Google doesn’t have plans to merge its mobile operating system, Android, with its desktop operating system Chrome OS, the company’s chairman Eric Schmidt recently said. There has long been rampant speculation that Google has plans to combine the two operating systems, especially as Android becomes more powerful.
Schmidt did suggest that the two will continue to share features, however. That’s no surprise, especially considering new applications such as Google Keep, which allow you to keep notes in sync across various devices. Chrome OS also provides quick access to Google Drive, Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs and other applications, all of which are available on Android.
The comments were made while Eric Schmidt was visiting India, where he also shot down rumors that he plans to sell off his ownership in Google and leave the firm entirely. “Google is my home,” he told*Reuters.

Got my hands on this it's so cool. If I had root I'd post a dump
Have you rooted the device? I have been using INQ Cloud Touch now for two months and would like to have the device rooted.
Other experiences: Wifi driver is really bad and insensitive. It can't find networks that for example iPad can. Asked it from support and they just said that it's cheap phone so you can't really expect working wifi...

A fantastic application has made its way onto the Play Store that will enable Android tablet users to produce some serious work while still being mobile. With CloudOn, you can access three of the major cloud storage services like Dropbox, Box, and Google Drive. Once connected to your online storage, you can then create/edit Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents from anywhere you have an internet connection.
The application doesn’t stop there – with built in Adobe Reader, you can essentially open any type of file for viewing including PNGs, GIFs, and even PDFs. It’s a fantastic mobile tool that almost all Android tablet users should think about picking up. Starting today, you can give it a go in the Play Store for free.

There is a few apps on the Google Play Store right now that have some SkyDrive integration, there isn't a Microsoft delivered solution available. At least not yet. Source : AndroidCentral
Microsoft took the time to go ahead and update folks on their SkyDrive happenings and mobile applications were a part of those announcements with an Android version officially announced as coming:
Today, as part of making sure SkyDrive is available to all Windows customers, we’re excited to announce that an official SkyDrive app for Android phones will be available in just a few weeks. The Android app is similar to our mobile apps for Windows Phone and iOS and allows you to browse your SkyDrive, upload files to SkyDrive, as well as share SkyDrive files with “Send a link.” You'll also be able to open SkyDrive files from other apps, as well as upload, save, and share to SkyDrive from other apps.
If you're invested into the Microsoft way, it'll be great to finally have an official app for Android. We'll let you all know when it pops up for availability. Other news from Microsoft today may help some developers out there, they've gone ahead and changed some of the API's available. If you're looking to make your own SkyDrive app, something to look into.

Nokia (!) provides a new interesting Launcher for us!
Nokia says:
Z Launcher is the fastest way to access everything on your phone. Throughout the day, the app dynamically changes your homescreen to present the right apps, contacts and websites based on how you use your phone. The more you use it the better it gets. Our scribble feature ensures you’re always only one-second away from everything.
The app is currently in a pre-beta testing program for a limited time.
Why the hell do they do it?
"We are creating a more personalized and contextual mobile experience. By working hand-in-hand with you, your devices, apps, features and content, we’re making your phone more useful for real life."
Well, sure.
