Hello everyone,
I just updated to stock ICS 4.0.4 prerooted on my P920, and I have a kind of a silly question.
Can anyone tell me what that first symbol from the left is supposed to be? It's definitely not clickable and i don't seem to have any background apps running. I checked some of the settings but i can't find what it's related to.
If anyone has any idea I'd appreciate it, I'd like to get rid of that big ugly random square!

Dual line from your network,so u are on line 1.no getting rid of it.
Sent from my LG-P920 using xda app-developers app
Ah, i see. That makes sense. Whenever i boot my phone while on airplane mode it won't appear until i connect on a network.
I have no idea what the use of a dual line is supposed to be though.
Thanks for the info!

First of all: I did not make this myself!
Found this a while ago for the DjDroid Android 2.2 Release packed together with WiFi-N Driver and some other stuff.
I just repacked this, so only the Circle-Battery is installed without the other stuff around.
All Credits to the developer (name not known)!
This should work on odexed and de-odexed ROM's afaik.
Of course, you see the amount of battery remaining in percent in the middle of the circle.
EDIT:
Sorry for the trouble at the moment. Seems like the Update forces you, to reenter the Mobile-Network APN Settings. I will try to fix this

I just installed it though, and I appear to have now lost my HDSPA icon. Instead I get a picture of a phone with 5 bars underneath it?
Hi debug77,
would be helpful, if you could post a screenshot of this. Please let me know, what kind of ROM you got running, perhaps I can help you with another file fitting for your ROM

I am as foreign to making computer animations as Rosanne is to a treadmill. So, I was wondering if it would be impossible to make a boot animation that just looked like a tv turning on, starting with the dot going to the horizontal line expanding to a fuzzy screen, then "changing channels" to the home screen?
Then for the down animation, could it be made to look like the screen breaks and the phone just dies?
Impossible?

That link did not answer his question, unless you meant for him to re-post in that section. I'll try to make something like that, I'm bored at the moment.
EDIT: Spent hours on this, and I cannot get Gimp image editor to do what I want it to do. Sorry...
EDIT2: Got a shutdown

Now that is very cool. Thank you!
The power on screen is easy. The channel changing is the only thing I have a problem with. I don't know what images you want to change from and to. If you sent me some images you want to change, I got an idea of how I will do it.

Is there any guide how to get last tw to i9001?
thanks in advice
As for the shortcuts, you open the appdrawer, press menu, press edit, and then drag what you want in the shortcuts from the apps.
i heard that tw4.5 eats up a lot of memory, is that true?
Thank guys it worked!

Ok, sorry for the stupid question, but I'm about to go buy the Galaxy Note, and while looking at my Galaxy 2 10.1, I can't seem to remember what app created the tray for my apps. Can anyone help me out with this?

Very cool looking
Even I would like one on my Tab.
that's adw launcher ex. That dock gives it away. Always been my favorite looking dock.
10 icons ?
this dock does look awesome!
What are you using for this battery indicator in notification area? Tnx.

Thanks for all the answers. It was the launcher that I got the dock from. I finally got ICS on my tablet, and I though my blue theme would give me the battery, as well as the blue Home, Back, ect icons but it didn't. If I can figure that one out, I'll let you know. If anyone has any ideas, that would help a lot too.
Hi all,
I have to L12, both with B317.
On both of them, in the last weeks, I have started receiving strange notifications apparently from EMUI. Apparently, they want to open some webpage, but I never allowed it to do it. On both phones nothing new has been installed recently and I haven't noticed any strange "activity".
Does anybody know anything about it? Do you know any way to stop them? They are quite annoying... I attach a few screenshots.
Thanks!

Long tap and it should take you to the app making the notification then uninstall or disable

Oh really? Wonderful, I wasn't aware of this function! I will try with the next notification I get and I will let you know. Thanks! :good:
Ok, it looks like the notifications are coming from the Live wallpapers, which seems to be part of the EMUI and it seems it cannot be unistalled.
I don't have this specific application listed in the Notification options, so I cannot block it. Any idea?
Are you rooted? , if so use Ti backup to uninstall/freeze. If not, I think when you click the termina button then disactivate should then be clickable (idk havent tried)
