Your original phone charger can still charge it, no worries.

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to charge my Tornado (Qtek 8310) with a 450 mA charger? Will the battery be charged or will nothing happen?
Thanks in advance!

Read this and decide. My guess is that depending on the current charge on the battery, the charger may drain it completely instead of charging it. As before, my advise remains to not screw around with chargers that are not designed for the phone. Brand new chargers are five bucks plus shipping on eBay.
Well, I have my original charger (or it is the charger of my PDA, i'm not sure anymore ), but when I travel, I can't charge my phone or PDA. Then I will charge my phone with a battery operated charger, but the cheap one I can get loads 450 mA and I'm wondering if that will be enougt to charge the batt.
I don't think I will brick the battery, since I bought a solar charger and used a lot of different USB chargers.
I just looked at my original charger: 5V @ 1A, so I dont know if the batt will charge with 0,45 A, but I'm sure it will keep intact.
I've charged with a Motorola charger (5V 550mA) and it does work, just as you can charge via USB. However, it won't work if you run your battery completely flat (won't even turn on). In that state, you need to use the original charger to get it going.
Anyone know where to get a spare OEM battery and a proper charger to charge just the battery? I plan to charge phone with stock charger but want to charge a spare battery in a separate unit.

Picked up a spare battery charger on eBay when my charging port took a crap. $6 shipped. Not sure how long it'll last but my N1 is dying a slow death anyway. Hopefully I can get a few more months out of it.
hello,
I have recently bought an htc desire battery charger and an extra battery from ebay , both are suppose to be genuine products.
well, the situation goes like this:
the battery charger charge only my original battery (blinks with a white led)
but doesn't charge the second battery (lights a red led).
however, when I charge the batteries with my phone , both get charged just fine.
I'm not sure if the problem is with the charger or the battery , but I think it's the battery fault.
does the htc C410 battery charger can identify and charge only genuine htc batteries? did some one got that same issue?
is there a way to find out if a battery is genuine or not?
and is there something I can do with the charger so it can charge both batteries ? because right now it's pretty lame....
thx, Nitzan
Ive purchased two 3500mah batteries. While one is draining in the phone I would like to charge the other. Cant seem to find a battery charger for this type of battery. Anyone know of anything, like a dock charger for these batteries? Ive seen a solar one but im not interested.
My phone is an unlocked G2X that is stock being used with these batteries. Do I have to do anything to the phone to make these batteries last longer?
try ebay for a standalone charger.
like the title says does anyone know a good legit OEM s4 battery to buy in the UK with a charger so i can charger it separate instead of being in the phone, also i heard the zerolemon 3000mah are good but the charger is not so good so any suggestions would be great help
My 3000 Zerolemon charges fine in my phone.

Zerolemon all the way. Charges fine in the phone, and the wall charger works great for the extra battery. The ZL 3000 lasts a few hours longer than stock for me, giving me plenty of juice for a full day.
ok thanks for the replies does anyone know if the zerolemons wall charger have the UK 3 pin plug?
