Hi, is there any available ruu for cid-j15? My current rom is 4.2.2. Please if you have any link for a ruu download i will appreciate it.
I just got my HTC One. I rooted it, dont like it and want to go back to stock. Is there a Sprint .exe? What are the Brightstar.exe's? I cant get adb to pick the phone up. When I plug it up usb, it says no HTC MTP driver, so I need the .exe to go through fastboot. Any help?
Can someone please let me know which RUU I should download if I want to return to the latest (as of January 2014) T-Mobile US shipped ROM?
Thanks!

You need to flash eng hboot and install 1.47 original t-mobile Germany t-mobile RUU to return stock
Hey, DO NOT RUSH INTO THIS !!!!!!!!!
First, wait for others in your region with a Stock, S-On Desire S to get the update. Friends, maybe. Then, when you have confirmed that the update is in your region, think about going S-On. This is VERY risky, much riskier than S-OFF'ing. You might end up doing this for nothing.

As you can see, there are 2 ways to fallback to S-ON: 1-st way is dot-line as described in the link given by dan-fish. The 2-nd one, much safer, is switch to hboot ENG S-OFF 0.98.2000 and then to SHIP S-ON by RUU.
This should be OK.
There's no need to go S-On. Just wait for the OTA to roll out to more people. Soon as devs get their hands on it, they'll make it a Flashable Rom, pre-rooted, for S-Off users. The update is just for S-On guys, they're the only ones who need it.
Meanwhile, use VoidU S. Best Sense ROM EVER.

No idea i dont think the S4 version had problems rooting this update so my guess it will be fine (dont hold me to that).
What about the radio, is any changes?
So root works perfectly. Had no issues while rooting.

just throwing this out there but im wondering if anyone knew or heard any rumors of an ENG hboot for this device?
Without s-off an eng hboot is borderline useless
You can't flash it otherwise I believe, I remember it cause a brick to s-on a eng hboot so I'd assume using our unbrick method to flash it would just result in a brick itself

Yes sir look through the dev section its somewhere in there in the first few pages
Any unsigned hboot will brick it. On hboot 1.09 and below its recoverable. 1.14 and above, it will do nothing. It won't brick because it won't actually write.

The instructions for how to choose a RUU for someone completely new to RUUs aren't clearly written out in the Saga forums anywhere I know.
----
What is your phone's CID (Carrier ID) ? e.g. from fastboot
Code:
fastboot getvar cid
Use this post to find out which carrier's RUU you need.
Then head over to this page and find the RUUs from the carrier you just worked out.
If there isn't one that matches, try a generic one for your region (e.g. Asia/Europe/WWE) and if this fails, you will need to use a goldcard which will make the phone ignore your CID.
If you want to downgrade - you'll need to temproot and misc_version to trick the phone into thinking the old RUU is newer than your phone's version
If you want to upgrade - just plug in the phone and run the RUU
Using a RUU that matches your current versions will just factory reset your phone if anything.
If you want to downgrade to an old hboot, i.e. for revolutionary, you will want a RUU with version number 1.4x.xxx.x or lower.
