Info: I'm currently running EOS Nightly 155, based on Android 4.1.2. The version of Google search that I have is 2.0.0.392829. Any time I attempt to update the app via the play store, it closes as soon as I attempt to open it.
Anyone have a fix for this? Thanks in advance.

I need help guys. At first im on cm9 3.4 + air kernel. And my android market successfully updated to Google Play. And because i am trying out other good rom+kernel combos, i have reflashed my phone and now it is on fresh clean cm9 + matrix kernel. But suddenly my market wont update to Google play. Ive tried to clear data of market but still no luck. I even downloaded the apk of Google play but it says "application not installed". Is there any fix for it??

Has anyone got Google Now running on the RAZR i on 4.04?
I have tried various methods including that new gnow installer but no luck, I know my busy box is not running properly but I can't get it to install properly with init.d but I have read a few people have had these issues?
Any luck??

i have it running without voice....forget about that
google now
This apk here works but you will not get all the latest updates as google now is for jelly bean and voice search wont work but I'm trying a work around for that.
to install this first make a copy of the google search in system app and place it some where
On you're sdcard then using a root tool delete google search in system app then reboot phone
Before you install this version if you don't it won't work enjoy
Thanks so much!

I've done a search on the fourms to find the answer, but I still can't, so here it goes....Have been using the nightlies since the 4th of December, daily updating with new nightlies. Here's the deal....I updated with 1/4/13 now none of my google services work. Play store and gmail won't open, just keep FC. I cleared all the google apps data/cache and still no-go. So I did a complete clean and install with the orginial rom I installed (12/4/12) to make sure Play store worked, which it did. Next I installed the 1/4/13 updated but got the FC on Play Store and gmail again. I also installed the JB gapps apk separately. Anyone else have this problem?
Did you use the actual gapps version of 12-12-12? Works like a charm for me with cm 10.1 (1-4-13).

Everytime I activate Google Now it get's stuck on the "initializing". Any thoughts on why this might be? I'm running the latest stock JB, rooted, with Nova Launcher. I'm using the Google Play version of Google Now.

hi,
I just unroot my xoom to stock android 4.0.4 using official rom, at first, it has previous Google play version which works without problem. But then, it was upgraded to latest version google play store which only worked in 'tall position', but it will crash when i rotated my xoom to wide position.
thanks for any help..
I solved this problem by requesting directly for mz601 stock rom from Motorola support. The first stock rom which cause the problem was obtained from a thread in xda forum...probably smthing wrong with the from.
Thanks
