Model is changed by ro.product.model=HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio Z715e
You cant change the phone number easily without actually hardcoding a value into settings.apk and HTC Sense version is either set internally by settings.apk or by ro.build.sense.version=3.6

There will be a method in the smali code that finds the HTC Sense version and then displays it - it doesn't seem to find it from the build.prop string though so you can't set it from the build.prop anymore.

Does any one knows or have the Phone.apk where the dancing droid is enabled?
The dancing droid is: wen ever you get a call from a number that you do not have in your contact list, instead of having the default still android pic, you'll get the dancing droid.
I've decompiled phone.apk, and every one has in the res\raw folder the mp4 vid of the dancing droid, so I believe that we must just enable it in some way.
If any1 can help me with that Id be very appreciated.

its on coredroid i tried the apk on my tmous de-odex stock rom but no go, in fact the dancing android i believe is in all roms it have to be enable to use it some how i have the mp4 in my phone apk but cant enable it

The bad news is, that I've tried several ways to change the CallCard.smali and I still haven't reach to a workable phone.apk.

I managed to have the dancing droid enabled, but the phone.apk was always crashing.
I've also talked with several diferent "devs" that didnt want to help, only SEO help'ed me a bit, my thanks to him.
my mothers glacier with synergy rom has this... i have the phone.apk i dont think it would work on our sensation though would it?

insertcoin for desire had this but not in the sensation version sadly
however, with this (on the desire) it made me have to pattern unlock to hang up on people.

If you mean that when you compile the .smali then...
Compile it as usual, remove classes.dex from said apk
Go to original deodexed apk
drag and drop the modded classes.dex into the original apk
Reboot and wipe dalvik.
It should recollect certs on the apk if you run a logcat and keep a beady eye

Didn't work on ARHD 4.1.3, it must have changed how it works with 3.5 Sense ROM's. Shame that.
I am sure many have noticed that since the leaked 3.24 ROMs, the interface has been somewhat of a mixture between HTC Green & ICS Blue. I have noticied that many of the .png in the Framework-res.apk in the newer ROMs have "holo" in their names (for example "btn_check_on_focused_holo_dark"). So I checked for the same files in 3.12 ROMs, & the same file is present, but is in HTC Green instead of ICS Blue as found in 3.24/25 ROMs.
So, I tried copying ALL .png images from 3.12 "framework-res.apk\res\drawable-hdpi\" to 3.25.
The problem is, my Sensation is away for repair due to random reboots (hardware related) so I am not able to test this! So for anyone who would like to test, it is attached, made with stock battery percentage with UOT kitchen.
Now this a TEST. I did NOT test it! make sure to backup first! Best "failsafe" mode, is to have any flashable battery mod for your ROM ready to be flashed back in case this does not work.
Edit: I made one more "framework-res.apk" with the HTC Green colors attached to OP, but without the battery mods. (this is the apk only, NOT flashable) for anyone who wants to use for their own customizations!
Edit2: [31Jan] Added modded IC 4.4.8 Framework-res.apk - (Flashable through recovery). Note that the one with percentage "%" also has ICS animation. These are the two framework-res.apk that are included with Incertcoin 4.4.8 update. I just added the .png with the Green Holo from the older 3.12.

Yes. It is flashable through recovery. Should work on any 3.24/3.25 based ROM.

The bottom button that's pressed is green instead of blue basically.
this needs updating for the framework-res.apk with Advanced Power Menu because it currently breaks the APM

Unfortunantly, that is beyond my knowledge & time!!!
I tried to extract from a Rom, Sense 4.0, the HTC Lava live wallpaper. Using root I copied the explorer sister and I set the permissions giust, I rebooted the phone, and its launch the live wallpaper was installed, but if you put as a background, an error appeared, and the default background of sense 3.6 appared ... can someone help me install this live wallpaper, or it could make for a ported on sense 3.6?

I have just decompiled the Apex Launcher APK, and I would like to change the Homescreen Settings to display the wallpaper as a "Single screen non-scrolling"
Does anyone know which XML file this would be under? And what values should I change to make this happen?

I have found that the Scrolling Settings for Android are within the Workspace.smali file.
Does anyone know exactly what line of code would need to be changed? There is over 19,000 lines in this file, so anyone that has experiance in this would be amazing, thanks. My only goal is to have the OS start with "Single screen non-scrolling" enabled instead of the "Multi screen scrolling" that is enabled by default.
Ok, so I have uploaded a copy of the Workspace.smali I am working with. I have found references at line 4201, 16220, and 18887 that deal with scrolling and wallpaper dimensions. Could someone look over this and let me know if any of these line are able to be modified to change the scrolling? Thanks.
Apex launcher has this in setting to change wallpaper mode. Why are you trying to modify apk then? Just trying to understand your purpose.

Because I am developing a ROM, and I am trying to learn how to modify smali files to control certain parts of the system, so that I can have preset settings already activated as soon as a ROM is flashed.

It'll be easier for you if you just compiled it from source. It'll also be easier to locate the needed line that would need to be changed.

Back when I had my HTC EVO 4G on Sprint I used something that I was able to edit apk's and change colors on some parts of the apk's then reflash that apk. I don't remember what is was. Is this possible on the HTC One M8? I think it was apktool. Is that right?

Use apk multi tool just google for it
Once you get it set up you will need to install the correct framework if you will be working with sense.

Should be something like this:
apktool if framework-res.apk
You'll want to have the framework red from whatever ROM you are worming with in the root of the apktool folder
