[RECOVERY] CWM for Micromax A121 / Cherry Mobile Omega Icon

ClockWorkMod recovery version 6.0.5.0*, using Cyanogenmod 11 source, ported for Cherry Mobile Omega Icon (aka Micromax A121).
DOWNLOAD:
recovery_CWM_h700.img
SOURCES:
Device tree: https://github.com/arvinquilao/android_device_cti_h700/tree/cm-11.0
Flashable via fastboot or adb (dd command). Make sure you have a backup stock recovery in case CWM fails to work. You can also use Flashify to install the img file, it's available at the Play Store. Another alternative is Universal AIO flasher.
To test via fastboot: "fastboot boot recovery_CWM_h700.img"
To install via fastboot: "fastboot flash recovery recovery_CWM_h700.img"
Feel free to comment if you encounter issues with this CWM port.

Thanks so much, buddy. Awesome work, these recoveries (TWRP and CWM) of yours.
Now digging through your device tree, trying to get a grab on how to compile this stuff by myself.

Too bad ROMs for this are few and far behind; it would've been golden if someone's up to the task of porting CM10.1 or 11 for this. Thanks for the CWM though, that'll be much appreciated.

[Completed] Recovery Permission Error

Hi @all
i have successfully compiled twrp recovery from source with ubifs support for my device & i can do backup with it & all other features but i am not able to restore those backup whenever i try to restore the backup the the system gets formatted but the recovery can't write or make directory inside system or data folders with "mkdir(): Permission denied" error & even with root shell a can't make folders inside /system or /data when they r mounted & i don't have any clue why this is happening cause i am building from source for the first time so am new to it
Please if anyone can help me with this
my device is mt6571 with ubifs system

-This is a recovery flashable zip.
what it does..?
-It ports the recovery of other mtk device to your mtk device and flashes on the go.
How to use..?
- Extract this zip
- Replace recovery.img by any of your choice(may b of any other devices also)
- Repack it
- And flash it from a working stable recovery.
- Thats all done,If the porting is success,u will b booted into new recovery
what if i lost my recovery in doing this..?
- Dont worry
Old recovery is backed up to internal storage
flash /sdcard/recovery-old.img using flashify

-No,Works with most of the mtk devices and most of the mtk recoveries(currently supports ramdisk in gz compression only)
#NOTE: This is only to taste new recoveries,it may contain issues.If u want to customise or stabilise recovery u can port or compile urself?
