You just gotta learn Photoshop and gotta have lotta patience initially.
But if you want to create really amazing ones, you should learn After Effects, Illustrator, R.I.O.T. etc etc. Lol. Sounds s***load, huh?
@op: Good ones. A small suggestion if I may. You gotta mod them to make them seem fit for Pico.
For example: instead of having the boot animation showing Ubuntu 12.xx, you can modify it to Ubuntu Touch or something different.
Hope you don't mind me giving a suggestion. But keep it up and good luck :thumbup:

I did it using CFC GUI (http://tinyurl.com/n5co75) and photoshop.

All of these bootscreen's zips are flashable. Just put them on your SD card and flash them to use. You may have to delete (make sure to back it up) HTC's "bootanimation.zip" from your phone to get a new bootanimation. It is located in "system/media/".

This bootscreen doesn't repeat like in the picture below. After the animation below is completed, the clouds still move and the sun still shines but the grass doesn't grow again and the droid doesn't flip again.

Like the one above, what you see is what you get. Also, I did not make the images of the android on a skateboard, I found them on Google. I simply put them into the animation.

I think the skateboard one needs to be a 100th of a ms faster and the spiral one needs something in the middle. Otherwise I like em. I like that people are making bootscreens. Keep it up!

All this really is is an inverted version of OrangeStree i made for my wifes HaraJukuLovers theme. But i figured id share it.

There is probably some files that look better the other way that still work fine.. all i did was run an invert action script over the whole thing. So feel free to bust it open and mix and match the two themes however you see fit.
Edit: I modified a few files to work better, such as the message bubbles since they were black instead of white and the text didnt show.

Thanks Conan.. im gong to build a script that will find and edit colors so anything we build we can just run it through it and make 2 or 3 color versions with no extra work.

I dont use email on my phone.. my phone bothers me enough already. .lol. .so i havent did any email edits.. sorry. .but if you have anythign you want done im sure one of us will tackle it!

I use simple but making life easy HD2 Leo Boot & Splash NBToolFixed http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=684982
As for anims I use Gimp . Its very easy to make it's just drag and drop job
For Graphic I use Paintnet with plugins and effects
all free and all for free use So as you can c you don't need money eater like photoshop to do the job but course photoshop is indeed genial but not for my pocket . Thx for kind words and Best wishes for new year to U2
