i have the same problem, so i asked Alejandrissimo he said that i should reunlock simlock and it costs 10$.

I flashed stock ROM's some times and simlock file was ignored but my phone worked and works.
Why lock yourself to one carrier when your phone can work on many ?
Simlock as I think has nothing to do with your problem.

Relock your bootloader and flash that you want...
Sent from my Xperia Tipo using xda app-developers app

check proper baseband is installed......

Unlocking the Simlock
Hello everyone, After attempting to upgrade Gingerbread to ICS on my Xperia Play I used the Testpoint to unblock the bootloader..it turns out that it is now bricked...brilliant of me, I know..using the testpoint it did allow me to use the S1tool and it finds it, however it says that it gives me the Not recognized simlock certificate error message. I used the Sony Bootloader unlock page and ran it with fastboot and it tells me that the phone is already unlocked and using *#*#7378423#*#* it says the bootloader unlock YES... I have already tried flashing the OS, it says that it´s done it but it ignores the simlock.ta and it still wont boot. All I get is a brief vibration and no led. I managed to install the ADB drivers and could enter Fastboot mode, I flashed the kernel and it recognizes it when I open Flashboot but still no boot. What can I do??
In this thread named "simlock.ta problem ignored by flashtool" it says that Mr Alejandrissimo told someone how to unlock it for 10.00, I´m not sure if that may be the solution. Can someone tell me please how to contact him so I can get that information? I´m really lost here I would definitely appreciate the help.
Thank you for your time and I apologize for the long message, I just wanted to provide as much information as I could.

Solution
Brother Flash this file it solve your problem your device will alive
but other sim problem I don't know
I have same problem......
Good Luck.........!

It's completely normal for the flashtool to ignore the "simlock.ta". Now when you search in the service menu you have the possibility to unlock your bootloader "bootloader unlock YES". When you do it it's going to be: "bootloader unlocked YES".
You must put the device in fastboot mode by pressing the volume down button then connecting the micro USB to your phone (the USB part should already be in). Then you have a blue led notification. try using adb and search for this file "twrp2.4.3-mint" in the forum. extract the boot.img then flash it using fastboot flash boot boot.img (do a little search how to do it manually). Now you should have the touch version of
TWRP recovery. Put the zip image of any ROM on a sim card then use the TWRP to flash it and get you phone running fingers-crossed.
For the SIM card, i did have another pb related to the SIM card holder pins (contact pbs)...
Anyway, good luck.

Thank You

Emma also shows that the phone is locked!

Unfortunately no,
It seems that the developers who already know the solution prefer to watch us!
Also I didnt have a good response from Sony Service!
The only way that I didnt try is to send your phone to the Sony repair center.

I ALSO HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY XPERIA V T25I
I just updated my Xperia V to latest android 4.3 via flashtool.
log file said
This file is ignored : simlock.ta

[Resolved] [Q] Xperia Ray OTA Brick Problem

My phone bricked after OTA. I checked all tutorials but whenever i try to flash ftf files, flashtool is keeping to say open debugging.
Before trying flashtool i flashed it several times with wotanserver.
Please help me.
Did you try to repair it using PC Companion?
This will do a clean flash with a complete original Image.
Thanks for your help i fixed it with flashtool
USB Connection constantly up and down
Hi guys,
I made an OTA update to my xperia Ray ST18 because the guy that sold me the phone didn't warn me it has been unlocked. Now it's dead!
I'm really desperate.
I tried Sony Update Tool to try to flash the new ROM. It detects the phone and says it has flashed OK. Then I disconnect the cable and try to turn on the phone but it doesn't start.
The only response I get when I try to restart the phone is a short vibration but the phone still doesn't start.
I don't know if it's normal but when I put the phone to charge there's no light turning on. Is it normal?
I'm also trying to flash with Flashtool but the phone now keeps loosing USB connection.
Any tips would be highly appreciated.

Hi,
Normaly is Sony Ericsson Update Service (SEUS) the best Way
to repair your Phone.
If the Phone loos USB-Connection, check USB (ADB+SDK) Driver
or install new.
Maybe a other Way is "S1tool" it´s a small and crippled subset of SETOOL2 service tool.
Install it, all USB Driver inside.
Shut down your Virusprogram an startet it.
Press the Restore Button in S1
Bring Phone in Fastboot
(Loudness Button UP and USB Connect, you see blue Light on the Home Button)
Wait arround 5 Second..... Finsh
I had the same Problem about flash on my Ray.
The Phone was dead, only the Vibration works on started.
If i press the Start-Botton again, the Home-Botton-Light flash,
that´s was all.
New flashing with SEUS brought no success
S1 is also a good Tool for easy "unblock Bootloader in 10 Second"
And the CyanogenMod 7.20
(original update-cm-7.2.0-RC1-urushi-signed)
ist the best Firmware for the Ray.
Absolut fast, so overclocking ca do.
My Ray works with 1,6 GHz without Probs.
All what you need find it here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1444841
FOR THE FUTURE, NO OTA UPDATE IF BOOTLOADER IS OPEN - THE FIRMWARE IS THEN BLOCKED FOR OTA
Greeting Onex1
Don't know if anyone can help me in my situation but I have a major problem arising from an OTA update too, my phone just refuses to read my SIM card. In fact, it doesn't even ask me for my PIN number, it just boots as normal but I have no connection to any network. I've tried using the SIM card in another phone and it works fine, therefore the problem is with the phone itself.
I'd recently had my phone network & bootloader unlocked by wotanserver using the test point method - because of this I thought the DRM keys would be fine (e.g. TrackId & Timescape still worked). However, when I was updating OTA my phone bricked!
So, I searched high and low for a solution and ended up using s1tool to restore the locked bootloader. Then I used flashtool to flash a stock ICS ftf file. It seemed to work (the phone rebooted) but it was then I noticed that the SIM card wasn't being recognised. Also, in the Flashtool log I noticed that a blue line was there saying 'this file is ignored simlock.ta'.
I've tried everything I can think of to fix this.. Hard resets, updating with Sony Update Service but nothing works. There's just so much conflicting info out there that I'm really confused at this stage. I have a perfectly good phone in that everything works bar the SIM and I'd hate to have to buy another one!
Any suggestions anyone or is my phone screwed for good? :/

i tried it too, same thing happened, don't panic though! there is a way to fix it.
get flashtool and the stock .FTF file of your phone, open flashtool, choose flash (the thunder icon) and choose flash mode.
then select your .ftf file on the left side and on the right side UNMARK "Wipe data, cache" (make sure you unmark them both so you get your phone back exactly the way it was)
below the wipe options, on "Exclude" MARK "System" (again, this is so you get your phone back exactly as it was)
then just flash (double check if wipe data and cache are unmarked and exclude system is marked) and done, your phone will be exactly where it left off
what is the reason of this happening?
The App flashed an unsecure boot.img, Please take note It will brick any phone if it is made after August 2012 and I think Tipo was made somewhere around September, besides it worked for my[cousin's Xperia Neo V
thank you now my phone can be booted. but still i cannot unlock my bootloader. can u suggest anything..?
the thing about it is, it actually DID flash the kernel even though the bootloader is locked on my Xperia E and took it into a bootloop, im wondering if there's anything we can learn from that app or maybe modify it to flash a different kernel that will actually boot?

Oops... I am so sorry! It is indeed for the S1 .
Just search for a tutorial by using: ''androxyde's flashtool tutorial''.
You will probably find a tutorial for Flashtool, and how to unlock the bootloader with it!
Cheerios, and my apologies!
thanks to all. I've unlocked my phone!
Same problem.
How did you unlocked??
First, I use the official method by sonyerricson site. I retyped the code they e-mailed me. FAILED
Then, I just COPY AND PASTE the code they sent, and it works! simple as that!

How to install Android with LB

Hi guys,
I think I messed up my phone big time. I had problems with turning on wlan, so I tried Rebooting and Factory Reset but without success. Next I wanted to reinstall android via TWRP like I would do it with my PC. Now I have a Phone with an empty internal SD Card, locked bootloader and no idea how to fix it.
The PC Companion or any other program does not recognize my phone.
Is there any way to install Android again with a locked bootloader or can I unlock the bootloader without android?
Hopefully anyone knows a solution and I do not need to buy a new phone.
Thanks in advance!

i cannot enter flashmode via android obviously and via the volume button is not working, the led does not flash and flashtool is not recognizing the phone when i try it
Plug it into a wall charger for 24 hours and then try again.
Also, sone information from your device manager in your pc may help and what scaly you flashed in recovery to get into this situation. Its very difgicult to offer advice on such limited information.
Problem is fixed, i got a new mainboard ...

Bootloader : (remote: Command did not succeed)

Hi guys, so I got a problem recently, after i startt my phone (like 30 s or 1 min after) the touchscreen stop working, i mean i can still change the volume, watch the video going on but i can't do nothing. So I tried to take off the tap wake up thing, the lockscreen but still nothing, I did a whole reset and nothing. So I decided to just redo everthing, install a new kernel and rom. I'm trying to take off the bootloader so i can install these but it appears that i can't. I already did all the steps : getting the code, usb debbuging, fastboot, installing drivers [S011 right?] but everytime i try to do it with the cmd it tells me that it failed for some reason. Trying with fastboots tells me i can't unlock it officially. So i'm really lost about what i missed or what i need to do.
Thanks for the help guys
I experienced the same problem. Managed to unlock it via the flashtool method, but then I'm unable to flash a kernel, it also says "remote : command did not succeed".
Booted the device, the camera shows only a blank screen, tested it on service test, still, shows nothing.
Relocked it, then the camera starts to work again.
I'm going to try to unlock on Win XP vm this weekend, I'll update to you if I succeed.

I had a Japanese version of the Z3 (SO-01G docomo) which bootloader unfortunately is not unlockable.
Most likely you have a Japanese Z3 as well.
I was stuck with stock-based ROMs. And some ROM wouldn't boot at all.

NO SIM card detected on D2302 on any Custom ROM,Urgent help needed

Hello Xperia M2 dual D2302 users and rest of the dev's,
Right now i ran out of all options after spending huge amount of time in browsing threads.
Problem definition:
wifi works, bluetooth works but no SIM detected. NO IMEI found either.
I was on 18.6.A.0.182 ,did bootlocker unlock via Fastboot and then used eagle root to root device.Installed TWRP,CWM,Phil recoveries .Currently i'm on TWRP.
able to fastboot able to enter recovery ,able to flash different ROMs available in forum.
Biggest issue apart from SIM undetection is NOT ABLE to enter FLASHMODE using latest flashtool. tried installing drivers many times and tried to enter flashmode.
when I start flashtool and load a ftf then click flash ,Volume- doesnt take me to flashmmode , i see that GREEN LED blinks for sec and then disappears ,flashtool keeps waiting while i get attached errors.
not sure where im doing wrong but this phone is crucial for me right now.
i bought this device in india and right now using in US.
i tried booting s/w's without SIMs as well.
can you guys please help me?
Below are the ROMs and recoveries tried,
1.cm-11-20141030-UNOFFICIAL-eagle
2.cm-12-20150322-UNOFFICIAL-eagle
3.cm-13.0-20161117-UNOFFICIAL-eagle

7.Slim-eagle-5.1.1.custom.2-UNOFFICIAL-20151118-0020
8.Z5-STYLE-4.6-eagle
and i have tried CWM ,TWRP,PHil recoveries.
Please help me.
Sorry.Post removed
You should try to restore stock ROM and if it won't work, then you should send it to service repair.
As i understand...restoring means using flashtool? if so my phone doesnt get into flashmode..any idea how to restore?
If you can't get into flashmode then you really should send it to service repair.
hello @tromine thanks for your suggestion.
i have one question related to "flashmode" drivers.
when you press vol-down button and connecting USB after that, should the flashtool installs flashmode drivers for D2302?
can you suggest me what should appear in device manager (see pic 2).
im using windows 10 home 64-bit OS and X64-bit processor PC.
can you please suggest.
Summary : I was able to restore the device.
How: I found that bcoz of 3rd party USB cable i wasn't able to get into flash mode(though fastboot,USB data transfer work using 3rd party cable).
Very importantly in my case .......This ROM FIUI-2.5-UNOFFICIAL-eagle saved me somehow by giving me IMEI number and SIMs were working. later using flashtool i did flash having right ftf. i guess i lost IMEI , signal by flashing wrong ROMs(mine was D2302 eagle-ds Indian version)
Now I'm able to fully restore the device with all functionalities working as usual, I'm so relieved now.
I felt like a noob and a geek at the same time lol.
Thanks for all devs who created all those wonderful tools.
OP: please close this thread.
Glad to see that you solved your problem
Hi! Im facing the exact same prob with my xperia m2 dual (d2302).
No sim card is detected but everything else is working on stock rom. I tried flashing FIUI as you said above but am still unable get any signal on either of my sim cards. Please help, Thanks!

Google Xperia m2 drivers, you need additional drivers (you can find them on Sony mobile) to flash M2. Green led also blik and disappear for me but Flashtool tell me that phone is connected in Flashmode.
Good Luck!
