Hi
I recently purchased a 32gb micro SD card off of a seller on eBay. It was working fine until I started using over 2gb of the card. My music became corrupted and such. I researched a little to first out what the problem may be to find out people are selling masked 2gb cards as 32gb. Now I am quite peeved about this notion but my SD card says 32 GB and not touched so how is this possible? And if it has been masked there has to be a way to unmask it right??? Please help. Thank you in advance.

I had similar problem: bought 8GB on eBay, only 2GB worked. I complained via eBay, mailed the card back to seller (keep the receipt) and eBay returned me my money because seller refused to. Wish u luck
I already contacted seller and he told me that it must be junk and he would refund me but my thing is, even if he did it on purpose, you can't open a micro so it has to be software... So if by chance they did mess with it, there has to be a way to fix it

Yes
Simple answer is Yes, people format 32gb card and sell them as 2gb they can format them to a range of deifferent sizes and they wont tell you. its always best to buy off a trusted interent company or buy from electrical shop or supermarket. even though they are more expensive than on ebay you know exactly what you are getting and you know its not be formatted or anything.
Yeah, it sucks.
I only buy sd cards from Amazon (and fulfilled by them) or Newegg because of this.

Send it back and buy a SD card from la local shop. I'm wondering: how much did you pay for it on eBay?

Anyone got a line on a cheap 32 gb micro SD card? The cheapest I can find is $90. Which is messed up, cause a 16 gb card is only like, 25-30 bucks. Any ideas?

Yeah, I've been looking, too. Finding a 32GB Class 6 is even more difficult.

I suggest the newegg that is where I bought mine and they were cheap! mind me asking what you plan on putting on a 32GB sdcard?

Well, if I can put all my music and stuff on my phone, then I can stop carrying my ipod back and forth to work everyday, and that makes me a happier camper.

I normally recommend newegg, but I just checked and they only have up to a 16gb micro-sd card currently...not only that, but it's a whopping $51!
There is a 32 class 6 released by a company called Komputerbay. But the resulting speeds in the Amazon review are disappointing. If our phones will be compatible with sdxc, that's probably a good wait. You can get a class 4 for a decent price right now, or grab a 16gb class 10. Sucks that switching an sd is a pain in the g2.

This is $90 including shipping:
http://cgi.ebay.com/280571952778
but it's supposedly a Class 6 card so it should be fast - if it's genuine, that is...

I think the Kingston class 4 32gb was just released and is a little over $150. Class 10s are expensive, but as with everything they'll be getting cheaper with time.

So, I am considering either a 32 or 16 gb microsdhc card. Amazon has this Sandisk 32 gb card for 36.81.(http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003WGJYCY/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=A3I03IKXN1ZUN8) Anyone have other ideas for good sources for MicrosdHC cards? 32 would be awesome, but 16 will do as well. I've had good luck with Sandisk. Has anyone had good luck with some of these off-brand cards out there?
I like to use NewEgg, not always the complete cheapest but they generally have good deals. Their cards are normally not made in china however and if you do have a issue with read/write speed or anything for that matter their customer service is impeccable, they will not hesitate to send you a new card even before you send the other back so you wont be without.

Same here, just bought a sandisk 16g class4 two days ago for 19.99 w/fs, it's on its way to mah house.
I just found out this deal at dealextreme. KingMax MicroSD card 16GB and class 10 for 32 euro's!
http://www.dealextreme.com/p/genuin...card-with-sd-card-adapter-16gb-class-10-54349
It's a real and good brand and according to the test it really gets class 10 speeds so that should be perfect for your phone. Probably going to buy one soon myself.
Got my 32gb for free thank you verizon

A few people using 32GB class 10 cards
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1214517
That was the first result in a Google Search for "inspire 4g 32 class 10"
Just for future reference...
A search on this site would have found it as well
Apparently so since I have one in mine and no issues.

Sorry I checked google but didn't find anything useful at the time, thank you a lot though and i got ripped off. and Are microcenter microsd cards legit?
Micro Center as a retailer is legite. But I don't think they have a Micro Center brand 32GB microSD. Do yourself a favor and buy from legite places like Newegg.com or BestBuy or even WalMart. And stick with a name brand card.
Got the lexar class 10 in mine from inception

Just remember you get what you pay for. If someone is offering a Micro sd at a price that seems too good to be true then it will be too good to be true. I agree with above. Stay to known good retailers. Like Best Buy or Wal-mart or office max.
Yes, I'm using a class 10 32gb micro sd right now. I did have to format it in a special way before it worked properly. See my post at:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=18832647#post18832647
Not that you may be on to something but I have only formatted past cards with windows or the phone itself and never had an issue like this. I have been using a 32GB card now for over 3 months. It is 85% full and works perfectly. And it was fully formatted (not quick format) with my computer in a card slot with an sd adapter.
I'm now using a 64gb micro SD.

This is for those individuals who pre-ordered the Verizon SGS3 32GB version of the phone.
We went into the VZW store to work out the unlimited data and when we were placing the pre-order for the SGS3 we were told the 32GB version was a 16GB NAND and 16GB microSD card.
When someone gets their 32GB from pre-order can you verify that it is in fact the specs we see on the other websites that the 32GB was the NAND size.
Then we can take the case up with the store and get the version we wanted because we were mis-lead by a store employee.
Thanks
It is a 32g internal storage. No sd card at least for sprint version. Why would u want to pay 50 bucks for a 15g card? Can get a 64 for that much. Ouch

Thank you all for the verification.
Yes we did agreed for the $50 for the SDHC card was fubar. So we need to get ours swapped from 16GB to 32GB.
I am looking for a BRAND NEW Galaxy 7.7 32gb version to buy for a reasonable price -- not like over $600 from Amazon.
Anyone knows where to get it in the USA?
Presently Verizon is selling the 16gb version for $399. I need 32gb because 16gb will run out of space after I am done with all my files/apps. I know you can put a microSD card in but most of my apps can't install/go to microSD. So I am restricted to 32gb version otherwise I would have taken the Verizon wireless version.
Pretty sure the 32gb version never saw the light of day.

It saw the light of day, I got mine from http://negrielectronics.com about 4 months back. It is not listed now but if you look hard enough you can find one.
Root and install Directory bind, buy a 64gb card, map game/app data to sd with Directory bind. You will have plenty of room.
