Settings > Applications > move to SD, by defauft you can set in CM settings.
Use App2SD
Use AppMgr III previously known as App2SD, search Google Play for it. Pretty cool app.
Other option is, partition your SD Card and install app there using Link2SD as App2SD won't move all the apps and their data to memory card. However, formatting SD Card and using Link2SD to install all apps to the newly-partitioned SD card is a different story altogether.

So, we need to root first?
dont work
Re
nop nop work "AppMgr III (not pro)"
I'm going to try of partition as you say the "SD Card". Then, it can be simple with an app as "gl to sd" ... to mount partition/s of the inserted sd.
But before, since is the well-read one of @kakolin (in.htcmania) I will try with "Directory Bind" (com.vanpit.android.directorybind id in store). Probably it isn't necessary to make partition.
Greetings

I recently installed this ROM and i have to say its very good! but theres this wired problem. I used titanium backup to restore some of my apps. i also downloaded some apps from the market. for apps that i restored, most of them i used link2sd to link to sd card but some (not all) of the apps that i downloaded via market are unlinkable via link2sd and it says there "on sd card" instead of the usual "linked to sd card". i used root explorer and found out that these apps were located in "/mnt/asec". while those linked with link2sd were linked elsewhere (eg:apk:"data/app", dalvik cache:"data/dalvik-cache/[email protected]@@[email protected]", lib:"data/data/com.something/lib/") why is this so?
any help would be appreciated!!
Those apps are using native froyo apps2sd. You should be able to go to Manage applications & move them to internal memory (assuming you have enough internal memory) & then use link2sd.
Thx for replying!! I had a suspicion that it was native froyo app2sd but now I'm sure!! Btw it doesn't require an extra partition rite? So it is just being moved to my main fat32 partition of the SD card rite? Thx for answering my noob qn!!

Yes, native froyo apps2sd apps are stored on the main fat32 in the .androidsecure folder.
This phone came with 2.3 (gingerbread) but on every app I've downloaded even apps that ive moved to an sd card on my old epic 4g, dont let me.It seems like it would be auto installed there because when i go to application management and pick an app the button "move to internal memory" is greyed out. But I'm getting a low phone storage warning, but I have a 4gig sd card. I have obtained root. Is there anyway to move apps to sd with this phone?
Anyone?
hey
use link2sd

Link2sd doesn't work with this phone. When you have an sd card properly partitioned, it uses the smaller of the 2 partitions for both 1st and 2nd partition. Would like to figure out how to get it working...

My phone,Samsung Galaxy Mini GT-S5570 is telling me that it's internal memory is almost full but there is still 18.29MB.
Why is this happening,Is there any solution???
Having only 18.29Mb left does sound "almost full".
Move some apps to SD and free the space.
life!
Still a nooby i dont know how to move apps to sd can u please guide me,and if i move apps to sd is it risky in any ways
You can do it easily with app like App2SD (You can find it in store).
It is safe and quite easy.
Use search in Play store, i cannot post it in here.
You can use Link2SD - its an app to move other apps between SD and internal memory - it can use internal App2SD method or you can create ext2/3/4 partition on the SD card and use it as expand to internal memory. Nice and easy to use app.
Use ext partition. Use link2sd or S2E
Just search for a tutorial in google. Is a good way to devices low-end
Sorry for bad english!
I think its not necessary.... Galaxy Mini comes with Android 2.2 froyo by default. If ur running any Android OS after Froyo or still on it, then,
Go to Settings > Applications > (choose the one that's too big in size) > If it supports moving to SD Card option would be present there to move it ...just click it...
Do for other apps if necessary..
Hope it helped

No prob thanks lot
+1 for link2sd, but it requires rooting. I'm using it too on a similar low end android phone(the 5570i variant). But I recommend the ext2 filesystem for the sd card's second partition. It's the best for that purpose. But if you dont want to root, there is still the builtin moving to sd card option in application preferences.
Hi. How i can move and store my aps to the sd card. Not to the internal storage or phone memory. If i use the aps2sd and i choose move to the storage, it moves the apk to internal storage, not to sd. Why? Any solution pls? Thanks

Use the app Link2SD from play store. Requires root. And also a 2nd partition on your SD card to store apps.
There are many tools which can help you partition your SD card but to on the safe side, backup your SD card data beforehand.
Just go through the description of Link2SD on the play store. It should make things easier
But if i dont want to root the xperia?

The easiest way to partition an sd card is via clockworkmod. Advanced/partition sdcard. And choose what sixze of partition you want. This formats the sd though so backup first.

If you want to move apps without rooting, check out this post. It should help
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1162757
But there are some limitations when you don't root. But if you root, you can also get rid of unimportant system apps & bloatware!
Plus rooting is very simple these days thanks to one click rooting apps & brilliant devs!
Choice is yours

Not sure the if the procedure mentioned in the link above works on ICS/JB.
Is there any app that can move installed apps into memory card(extSdCard)? I tried appmgr III and Links2SD but they dont work.I want more free space in internal memory

1) wrong thread
2)many apps comes with an option to b transferred to ext sd card, whereas some don't ... It completely depends on developer..
Incase u r not rooted,u can only shift those apps to extsd which comes with an option to do so(also note that widgets won't work if app is installed on extsd),to do so go to settings - app manager - on sd card, then check all the apps that don't have a tick next to them, they can be moved
incase u r rooted,u can force any app to sd card, try force2sd or similar app from play store

Don't bother forcing apps to SD just use folder mount and mount the data/odd folder to the SD card keeps apk where it should be and moves large files to SD card mounting the folder to it's original position works well bit slow for me as I'm on an older 32gb memory card I'm upgrading to the sandisk extreme plus 64gb card ordering tomorrow anyway my point being internal SD quick standard SD slow make sure you have a fast enough card or you will get long loading times and possible lag
