Without the second thought go for xperia if u are nt worried about a 5 inch big screen form factor. Faster and better functionality.

Bear in mind you're asking this on XDA which is an Android (and Windows) development site. You're going to get answers biased in favour of the Xperia because most people on here love Android and hate iOS. To be honest though nobody can decide for you, there are far too many factors to take into account. It would be like asking someone 'what's the best colour' and expecting them to give you a definite answer.
Dont think much dude,close ur eyes and buy the xperia z mobile.
Go for comparing on mobile websites and see difference,.
any noob will not think about any mobile while thinking of xperia Z.
So buy Z and show ur richness...

For me I will skip Xperia Neo n Ray( I bought a Neo V but now a bit regret)
Xperia U got the largest user accessible memory which allow u to install a lot of apps compared to others phone( but sad with its smallest screen)(+maybe upgradeable to jelly bean!)
I tried Galaxy W n found out it is really smooth( unfortunately no ICS)
Xperia Arc S is my choice because it's large screen,perfect design,high performance processor.

For me xperia ray is the best,coz has more developers than others. Its screen is crystal clear.arc s is Also a good phone..
hi , i have finally saved enough money to buy unlocked either xperia z or galaxy s4 , i have researched on gsm arena, cnet etc websites and all of them say the galaxy s4 has some good hardware and features and xperia z has awesome design but less features , i currently want the phone with the most developer support for custom roms and stuff , the problem is the galaxy s4's variant with quadcore is available here , can any person who has used both phones recommend which one is better ? no fanboyism please thanks :highfive:

Water proof so u don't have to worry abt rains or toilets or tubs
Regarding s4 octa core...
Poor developer support... No sources... And belive me 8cores dun work SIMULTANEOUSLY
regarding quad core variant... A bit similar to xperia z ... And again snapdragon so MAY get good support...

I bought the Arc s as in my opinion its the most stylish phone and good specs for my needs.
I was going to upgrade to the Z but it does not have a removable battery.
What happens if it freezes

Well with 13mp camera & 1920*1080 screen resolution u should obviously go with Xperia Z. But like u said its second hand please make sure it free from scratches and working properly.

If you want quick Android OS updates and vanilla user interface and lots of custom ROM development projects at XDA, then Nexus 4. But I've heard if the phone heats up regularly there is possible chance to get the backside cracked as its made of glass. Just enquire about it before purchasing.
Xperia Z has a good screen, good quality camera, nice UI, and also has the option for microSD card slot. And it also has great development support here at XDA. But only chose it, if the phone is in good state without any hardware faults or screen faults.

The Z3 is an incremental change from the Z2 when it comes to specs, and has a physical redesign. Compared to the Xperia Z though, it's a much better phone. Better camera, much better specs, far better screen (IPS LCD vs TFT). The Z is still a very capable phone though, so it's up to you if you actually need the upgrade or not.

HI, I wanted to buy z3c but somehow I got an A4 compact accidentally ( I will receive my phone in a week) , any A4 compact users please guide me.
whether it is better than Z3c or worse?
what feature does Z3C have which are not in A4?
any other disadvantages?
Another problem I am having is that there are no popular and detail reviews on internet, didn't find any place where its actual specs are given so if you guys know any link, kindly share. Thanks

I already saw this, this Z4 Compact is the canccelled one. the Z4C I am talking is the japanese version popularly known as SO-04g / Xperia A4
