Can someone tell me which numbers and where exactly to edit in hidden menu to increase the earpiece for a 30% aproximately? It's getting so annoying that the volume is so low on maximum. When i'm on the street i barely hear the other person talking.

Audiopolicy manager force closes (i use ICS v28b) But i managed to increase the volume a bit. Thanks. Gonna post a screenshot later how i did it incase anyone needs it.

Please show it quickly because I have that issue too. I think so Music is much quieter when listening with headphones.
Go to hidden menu. (In dialer type 3845#*920#) device test/sound test/ Audio CAL tool/set volume and make sure everything looks like this than press ok.

Is there any other way to get into hidden menu? I type these numbers in dialer, but nothing happens. I also tried 3845#*760* but it didn't work.

When i put theese values and then i press ok and then i go another time in menu the valies are changed back to standard values

Ok so if I go to settings>call settings>other settings/phone settings, it says default mesg etc. What exactly is that for and how does it work?

I'm pretty sure it's designed to send a caller a txt and reject their call. I just made a few test calls from another phone to mine with the screen locked/off and unlocked/on and I do not see the option. Perhaps it's another missing feature or it needs to be enabled somewhere?
EDIT: Apparently it's supposed to be automatic. See this thread as well: http://forums.androidcentral.com/t-mobile-htc-sensation/94296-text-message-after-rejected-call.html
I just tried and no text was sent.
Maybe it's for while you are on a call already? I don't know how to make it work either. Sucks that they put things on the phone that have to be unlocked ie screen shots , this feature ...

Just an update, if I hit the menu button during an incoming call the option to send a message appears. I wasn't able to edit it. I'm on htclays superlite so I don't know what effect that has on the functionality of this feature.

I recently flashed infinity and since then whenever I get a text the message flashes on the screen no matter what app I'm in. It also reads the text out loud if my media volume is up. I don't know if this came with the from or if I changed some settings unknowingly. Has anyone else had this happen?
Check settings-> Accessibility.

Nope accessibility is off and it says I don't have any accessibility apps.
Wipe and reflash. This should solve the issue. Are u using titanium backup?
Sent from my Google Nexus S using XDA App
Have you checked the settings in the messaging app itself?
@vabeach is that an Initial D profile picture?
Sent from my SCH-I510 using xda premium
yes I'm using titanium. And it happened on the 12/04 infinity and after I wiped and flashed the 12/11 infinity. The messaging app itself is just the stock one and I couldn't see any settings about text to voice or anything. Hmm mind boggling.
There's a Text-to-Speech menu under settings as well. Might want to check there.
I have the Paranoid Android ROM and have my on screen touch keys on and set up. How would I turn the hardware ones off?
Thanks.

In ParanoidAndroid settings there should be an option to turn them off. Maybe in the hybrid settings?

You can use button remapper. Set all actions to "focus". But i suggest doing a nandroid backup because when you enable them again you lose vibrate on press.
Edit: Uploaded to dropbox just in case anyone else wants it. Download here

Couldn't care less about vibrate on press. I get a 404 on your APK link, but I found the original link. THANKS, works like a charm.

I keep getting a maps not responding error if I am using the navigation app and while I'm in it, change my destination or hit the start button. I know the obvious answer is well don't change your destination but if I accidentally hit back I have to select the start button again. It also only seems to happen when I'm traveling. FYI I'm on carbon ROM but I don't think that is the issue. Any suggestions?

Have you tried accessing the application settings and clearing it. Maybe uninstalling and then installing it back. If you use waze or another navigation app does it do the same thing. I myself have switched to copilot as my main navigation app now. Yes it costs but well worth it.

I'm not sure what's going on but I can't get vibration off with sound on when SMS comes in via Hangouts..
The most obvious culprit is in the Hangouts settings themselves.. under the SMS section it clearly says vibrate..
Which I have unchecked.. & rechecked to uncheck again...
It's not helping
I didn't see anything in Sound settings that looked helpful.. or G3TweakBox..
That's just me though..
Any advice ?
Maybe look under the Sound system setting?
