1.3ghz

More than that I had mine up to 1.4GHz without messing with the voltage. You gotta wait for an EXT file system change. THat will get your scores to normal.
I just hit 1084 benchmark score with tegrak OC'd to 1.3ghz and running the Bali Kernel (drhonk). Anything else I can do to get it.better?

Just curious why it's soo important for you to get a high quadrant score?
I didn't even OC and I scored 1040.
With OC 1.3ghz and wifi on I got 1282 set with on demand on SetCPU. With SetCPU set to performance got 1321.
You can try closing apps before testing. Oh yeah and I'm running Bali 1.4UV
Don't really care about quadrant scores as long as my phone is running smooth, but that's just me.
I just wanna see how high I can push the score

Using tegrak, mostly stable, voltage at 1350
Undervolted 800,400,200 by 25
Use set cpu to on demand w/ screen off profile at 400/200 ondemand
I got 1.4 too. And damn we need the vibrant file system fix.

Hey xda people, i wanted to ask what is live OC?How does it work ,is it any better than simple OC? Please, tell me as much as you can, i'd be greatful!

Bump

As far as I know, live OC is just another cpu governor. I prefer to use setcpu. Or oc daemon from energy ROMS.

Supposedly quad core exynos @ 1.5ghz or so, 2gbs of ram, 4.6-4.7in amoled screen @ 720p, 12mp camera and 1080p recording

Yup plenty of rumor threads. Search.
Anybody know what ways i can do this? Like apps, strategies, or roms that boost performance
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda app-developers app
Ice Cream Sandwich rom's boost performance, if you overclock you can set it 1200 MHz and put performance.
Anything else? Because i don't really know what I'm doing when i overclock :/

Are you on ics?
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda app-developers app
Yea, beam
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda app-developers app
Just go to settings-rom control-performance
Change from 1000 to 1200.
You are now overclocked which will boost performance. I also changed my governor from the same screen to smartassv2

Qualcomm. But the threads about Best apps, processors etc are not allowed. What is considered as best for you, might not be the best for other users. Change your threads title and the OP's content, otherwise a Forum Moderator will close your thread as soon as he finds it.

I choose MTK for the price, about performance i'll choose snapdragon for sure

Best of what? Price, ease of developing custom roms and kernel for, performance, battery life, features? Terrible question.

Just prefer Qualcomm devices instead of Broadcom ones. Qualcomm is open source and more ROMS are supporfed for these devices.

snapdragon
Snapdragon is better in high-end market, but Mediatek is cheap in price.I like the cheaper
