Post your CID here

I'm looking to get a collection of CID codes for the sensation. Most of us know the supercid code, but some would like to change the CID to something else. For example an unbranded version. I personally looking for the CID for an unbranded sensation as its supplied in the UK.
But if you could post your CID and what branding and software version you have I will compile it into a list.
You can get your CID by downloading terminal emulator from the market and running

getprop ro.cid
You do not need root or s-off to do this.
My Vodafone UK sensation for example is VODAP001

UK unbranded sensation is
HTC__001
Note there are two underscores, and the whole CID is 8 characters in length.
Also, CID codes tend to remain the same even for different HTC devices (in case you were curious)
e.g. my Desire HD was also HTC__001
I believe there was already a list of some kind released for the Desire HD, and since CID codes tend to remain the same you could probably use that list for the Sensation.
Also, all HTC RUUs contain a list of compatible CIDs, so you could also roughly tell from there which CID belongs to your phone

SuperCID allows you to flash Roms from other Areas besides your without any questions or problems
Tmobile US users can flash EU roms and unbrand their devices
I personally flashed a Tmous rom just to make sure SuperCID worked and it did.

well err i personally didnt have the guts to flash roms other than asian brand ? coz i hate my phone to be bricked... but i use custom rom android revolutionary.... =D anyway thanks for explaining it to me !

Any side-effects for a US tmobile user flashing the euro ruu? I like the idea of bloat free instead of just freezing half my apps, lol.

According to the list of CID's, Your Unit is Asian version.
I wonder if you super CID your device, what happens when you check for software updates? How will it recognize what brand device you have. I too have super CID my device

What is the latest rom for returning phone for warranty? I have a Vodafone Netherlands branded sensation but I can't find the stock rom anywhere. Or can I pick the latest Eu Rom?
I have dust in my screen so I have to return my phone for warranty.

EU rom wont do ...(if you flash it version number changes and they will recognize you tried custom roms and all)
find the correct VODAFONE NETHERLANDS ROM
(need not be the latest ..but the correct one would do )
for finding the correct one and flashing it

Ok, thanks for the answer. Do you know wich version is shiped in the Netherlands? I only see Vodafone UK, Germany, France and Italy.

most probably vodafone UK
the best way to check that is ..verify your cid against the ones present in android-info.txt file from the extracted rom.zip file (check the same guide on extracting rom.zip from RUU)

Who knows the CID for Vodafone Netherlands. My phone is CID 11111111 so this brings me nowhere...
Edit: I was looking for a CID list and couldn't find it until after this post... CID is VODAPE17

The UK version has VODAP001. Going to download the other versions now...

Stock Rom Flashable Zips for those who want to use AAHK (Advanced Ace Hack Kit)

As you probably know Attn1 left this community and continued developing
his AAHK (Advanced Ace Hack Kit).
Lately he announced that the tool is retired for some reasons:

So you shouldn't worry if the downloaded file is not correct.

The hack kit is totally unsupported use at your own risk.
I have unlocked & S-offed at least 10 Desire HDs with AAHK without running to a single problem!
I read the manual completely before starting!
I strongly warn you to check both your volume up and volume down keys before
using AAHK. If they don't work then don't mess with your phone. A safer way would be unlocking
the phone bootloader with HTC Dev and installing TWRP or another Touch recovery and then
proceed with AAHK. This way at least you can put the phone in recovery/fastboot via commands

No doubt a lot of people have been hoping that someone would post links to the 9 ROMs used by the hack kit, however some words of warning: I was one of the lucky ones that successfully used the hack kit before it was retired. I saved the PM98IMG-GB2 that it downloaded in case I needed it again. Out of curiosity I downloaded your PM98ING-GB2 and found it did NOT match mine. File dates were all different, one enclosed image file was a different size. Importantly the android-info-txt file in each zip archive was very different.

Thank you very much for sharing your concerns with us.
I must say two things:
1. It took me about 4 hours to find GB2 to s-off a friend's htc desire hd...
I assure you that the file that I posted as a GB2 is absolutely correct
2.The AAHK itself check the files and if it is not the one it is looking for
it prompts a ridiculous error. I guess it checks the file in case of bad download
or damaged file.
This is the provided error message if the file is not correct:
Woah dude[tte] - bogus md5sum! Bad mojo.... no file to flash
So you should not worry about wrong files.
Everybody ... just let me know if the files didn't work and remember to try it several time... because
for me it took 2 or 3 attempts so the program found out about the existence of the file in the directory.
It by mistake wrote the downloaded file with a 0kb file!

Right i have the RUU's now thanks to Phoenix-Lead. Just need to put them in the correct places and set it up for being wget'd. I also have a few .exe that needs to be unruu'd as well.
Might to the same with the latest versions too just incase people want to S-On back to stock after.

Also hrkh83, its AAHK was retired because people didn't read the manual and it was causing issues.

Forgot to mention There is a script in the works that will gain S-Off coming out soon thats fully automated just like AAHK but doesn't flash Hboot just recovery and the radio that the exploit takes place at.

from your hboot version your device is pyramid LE(which means sensation XE)
but i want to ask you something first
do you want a official ics ruu or to flash a rom from recovery?
because if you want to flash a rom you need to get rooted first

with ruu you don't need to unlock the bootloader
just run the ruu.exe from pc(connected the device via usb from bootloader) or you can do this way
unlock the bootloader
flash a custom recovery
install the rooted stock ics rom which has arabic language i think

then try the ruu in my post #4 of this thread
if it doesn't work then use the other ruu you mentioned but you have to add the cid->HTC_J15
