Hi!
I've been mooching about this fine forum a few months now, and was wondering if anybody else has had the same idea that i have? I'd like a music player or small sub program that would use the TTS on my i8160 to read out the file name of what ever music track is starting to play on my device. Now i've searched the web and found just one other post over on phandroid forums asking this very question. I've also downloaded and put about 4 hours in on Tasker where i came to the conclusion that to do it on that i would need to set a seperate task for each one of my music files. not good.
So i put it to you, have you had such desires? Do you know someone that has? And did any of you find a solution?

I know there is a way to change the pictures to open up to htc album but I was wondering if there was a way to change the music tab to open S2P?
Try searching the Development & Hacking thread via the search.. if nothing comes up make a [REQ] Thread because im sure a lot of people would like to see this function
Friends,
I have just installed the new official ATT HTC ROM (5.11.502.2 WWE) and have been having some issues. I thought a lot of people might benefit from having a recent thread just to talk about these.
My current question is this: I have always been able to use MP3 and WMA files as ringtones on WM devices (HTC or other) and even on the original Fuze stock ROM from ATT. However, the new ROM seems to have shut out this capability. When I paste these files into the "rings" subfolder of the "Windows" folder, they still don't show up in the list in the phone rings menu, or in Contacts under the ring tones. They always have before, with no modification at all. Has ATT/HTC blocked this feature to sell more ringtones? If so, does anyone know a way to work around this block? Is there a registry setting that could open this up again? Thanks for your help. And please consider this thread an appropriate place to discuss any issue related to the new ROM release.
use the search function on this particular forum. There are plenty of answers already that addressed your current problem.

Thanks, but I just search this forum using "Ring tones" and came up with nothing but my post. I found a lot of other posts about the general issue in a variety of phones, have tried all of those suggestions, none work. So I would still appreciate specific help related to what has been changed in the new ROM.
I searched "ATT rom update ringtone"
and I got 3 threads that all link to the same issue.

don't search just the word ringtone. Your problem is related to the ATT fuze, the updated rom, and ringtones. Use those criterias next time. good luck.
EDIT: on second search on JUST the term "ringtone" brought up all 3 posts that had answers to your problem. Don't look at just the first thread on top. go through the list and they will tell you what the thread's about.
Thanks.
Thanks, I changed the registry entry that limited the size of the file, and the problem is fixed.
I saw an application called TVShows7 before, and couldn't see it any more. What happened?
It is a really nice application
thanks for any information about it!
I use TVShow lite ...from marketplace...
Its a nice app that its also free ..maybe you should try it..
IMO its the best TV app out there
I think these two are different. Tvshows7 is able watch TV shows over internet, not a TV show track.
I used this app, it was awesome but after some time it started returning results for files and programs instead of tv shows....I uninstalled it
Bump!
Also trying to locate the xap, filestube and google turned up nothing but links to the thread here, but it seems to be locked. anyone know why?? curious if anyone has the xap still laying around they might be willing to upload here or rapidshare.

For anyone i've had try it gives a no permission error
Did you download it?
Hi Guys,
Here is a weird requirement. I am able to connect my bluetooth enabled car to my windows mobile phone and play music from mobile phone. everything is perfect here. But when I play Video files, Audio output is coming from my phone instead of car speakers. Should I change settings ? if its that the way it is..Any alternative idea to play Audio from car speakers and video on mobile?
Hope my questions is clear
I searched for this before opening a new thread.
What specific device? Custom ROM or stock? Unlocked level?
You can enable this with a registry edit, and it is mentioned many times in XDA so i'm not sure what exactly you searched for but you can enable it with a tool like, Advanced Config, but only if you're capable of making registry edits to your device.
If it's not unlocked, you can't enable this, sorry. Try searching the forum again for a more detail specific post, try some words like "bluetooth" and "A2DP" -- I'm pretty sure it's mentioned in the WP7 Registry tweaks thread.. In Dev & Hacking... Good luck.
Thanks for your reply . I searched with thread name itself and couldnt find much. Mine is stock rom with Interop-Unlock (Not sure if the phone is developer unlocked) phone which has access to registry settings. I downloaded WP7 Root Tools app and able to change registry settings .
I will search with the text you mentioned and see how it works.
I think i found it. Below is the link. I did this on my phone and will try and see if its working tomorrow and update here

Its working for me . My problem has been resolved. Please goahead and close this thread.
Hi All.
Recently, I downloaded an app called 'Image & Video Hider'. I have hidden videos using this app and decided I no longer wanted it. I use the Samsung Galaxy S4
The app allowed me to unhide most of the media hidden, but not all. I have been researching online for hours and I am not able to find a solution that works for my problem. The developers website is not valid and I emailed them over a week ago and haven't heard anything. I was on the phone with Google today and there isn't much they could do either.
I was wondering if anyone could help me with unhiding media that still exists. I have tried the command method, and its not working (I may be doing something wrong). I even tried the "unhide" files method using the cpu but that isnt working either. I am sure the app is installed on my device memory but I cannot find anything pertaining to it once I complete a search. Please help me!
