I am a newbie to this world but please can you help me here.. my friend updated my SAMSUNG GALAXY SL I9003 with ROM MIUI-2.4.20, GB 2.3.7, Kernel 2.6.35.7-CL615624. CM9.. The interface is aweosme but the video recording is not working.. .. Can you please help me with this bug and if its not possible than can you please help me with a stable ROM??

actaully am not much into all this.. sorry.. but yea in "About Phone" its MIUI 2.4.20..
I9000XXJVU_I9000OXAJVU_OXA_2.. this thing i need to download and use it in CWM..
Never. That rom is for i9000 not i9003. And cm9 (ics) has some bugs. And we have to flash fw's in Odin not cmw.

hey bro i m new to xda .. i dont even know how to post my problem and where to post so i am posting here ... well can any 1 help me in rooting my canvas 2 jb 4.1.1 ... i know u can definetly bring me out of dis trouble ... i hav been trying since feb 2012 nd still not rooted .. even used sp flash tool bt here also .. unsuccessful .... please help me yaar i cn evn pay money fr tht ... i knw all of u dnt wrk here fr people to recieve any kind of payment but bro it will be just a way of thanking you ... please any guru over here help me to root my device please .. my email ....... First of all install proper drivers for canvas 2 in your pc.
Pls use this thread to install proper drivers --->CLICK HERE TO GO TO THAT THREAD.
Then after installing the drivers,sp flash tools will detect your phone when connected.
so then use THIS THREAD HERE to root your phone.
Also pls post any queries and doubts in relevant thread. Like if you face any problem while installing drivers then pls ask in that drivers thread.

Actually framaroot works fine with both boromir and faramir* so u can go for it.u dont need pc or drivers. Jst an apk to install dats it so for beginners it would be easy
