Looking for wakelocks I saw one marked on an app that's just called "UID" but I have no idea what that is. Anyone knows what this thing is or how I can find out?

I noticed when browsing the XDA forum via web browser, that when I tap the screen and hold, there is ever a slight shift in color tones. When I let go the color returns to normal. (I'm sure its on other sites as well that aren't on a white background). Has anyone else noticed this?
You can test by browsing XDA, going into a post, zooming in, and tap and hold around someone's avatar. Usually the icons around the avatar will become more pronounced when tapping, and look at the color of the background.
This might be a normal thing, but would love for someone else to test it and report back on it via their Sensation.
Last thing I want to do is bring this one back and swap.
I noticed it when I was choosing apps from my home screen.

Do you notice it browsing XDA? But not via the XDA app. Tapping and letting go?

i noticed it on the browser too on xda site, not tired any other site. but i think it could be software, maybe hardware but most likely software, anyone else got anything on this?
I just noticed also on the stock News app. White background, but when scrolling background turns just slightly pink. When done scrolling background goes back to white. Could be the app, but would appreciate if anyone could try that as well!
Yeah I noticed it on the xda app

I would upload a pic,but shootme won't work for obvious reasons. Is there any other app I could use that doesn't require root?

Okay I just downloaded XDA premium and XDA free on both devices and checked many other apps and the browser on both mine and my wifes sensation and here is what I found,I was able to replicate the issue on both phones only in the XDA premium app
And I did NOT find this to be an issue and could NOT replicate it in any app nor the browser and also not in the XDA free app.Cheers

Without a battery installed, the phone will do nothing whatsoever. That is normal behavior.

Can someone explain this to me? Restarted my phone because the browser was glitching and it dropped (the battery) so I looked at what was eating it and saw this...? What is it / what happened?

It's a calibration issue will fix itself after a cycle or two.

Just an inconsistency of how the battery voltage or % battery was being measured by the phone, and not an issue with the battery itself. I've seen this on my phone too (although usually not so drastic). I wouldn't worry about it.
I had as similar issue, except my phone shut off completely and it was idle. Calibration issue? I nearly missed work because of this.
Hi, I noticed settings>devotions>animations that I used to be able to play with these options, but now find myself unable to. The enable button is non functional. Why would it let me do this before, but not now? Running vanilla 1.85 unrooted, unmodified except a couple bloats disabled (only stuff like MOG and attNav).
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
It looks like that button can be toggled, but it can't.

Mine is clickable and on by default.

Uh, yeah. Have tried finding other options and things, it's just an inaccessible button for some reason, but it wasn't always like that.
Check in the display settings. You can disable it from there as well. If its disabled in the display settings you can't access it in the developer settings.
I have noticed there are no auto focus setting at all in my One S completely stock no root at all. T-Mobile USA am I the only one? I installed the latest OTA by the way
