Ads are back - Motorola Atrix 2

Notice now that I have ads on the xda app even with ad away and ad block. Also weather bug, any solution? Or is this because of pulling the apps from Play?

Just to advise, if the game has to be paid for, they will not be allowed to post the apk here. Its not a problem if its a free game...

Netflix is not a paid app its a subscription. XDA does not allow allow pirating software. There are paid Apps on XDA like setcpu but those are dev endorsed.

Those dont look like very good site IMO (besides appbrain).
But I cannot believe you never heard of the Amazon App Store! The reason why AT&T finally allowed sideloading, free app of the day, and simply the only thing close to the Play Store. Check it out man!

PlayStore message

Hu is this meessage really from PlayStore ?
Sent from my SM-N9005 using xda app-developers app
I don't think so.....it's probably from the app you just installed.
This message seems to pop up every time I install an app from PlayStore. I also have a Norton Mobile subscription, but norton does not allert me.

Interesting. I do not have this, so it seems some app is doing this. Maybe run logcat to see if anything is broadcasted when you have installed an app?

xda annoying ads

It constantly redirects me to page with "low memory error" suggesting installing Trojan.
Please fix thit, it's super annoying
The XDA app displays ads? Then install AdAway (Rooted Device Needed) and install the ad-blocking hosts file.

Download adaway apps on google,or you can download Xda premium,i never got an ads since use xda premium
Sent from my N986 using xda premium
There aren't any adblocking apps on the Google Play, but you can find the APK file. About XDA, the premium app offers new features including no ads.

get root and block the ads with rom toolbox...
xda uses a service to deliver the ads, sometimes they deliver intrusive or spammy ads by "accident". You can report any particularly annoying ads in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1696660

AdAway or AdFree or Adblock Plus is the solution. I recommend AdAway.
