[Q] CWM Recovery Loop after TMobile OTA update - T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide

Last night I made the mistake of downloading an OTA software update from TMobile on my rooted LG Mytouch C800. When the phone reset to install the update, it instead loaded into ClockworkMod Recovery, which I am now stuck in. Here is what I have tried:
-In CWM: factory reset, cleared cache, Dalvik, etc, Installing custom ROM (CM 9). Always loads back into CWM.
-Using LG Software Update tool, I attempted to flash newest firmware (KDZ) only to receive the error "PHONE WAS NOT FOUND!"
Any help is greatly appreciated.

[Q] Question regarding the stock firmware on LG Optimus L7

I have flashed my Optimus L7 numerous times now and after flashing the official stock v20D firmware my phone is stuck on the boot logo.
Question 1:
What is the proper way to return to a stock firmware? Do I have to do a factory reset before flashing the stock firmware or after flashing it? What else is needed to completely restore my phone back to the original firmware?
I know how to flash, I am asking this because I'm not sure what other procedures are needed to clean my phone and return it to its original state.
I've had CM10, PAC and various other ROMs on my phone, but currently I'm stuck on boot screen after flashing the original firmware (this has happened before).
Question 2:
What difference is there between a factory reset from the settings menu and the wipe data/factory reset option in the CWM recovery menu? I no longer have CWM now, because I've flashed the original firmware, but neither can I access the phone menus to do a factory reset.
Question 3:
I'd like to reflash my phone properly this time and restore it to its factory condition and clean everything, so maybe the settings in the KDZ program have something to do with it? If yes, then what mode should I choose (DIAG or EMERGENCY)?
Thanks.

Tried to inställning CM - stuck at boot (n8020)

Hi. Yesterday I succesdfully rooted my n8020 (galaxy note 10.1 LTE Swedish). Tho, when I tried to flash Sbiddens modded CM version, it failed. I wiped data/facto ry reset from CWM, wiped cache and Dalvik. Flashed CM and Gapps. Rebooted, only to get stuck at the blue-ring Cyanogenmod boot screen. Tried to redo all the steps in different orders, no succcess. Stillvstuck at boot.
Then came the puzzling part. I downloaded the original firmware from sammobile.com, and flashed it via Odin. It succeeded, bit whenbit booted in back to the standard rom, all my applications and all the data was intact! As I sevetal times wiped data/factory reset, I assumed thatevwrything would be gonw and that I'd have to install everythingnfrom scratch. Am I correct in assuming this, and may this be related to CM getting stuck at boot? Any hel greatly appreciated!

I have seen something similar when I installed Cyanogenmod on a kindle fire, I had to do a factory reset after restoring back to stock firmware.
I would suggest that you try doing a factory reset after restoring factory firmware on your GNote.
Success with Philz recovery
Had the same problem loading onto my N8020.
In the end I used a different recovery and it worked first go.
Try using Phils recovery http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2202714

[Q] com.android.provision has stopped?

So I've been running Graviton 2.0 on my Nexus 5 for a few months and recently I've tried upgrading to 2.6. Problem is, when I install the updated rom, I get the "Unfortunately, com.android.provision has stopped" error message loop times infinity. I tried installing 2.6 by booting into recovery mode and installing the zip using CWM. I then wiped the cache and the Dalvik. I've also tried doing a factory reset prior to the previously mentioned steps and that hasn't worked either. Any help would be much appreciated thank you.

If it we`re me, i would flash the factory image in fastboot, reroot and start over. Or do you have a working stored recovery to flash back to?

I've been able to recover back to Graviton 2.0 after each unsuccessful attempt through the restore function in CWM.

[Completed] optimus net (p690) won`t start

Hi guys, could you help find a right thread for my problem?
Yesterday my optimus got restarted and won't start anymore. I can get to the recovery menu (Android System Recovery (3e)), I performed both factory reset and wipe cache partition but after reset it still hangs on the LG logo.
Phone is rooted but that`s pretty much it.
Is there a way i can flash a new rom (don`t care if custom or stock)?
thanks a bunch

Hi,
I don't understand why you had wipe your cache partition ?
But it's not the real problem.
So you can try this => LG Optimus Net unofficial thread
and this => [HOWTO] Flash DOWNLOAD firmware on P690
Thanks to my colleague @It_ler for this link

[Q] Bootloop after flashing stock ROM via Odin. I think I've tried everything.

The Wifi on my phone wasn't turning on, even after factory reset, so I reflashed stock ROM via Odin (v3.07)
I got stuck in a bootloop, and after factory reset via the stock recovery + wipe of cache partition, it was still stuck.
I then re-flashed the stock ROM. Still stuck.
Tried using Kies 3, with the firmware upgrade and installation tab. Said something about not supporting my phone when I was prompted to plug it in. (SM-G355H; Samsung Galaxy Core II Duos)
I then found an unofficial version of CWM v6 for my phone (there's no official support), and quickly flashed that (via Odin 3.09; which is what I use from this point on), forgetting that my phone was no longer rooted. I wiped davlik cache and data. Still stuck. Then I rooted my phone. Stuck.
Then I reflashed stock ROM (this time, I downloaded from another website) (to test my luck, I tried seeing if simply a factory reset and cache wipe would work. It did not) rooted my phone, and flashed CWM. Wiped davlik cache. Still stuck.
By the way, when I wipe davlik cache it says:
Warning: no file_contexts
E:unknown volume for path [/sd-ext]
Davlik Cache wiped.
Any ideas on what to do now? I can't send it to a manufacturer / repair store where I live. I'm thinking maybe I should untick Auto Reboot and/or F. Reset Time when flashing, use an earlier version of Odin or the ROM itself, or maybe there is something I can do with ADB? I'm not very familiar with it, but I'm more than willing to learn. I just need some direction...
Update: Flashed with Auto Reboot unticked. Still in bootloop.
Flashed with same ROM, different country. Still in bootloop.
Alright, I fixed it by using Kies, via firmware upgrade and installation. You have to ignore where it says that your device is not supported, and just leave it to download. If you get stuck on the setup screen like I did, try cache wipe + factory reset. If it doesn't work flash an earlier version of the firmware. You might be using the wrong region (It's not always your country), use Kies to check. When it tells you what pda/ modem / csc it wants to update the region will be in parentheses ( eg ACR). Use all of them possible
