[Q] Stock P999 stuck in boot loop, has never been rooted, please help! - T-Mobile LG G2x

Someone I know with a Optimus 2X from Wind Mobile has told me that his phone is stuck in a boot loop for some reason. He's never rooted his phone, never tried clockworkmod and rom manager, and he's currently using the stock 2.2 froyo from when he got the phone. He's had the phone since 2011, and has never made any upgrades or modifications to it.
Removing and replacing the battery does nothing, and same for when he connects it to his computer by USB.
Does anyone have a solution? It seems to me that this is a very uncommon case.

[Q] help with non rooted g2x stuck s/w screen

tried to installl update via lg tool g2x is stuck in s/w screen and im not rooted
I unrooted my phone and did stock NV Flash to make sure the phone rooted correctly. Sadly, the tool crashed at 4% and gave me the S/W screen. Already called to get phone on Monday. I would still like this to get fixed incase I decide to upgrade my new phone. Good luck to you man.
thanks so there is no way of leaving that screen not even re installing froyo ?

[Q] Problem flashing ROM in Mac OS Boot Camp? Flash hangs midway, soft bricked.

Booted into Windows on a Macbook.
Downloaded the droid root charge kit stickied in this forum.
Installed the samsung drivers. Loaded Odin.
Flashed the voodoo kernel in seconds, no problem.
Then, when I try to flash a ROM, it gets about 75% done, either hanging during the systemfs.rfs phase, or all the way up to movin???.dll (i don't recall the exact name). The phone says, "RX_TIMEOUT". It never gets past this point.
I've tried flashing back to factory stock, using both Odin and the samsung flasher, loading up the PIN and stock EE4. Same thing. Hangs at 9%. Sometimes just crashes and says 'Error, download cancel'.
I'm waiting for my wife to come home, since she has a PC laptop. I'm really, really hoping I just need to flash it from an actual Windows machine.
Stuck with a soft bricked phone. I've tried everything possible to flash back to factory (or anything, for that matter), but it's always the same. Hangs halfway through. Can someone please assist me?

[Q] Lg optimus 2x bricked, please help

Hello,
After I tried to upgrade to gingerbread 2.3.4 on my G2x, the process just stopped at the upgrade point, at 4%. It said I should remove the battery and put it again. After several times trying to make it work, I thought that the drivers were the problem (It said that it couldn't connect with the cellphone), but it wasn't that. Because the screen is still on "S/W Upgrade", I just removed the battery, until I find a solution, but I think that my case wasn't posted. I brought it from Wind Mobile Canada, but I flashed it to GB T-Mobile. I want to get it back to normal, even if I get back to Froyo.
Please help me to solve my problem.
Thanks in advance.

[Q] boot loop issue

Hello, I recently downloaded ROMToolbox and changed the boot animation for my phone. I downloaded the dancing banana(lol) but when i restarted my phone it got stuck on the screen displaying the model number and is vibrating as if something is force closing. My phone is a Samsung Conquer 4g SPH-D600. It is running on stock rom. I've heard about using RSDlite, but I am not sure if it is compatible with my phone. If it is compatible with my phone could someone please tell me how to use it. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Flashing Rom ends up in Loop

Hi was wondering if anyone could help me. I rooted my friends phone awhile back and it was all fine and hunky dorry until he fudged up. I guess he got a new phone so he tried to give the Optimus V to his son but he did a factory reset from the settings menu you. No the phone won't do anything. Try to power it on but it just shows the first LG logo then off again. If I plug the phone in CWM comes up but I've tried installing a new rom but it winds up doing the same thing. Also I can't get it to show up in adb or fastboot.
