That's the problem
Maybe something went wrong during the upgrade. Restart the phone
If the issue still remain, I will suggest that you factory reset the phone.

Do a factory reset
It is settings. Settings -> Home Screen Style -> select drawer.

Hide time from status bar is possible?

I tried in many ways to disappear the time from the top bar with no results, do you know a way to completely disappear or eliminate the time from the top bar? This above all to show more notifications on the upper bar, thank you.
Would love to know this too!
Unlock System UI Tuner either with a launcher like Nova or a app like short cutter which is great by the way. You should be able to hide anything that shows up in the status bar

I tried this out using the Nova shortcut, however whenever I exit the app, the settings immediately go back to default

Install System UI Tuner from Play Store, give it adb permission and hit the thanks button.

I understand what you're saying, but if it accesses the same system UI tuner built into Android that Nova does, it's not going to change or fix the issue.
When time is removed from the status bar, it comes back on exit. Removing other icons simply doesn't work. Is this the case for others as well?

Try it. Then tell me if it's the same thing.

What's up with the attitude? I tried it, yes it's the same thing, yes it suffers from the same issue. The clock in the status bar always comes back

Notifications won't clear from status bar?

Hi Everyone,
Since the middle of last week I have a number of notifications stuck on the status bar. No matter what I do they won't go away and overlay any new ones making them almost impossible to read. Also the time on the status bar is always 11.09.
When I swipe down none of the apps showing are displayed, so I can't clear them that way. There are 5 apps showing, an alarm, a email alert and 3 game alerts. When I go into any app the bar clears and the time is correct, but as soon as the home screen reloads all the notifications come back.
I've rebooted the phone but they just come back afterwards.
It's vanilla Mix 3, not rooted, nothing new installed running the latest updates.
I really don't want to factory reset and some of the apps take a while to set back up!!!
Anyone have an idea on how the clear this??
Thanks.
Could try some of the options here. https://m.wikihow.com/Clear-Message-Notifications-on-Android
Also could try clearing data on your launcher app.
Some launchers also have a reload built into the launcher settings

Question Most comprehensive way to get my settings and whatnot back after a factory reset?

I've decided I rly don't want the nav bar. I prefer the Samsung three button swipe up method. How much of my current setup can I get back should I unlock the bootloader to root and therefore factory reset my device?
...Unless there's an option to hide the nav bar without root
Thank you.
For me, factory resetting really isn't all that bad. Been doing roms since 2011, so starting fresh is a reoccurring thing for me.
My important photos/videos are backed up through Google Photos while my SMS/MMS are backed up through SMS Backup and Restore. Everything else, pretty much just login through apps with a password manager. System settings, I go through one-by-one and set them up every single time, but that only takes but so long.
Maybe someone could add some stuff that requires manually backing up those apps specifically?

Going to see how this works, give me one sec. Not sure how it works on the latest Android, but it can achieve what you're looking for.
Vivid Navigation Gestures - Apps on Google Play
Fluid navigation gestures for all of us!

Edit: No go. Dug up the article and now it seems like your only option will be to root, unless someone knows something more.
Google confirms overscan is gone in Android 11, crippling third-party gesture apps
Google has confirmed that overscan is not present in Android 11. This change will cripple third-party navigation gesture apps and others.

vivid navigation gestures paired with aospmods is the only way to hide the navigation bar. afaik the setting to hide the navbar within vivid NG doesn't work. need root
I could be completely wrong with what you are after regarding the swipe options, but try this for the 3 button navigation. (Translated from Dutch, so menu might look a little bit different)
Settings > System > gestures > system navigation
Here you can disable the swipe, and enable the 3 buttons option.
I'm using the Xposed Edge app to hide the navigation pill. I also have the None Display Cutout module installed which, in conjunction with the Xposed Edge app, I can toggle the Status bar too.
