Look for a app on the market about secret menu or dial codes..
that looks like a info window set to on.... My guess is you were messing with the 3g radio settings causing it.. So explain more about how it showed up .

It Looks Like Factory Mode. Do A Search, I'm Sure I've Seen Others With this Problem But Didn't See How Or If It Got Fixed.

If you have no EFS backup then nothing you can do yourself you need a service centre .
You cannot use another EFS only the original .

I was running XXKPQ with the Phosgenmod flashed on it, everything was working fine and i switched my phone on to airplane mode for a while and after that it just wont connect to any network carrier,and the phone will not show the imei number or the baseband, now i am recovering from a Major fracture on my left arm caused due to a bike accident so i am unable to search for solutions as well as before, so i sent the phone to the samsung service centre for a quick solution , however they said that the only solution is that the motherboard will have to be replaced for 6000 rupees(60 dollars) which sounds ridiculous,bought back the phone did a complete wipe and flashed xxkpq, followed some guides such ashttp://http://forum.xda-developers.com/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=1366 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1261948, but i am still unable get a signal, any advice will really be helpful , thanks
If you backed up your efs folder, you can get it back. If not, I don't think its possible. Buy a new phone if you find no solution

Yes, is the "efs" drawer backup the solution..... in that drawer are stored all that you before mentioned..... sorry for you!!!

I think u are from India. So simple solution is that before u going to samsung service center flash ur phone with ddkp1 or ddkp2 firmware & after going to service center tell them that while updating to latest ddkp3 over kies (dont tell about odin) phone suddenly stopped working & now there is no signal (dont tell them that imei has vanished). Tell them to flash latest firmware correctly so that u will get a working phone with signal problem solved. It will take u max 1000 Rs

@luiseteyo i backed up the efs folder to my sd card and whn i delete the root efs folder and restart my phone i do not find the "nv_data.bin" and"nv_data.bin.md5 which you have asked to delete, what could be the problem?

No not yet. I am still a newb. I'm having trouble because I didnt back up my 2.2 froyo. Then I factory reset everything, cache, dalvik etc. Now I have no imei. I live in the U.S.

try updating latest firmware using kdz. search in xda for how to

Buddy there is no nv file in that zip. it contains only 2 *.xml file and one *.ini file.
Please upload again...

I was trying to change the OS, But there was a problem, phone is bricked and only boot that is the recovery mode..
I've tried wiping data and wiping cache in cwm, But i had no luck with it..
I tried Rebooting my phone, but it just goes to the recovery mode, I'm feeling helpless
I request you to please help me out, and also i want you to tell me how to change the IMEI number of my "Galaxy Core i8262"
I've tried various methods for doing it, but i had no luck..
Please post some working method from which i can change the IMEI number, and fix the problem.

I wanted to change my IMEI number, because i purchased this phone from a guy, and i think this is a stolen phone, and i'm not able to find that guy now.
That is why i wanted to Change the IMEI number, and also make sure no one traces it back and i want to be 100% secure.

Its over now bro you cannot change your IMEI no now actlly it is alloted to each phone at the time of manufacture and now u cannot change it .....

hi ive found out what it is, its a new security feature called 'Reactivation Lock' ive bought this phone from a secondhand shop so i dont know the original owners details

i imagine at this point you should get it into download mode and flash the latest version for THAT device only.

i have same problem...and i also flash 4 file for g900f..but still same page after activation...i don't use a pit file for flash...do you think if i do so...it would help?
