HTC camera program development

Hi all,
I'm a professional in image processing for automatic identification.
I'd like to run on my own kaiser a particular program developed for realtime systems able to identify particular shapes on images.
I understand it is not allowed to access to full camera capabilities and resolutions due the unavailable of specific api knoledge and documentation.
I found something inside...but I have to spend a lot of time to complete the api. Are there someone with api interface specifications?
thanks
Francesco

[Q] System fonts and support for localization

Hello everyone,
I'm a Unity developer, usually my work includes working in Unity3D and compiling for android/iOS/etc..
Using Google's in app billing plugin, I need to support multiple languages, in order to support all currency types (some in foreign languages).
Now, within Unity I use Arial unicode, that supports all the symbols I need, but my question is the effects of running on android.
Do android's OS contain Arial Unicode? can it support it? Does android's system font contain's all the symbols for currencies?
I hope the question is clear, sadly my android development knowledge is lacking.
Any help will be greatly appreciated
The official Android font is Droid Sans. You can find the full character set here: http://www.ascenderfonts.com/font/droid-sans-pro.aspx#charset
As for what is included on the devices aside from that, I do not know. (I'm a designer, not a developer)

[Q] Possible to create android rom that functions like a desktop environment

Hello XDA,
I'm in the process of creating a custom rom, which is a brand new experience for me, but I don't quite know the limitations of Android yet. I am aware of Xposed modules providing a similar experience to a desktop, but I'm curious if it is possible to develop an Android rom where these features are provided natively (IE windows, persistent launcher, etc)
My goal is to create an android look and function more like Ubuntu, without having to use a chroot method, install modules, or install Ubuntu touch. Would it be possible to completely redesign Androids interface to achieve something like this?
