AW: [App][2.1] AntTek Quick Settings - bring Jelly Bean Quick Setting to Android 2.1+
wow, seems pretty nice and fluid! after a quick first look i'd like to make some suggestions..
1. I'm not able to enable more than 5 rows of toggles, on big screens like the SIII has this would be cool
2. it's difficult to adjust the activation area because it doesn't show for example a bar in shape of the area while customizing - this would make it much easier!
3. Please add an option for custom icons/backgrounds to choose from the gallery (long-press on toggle - change icon)
4. same for the toggle names! im german (sorry for my English btw) and some translations aren't exactly how I'd like them. also if we add custom apps/contacts the names can be irritating or cut of
that's it for now, thank you for this amazing piece to make our phones even more productive, good looking and personal!!

adnote to point 1. I can do this on rom where I can change DPI of screen, but of course it will be usefull to have a chance to choose.
My opinion:
- toggle of 'screen timeout' doesn't work properly. Icon of this toggle is always active and if I've clicked on them I don't know if some happend or not, becouse I don't see any message on screen about the change of 'screen timeout' settings.
- 'autosync' and 'WIFI' icon of toggle is always ACTIVE, regardless on that I've sync turned off. What more, wifi toggle show a medium level of signal, but I have turned off the wifi ...
My idea:
- if you can add a longpress shortcuts on toggle of settings, for example: on "WiFi' icon to by longpress go to wifi settings.
- option to do not close the quick settings list after 1 click on some toggle.
My question is about what You mean under this question in poll : "Do you want more than one quick setting panel?" ??? I don't understand it properly.
By the way, thanks for awesome app which one help me in android 4.0.4 looks like JB congratulations for idea and skill and good luck in programming!

It's somekind of pager in the quick setting panel or different panel when you pull from different place in your screen (say you pull in the middle of the status bar, the setting panel will show, if you pull in the right of the status bar, the favorite apps panel will show). Does it make sense?

[APP][2.3+] Bubble Launcher with PA 3.56+ HALO support

Bubble Launcher 2.6.1 launched here on XDA(free version) and also in play store (payed full version)!
FULL support for PA 3.56+ HALO - apps can be launched in downsized MULTI_WINDOW
Please remind, that Bubble Launcher XDA 2.5+ is a time limited Version (with all functionality of Full Version!) since today!
-The testing time period is 10 days after installation.
If you consider to use the prior version 2.3.1 (WITHOUT TIME LIMIT), I' let let stay a download link in OP for that all the time...
(but in that case you don't get new features from now on...)
Bubble Launcher is an 'always on top' side launcher for Android OS. It can be used on top of every opened app.
The starter halo hotspot is made as floating system window, so it can be on top of everything on screen!
It was made for JB 4.2.2 / 4.3 , but should work on OS versions since 2.3+.
The Launcher comes with a
-standard listview
and
- circle halo knob
for selecting an starting an app.
How to use:
Hotspot -> swipe left -> opens Circle Launcher;
Hotspot -> swipe up -> opens Favorites Panel;
(You have to mark some apps as Favorite in 'Blacklist & Favorites Editor' -> start 'Settings Panel' via Menu Button -> mark some apps as Fav. in most right column checkbox!)
Hotspot -> swipe down -> opens App-List-Launcher;
Short Tap on App in List -> HALO)))-start of app;
Long Tap on App in List -> Fullscreen-start of app:
circle launcher -> circle swipe to outside -> fast release -> HALO)))-start of app;
circle launcher -> circle swipe to outside -> wait a second release -> fullscreen-start of app;
circle launcher -> circle swipe inside Halo-knob -> no app will be startet;
Menu Button Opens 'Settings Panel'
Bubble Launcher supports Halo))) start of apps in MULTI_WINDOW on Paranoid Android 3.56 and above!
And of course you can start apps also in Fullscreen Mode.
On non Paranoid OS the apps will always be started in Fullscreen Mode.
In the full version of Bubble Launcher you can mark any app as blacklisted or favorite.
Blacklisted apps will never be shown in the launcher lists.
Favorite apps are listet on top of standard listview and are the only listed apps in circle launcher mode.
You can test this free XDA version, before purchasing the full version.
the XDA-app-version is full working with the following
limitations:
- blacklisting of apps not active
- Favorites not active
- Themes not active (only Holo Dark is enabled)
All other features are fully working!
No ads!
If you want to uninstall the app, than first go to settings -> security -> device administrators and un-tick the box for Bubble Launcher

HowTo use builtin 'Floating Notifications'
If your device runs Android 4.3 (and only than!), you can use the builtin 'Floating Notifications'. This may be useful, if you want to use your device in full screen mode.
To activate 'Floating Notifications' you have to download and install NLSHelper.apk (see attachments below...).
This APK will be installed as a Bubble Launcher module hidden from Appdrawer/Home Launcher.
After installing this module you have to activate the Notification Access Policy in SETTINGS/SECURITY/NOTIFICATION ACCESS by ticking the checkmark for NLSHelper!
(Bubble Launcher tries to guide you automatically to related Settings Panel after Installing NLSHELPER. If it doesn't happen, please go manually to SETTINGS/SECURITY/NOTIFICATION ACCESS for activating the policy.
If you have completed these steps, Bubble Launcher will intercept incoming notifications from gmail, sms/mms, google+, google search, whatsapp and similar apps.
(Only push notifications, no ongoing notification, will be intercepted!)
When a push notification is received an notify icon will be displayed in Bubble Launcher's Hotspot Bubble and a notifying Label will be displayed near the bubble.
If You Click on the notify icon in bubble, the notify label will be updated and displayed again.
Click onto the label for opening the notifying app.
Swipe from notify icon to down, for updating the push notification queue.
Swipe from notify icon to up, for clearing the push notifications queue.
HowTo use 'Custom Themes'
For trying out custom themes, download customThemeSample.zip (see attached files below).
Unzip this file to your root folder of your devices sdcard. After unzipping you will get two files:
1. old paper blue-16776961.blt
and
2. old paper gray-11446940.blt
(Don't touch the filenames or file name extensions of these two files! - Or the import will fail!)
if they are in the root folder of your devices sdcard, you can open Bubble Launcher's Settings Panel by its the App Icon in Home Launcher.
-Tap on 'Select Custom Theme ' in settings panel.
-Tap in the opening list on 'Import Themes'
- a Toast Message should notifying about successful import...
After that you can Tap on 'Import Themes' again and you can select one of the two freshly imported custom themes.
So you will see what you get...
That's all...
A detailed documentation for 'making your own themes' will follow later here!
HowTo 'Sort App Icons in custom Order'
Since Ver 2.0 of Bubble Launcher you can change the order of App' Icons in the Favorite Panel View.
To change sort order - open Favorite Panel by the related swipe action (i.e. swipe from Hotspot to left).
On the bottom of panel you find a Label called 'SORT ICONS'. - Tap on that - All Icons will begin wobbling...
Single Tap on an icon, that should be going to new position - the Icon's background color should change to orange color.
Now tap on an Icon at the position, where you want to get your 'marked app icon' - the order should be changed now!
If you finished sorting, tap again on 'SORT ICONS'.
The new sort order will be saved and used in Favorites Panel, Favorites List (and in Circle Launcher View, if you use full version of Bubble Launcher).
HowTo 'Use Custom Icons From Free Icon Packs'
Since Ver 2.0 of Bubble Launcher you can use free ADW-compatible icon packs to select single custom icons per app in Bubble launcher.
There are many free ADW icon packs available on Play Store or on other resources.
Support for Payed Icon Packs is not implemented atm.
The following steps should guide you for use of such icon packs.
1. Install at least one of those Free Icon Packs
2. Start Bubble Launchers Settings panel via it's Icon in Home Launcher
3. Tap on 'Edit/Sort Favorite-Icons' - a special Favorite Panel View should be opened.
4. Long Press the Icon you want to change to custom.
5. A share menu for installed Icon/Theme Packs should be opened.
6. Select the pack of your choice - If you have more than one icon pack installed - use 'only this Time' (to have the choice option later).
7. The Icon-Overview of your selected Icon Pack should be opened.
8. Tap on an Icon of your choice to select.
9. Tap the back button.
10. Your App Icon should be changed to the one of your choice.
that's all.
I'm working on the support for Payed Icon Packs for a later version of Bubble Launcher.
...
Thanks, looks cool.
I try it

Right - so it can be uninstalled!
If you use 'normal' uninstall - you should be automatically linked to deactivate the Administrator Policy

Nice! Just bought the app. I've noted one minor problem though... If you launch the blacklist editor and then try to scroll it up to see more applications, it disappears and the settings window returns. This makes is practically impossible to blacklist apps that require the list to scroll to see.
Other than that, it makes a great addition to GloveBox and Gravity Screen. Looking forward to see where this project goes.
Thanks

Uhh... just to add to this... the problem only seems to occur if the Bubble hot spot is located on the left side of the screen. When on the right side of the screen I'm able to access the full blacklist listing.

Looks cool! What's the paid version called in the Play store? (can't find it)
Never mind, found it. But when I click on an app in the launcher they only come up full screen, not floating.
Never mind again, just saw that if not on a PA ROM apps only open in full screen mode.

Good launcher, I test it
hello i just bought the app,could get quite handy i think.
Some suggestions though.
1.Favorite only mode or maybe all other apps as an expendable tab or something like that that can be closed to make it cleaner for me people who mostly use the favorites.
2.customizable line height.I would like ti see more lines of apps at once.Sadly changing the dpi of the launcher doesn´t work as on all other apps.The circle gets cut off and the height doesn´t change at all or get too small and you see too much.
3.Could your app maybe force certain apps always to launch in floating window mode even when not lauched from bubble launcher but also from the notification bar or any other way?
4.option to disable app names.
5.improve list opening speed,maybe the in point 1 mentioned favorite only mode could help here.
6.If there would be a way to launch a favorite only mode like bubble but as a grid of icons that could be good.Faster and more convenient than the bubble i think.This way you could directly tap for launch in floating mode and long press for fullscreen mode.
ok,that´s it so far i can see.Please tell me what you think of it and what could be done maybe
also found a bug,even if made visible i can´t see the bubble on the left side on my Nexus 7,one my One x see it on both sides though.
Also icons on the Nexus 7 overlap with the app name text as can be seen in the screenshot
Launcher is very good
Im Not able to uninstall it..
I stopped the Service in the settings of the app, restarted the device twice. Still nothing.

This app supports all devices, Android 4.0 and above, although it is made specially to complement XMultiWindow & XHaloFloatingWindow Xposed Modules.
If you use XMultiWindow or XHaloFloatingWindow modes, you can launch a split view app by dragging the icon out of the sidebar to the top or bottom.
Instructions
After Installing, please do this initial setup

• Choose the method to launch apps using App Launch Mode
• (Optional) Enable Start on Boot

To Launch Apps, there are 2 modes.

• Drag an app to the respective location on the screen
You can customize what apps (PA Halo, XHaloFloatingWindow, XMultiWindow or Normally) to open when tapping or dragging
• You can remap the keys with XButtonActions or GravityBox to call the "Toggle MultiWindowSidebar" icon.
Remap the long press back button to have a Samsung-style experience

There are 2 bugs.
1) Chrome opening in center and not the top: This is XHaloFloatingWindow bug. I have already come up with a fix. It will be in the next version.
2) Only 1 app shows at a time: This is the Kitkat homescreen visibility bug. You can fix it by using this Xposed module

- a swipe back gesture over the icon to hide the bar.
- bar always in fullscreen so that there is no movement when entering fullscreen apps:
- a hide feature

Additionally to the the already mentioned bugs I found some more:
- mw splitbar overlapping original Samsung mw icon, the new mw icon and both sidebars
- splitbar doesn't show the arrow
- when I open the gallery (doesn't find another app with that behavior yet) the other window turns black
- it's not possible to open two instances of one app although the app supports that (for example s browser)

ohhh my god! how you did that! wonderful work...I love Samsung's Multiwindow and multiwindow sidebar!!
I am just testing it and it really looks cool..a few suggestions:
The arrow sidebar, I am, bad habit I guess, keep sliding from left to right, i guess because many of sidebar apps here XDA does implement the gesture thing...of course when I do it, the arrow keeps moving up and down..I guess this is all about usability thingy, I don't know but I guess I will get used that!
Hopefully, we will see some themes available to sidebar...:good:
I am looking at my Note 3's sidebar, when opened the side bar, it is full length screen (from bottom to top no spaces)..what I meant is sidebar is full length, so no spaces..almost like running top of launcher :fingers-crossed:
nevertheless, excellent work!!!!:good::good:

This is amazing. Hats off to you for making multitasking on vanilla Android not suck.
I've reported the two major bugs I encountered to GitHub, although both seem to be caused by XHaloFloatingWindow and not the sidebar itself. Let me know if you need more testing.
As for feature requests, I have but one - an option to launch apps in "normal" (full-screen) mode when tapping their icon.
Hi, really impressive, very good job! :good:
Seems to work very well on CM 11...thank a lot @zst123
thnx for this.
can u add it to bottom too like it allowed in 4.1.2 update on n7100??
and long press open close or shortcut so any gesture app can trigger that.
An Awesome App !! Thanks dev !!
BTW can i include this in my ROM ?
Can you make a drag ability
Because when i want to drag the Arrow out it seems to be slow and when i want to return it back itsn't back i must press om screen :/ .
Other than .. Thanks a lot !
P.S : is there a code to add in my ROM to make this on always when someone install my ROM ?

Really a great app, but somehow many icons have quirks. Many round parts have flat parts. E.g. the heads of no. 3 and 4 are not really round.
Or is that intention?
And a search or filter function for the icons would really be nice. It's not so nice to scroll through so much icons, especially without a scroll bar. You never know where you are.

Hi there. I just read about your app on Android Police. It sounded great so I downloaded the free version to try it out. I'm sure I will get the paid version also. I'm going to mess around and make a few tiles. I'll return to give you my thoughts. Not that my opinion makes any difference. Lol. Thanks
Tasker Intent Guide
Here's how you use Tasker's intent action to change a tile's state:
Add an Intent action and enter the following in the correct inputs:
Action:
com.quinny898.app.customquicksettings.CHANGE_TILE_STATE
Cat:
None
Extras:
tile:<Name or number of tile>, eg tile:Hangouts or tile:0
active:true/false, eg active:true (true = tile is white, false = tile is greyed out)
Package:
com.quinny898.app.customquicksettings
Class:
com.quinny898.app.customquicksettings.receivers.Tasker
Target:
Broadcast Receiver
Leave the rest of the options as their defaults (empty)
Screenshots of example:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",

}
First: Amazing work!
Second: Icon not appears on quicksetings in latest version.
Excellent Remarkable work done
Awesome app, thank you! Can't wait for further versions to unhide soon. Looking forward for playing games soon on these custom stock os.
Some issues:
1. Changing the color of "Adaptive Brightness" toggle icon doesn't work.
2. Same with the "Flashlight" toggle. And the first time I've tested the "Flashlight" toggle I wasn't able to switch off the flashlight. It went off only after opening the app.
3. The icon search feature isn't very useful. It shows only max. 5 results and it always starts at the beginning of the name. So you can't enter "auto" to find "brightness auto". Even with "brightness" you don't find it. You have to enter at least "brightness a" to find it.
Maybe a filter function would be better. And it should look in the whole name.
4. There are still some broken icons: Cancel, Headphone Dots, No, Question Mark Circle
Some requests (seen in another app):
5. Support for app icons would really be great.
6. It would surely be very handy if selecting an action would also set the corresponding icon.

5. Maybe soon
6. Same as 5

I'm assuming there's no way for this to work for the built in toggles or root toggles? I would have to create my own Tasker task and include this intent?
Also, the adaptive brightness toggle doesn't seem to work.

It works for any custom tile theoretically. It would look weird if you set a custom icon that was multi colour though.
The tile does work, it just doesn't react, it's a bug.

I did get the intent working to change the tile color when NFC is toggled.
Yes, your'e right. The adaptive brightness tile works it just doesn't change the toggle in the Android settings, which is fine with me.
Great app, the pro version is definitely worth the price. Thanks!
Great app, thanks! But when I click on the volume tile, it opens the media volume panel instead of the ringer. Don't know if this is a bug but if not, could you please add the option to open ringer panel? Thanks

Hi, thanks for the app, but I got fc on my xperia z3c with sony concept rom
same here! this app seems very promising, thanks to OP first of all, but also in my z3c I have FC when applying the new tile (I'm on version 1.4 and I am rooted, sony concept rom that should be almost pure aosp).
will a log be helpful for you? if so can I just grab it with syslog app maybe?
TIA!
No idea why, but I can't get the NFC icon to show up at all.
This is supposed to be a root toggle for NFC with the NFC icon.
@Quinny899
I have purchased the pro features of the app but the colour of tiles (nfc, sync, ...etc) doesn't change when change the state of these. Basically, this is something that makes useless the application because the user can not know in what state is the function chosen

Awesome, mate. It really rocks and make the LeeDroid Beast-mode Rom even more useful with the numerous possibilities in quick tile settings
Thx a lot for this wonderful tool, mate.

You must spend a lot of time on there if that's true XD
Loving this app, especially the Root Features. The 'Mode' Tiles are awesome. I haven't even had the chance to play with all of them.

Glad to hear it man, I am about to start redesigning the UI and developing it beyond just a quick settings application
Wow! Nice app!
Fantastic. Thanks for releasing it!
Hi, great app!
I'm having trouble adding one tile to the menu. I activated the "Inmersive Mode" tile. But when I try to drag and drop to the active tiles, it just disappears after passing over the division line.
(Mi device is a Moto Z)
Thanks in advance for your help.
Direct Call
Hi there, nice work,
Is there a way to add a direct call shortcut to the menu?

What is the LeeDroid Beast-mode Rom ?
Edit:
I'm guessing its a Rom specifically for the HTC 10. I'll have to check it out

It's an Android bug, tracker for it is here
I've never really checked how widespread the issue is, I have the same issue with users of my app, does it still persist in HTC's implementation or Samsung's I wonder

It's across the board in Android N, quite irritating.
You have 3 containers in edit view, the first is the active tiles container, 2nd is system tiles and 3rd is custom injected tiles.
The work around is, drag everything from the system tiles container to the active container, add what you want from the custom container and clean up.. a bit of a pain if you have a lot of system tiles, but it does the trick.

The biggest pain is that the issue is marked as "Small" so it's probably not going to be fixed for a while

Let's make some noise about it, Google introduced the TileService API & overlooked that one rather large issue

I suppose it's only going to become more of a problem the more apps add tiles...

Give it time, it will pick up for sure. Hey had another idea to bounce off ya. Would it be possible to add different weather icons, like chronus icon pack support or even add icons from a repo on my GitHub. That would be awesome, one of the things I miss from custom rom, was Omni team added their weather tile and it could show a monochrome icon or a colored icon. I added a bunch of different icons to the Resurrection Remix repos of mine.

Doable but a total pain in the nuts imo
Ido need to do some additional work on the weather tile state though so I will have a play around

First of all thank you for your amazing app, it's simply fantastic.
I would like therefore to report something and suggest something
1 - When I set up the quicksettings tiles (for example when I activate/deactivate the network mode tile) I loose all the tiles on my panel and have to set them up again from scratch. (is this a bug ?)
2 - I would like to ask you if you could add 3G/4G auto in the network selection ?
Thank You

Wow.. which device are you using as I'm not seeing the same behaviour on the Pixel, HTC U11 or HTC 10.. that sounds like a system bug.
3G/4G Auto is actually in the array but it's Network Mode specific, I will take a look at the latest available asap

Oh sorry, I miss read the bug report :laugh:
This should now be resolved on more recent app versions, it only occured when the system hadn't populated the tiles in the database prior to them being altered in the app.
2.7.0+
Thanks I am using it n my S8+ and love the immersive full screen mode ?? Left 5 stars feedback too.
have just pushed V2.7.6 to Beta
Accessibility service cleaned up, now listens for app install screen, permissions screen and accessibility screen.. if any of these are shown the Rounded Corners & Screen Filter overlays are switched off.
Rounded Corners & Screen Filter now cover the devices navigation bar.
All number pickers changed to SeekBar dialogues.
Lots of bugs squashed
Works fine for me. Just a question before I buy the full version, does screen record work properly?

Yes it certainly does
Systemui tuner is a nightmare, not much I can do with that as it's just a link to the activity... I might build my own
