Hey , Guys i can't flash my rom due to status 7 error it shows symlink failed something kind of.
LOG CAT
Please help me in this ill be glad.
Hi bro
Mostly you got an issue with updater script. If you did try to edit updater script then try flashing with an unedited version.. check if all the files in related bin and xbin folders are present in it. If still doesn't work.. then start fresh again.

hmm.. You must have not specified the links properly... did you specify the full path?
Try copying the updater script from cm10 beta 3 and then again edit the set perm values from the port to the base rom

Thanks
Its not the updater script, its the update-binary that's giving you problem.
Take an update-binary from any zip file that works for you and replace it into your zip file.

Hi, can someone help me please. M2SD cannot link sd-ext/dalvik cache to data/dalvik-cache. What seems to be the problem?
Specs:
HTC Explorer
JaggyRom4.1
Probably no space in /data
Use diskusage app to determine whether you have enough space.
There should be log in /data /m2sd...
Post it here.
If you're using mount2SD app, enable debug in app and post log screenshots Good bye

Mention what ROM are you using? And check if its supports memory script.. i.e. busybox & init.d??
And in case, it doesn't support then you cannot use any mem script...
So, tell what ROM it is. Then we may find the actual reason... and then the solution..
Press THANKS if it helped!!:good:

Sorry for the late reply.. but I think jaggy Rom already has a mount2SD script.. so you may not be able to use mount2SD again
After fresh install, delete all file's in /etc /init.d.. and then install mount2SD. May help
Also simple wiping cache and dalvik cache from recovery will help

Yeah why not there are 3 solutions for it
1.(Experimental) take out all the wifi related files of the Rom that is written in Feras rehman's guide make a diff patch of it by taking correct Meta-inf and flash
2.(Experimental) Unpack kernel..find folder named or related name "wifi" then delete it from there and replace it with the folder you took in the Rom..repack and flash
3.(last option) Contact my good friend adityaf who is porter of all miui roms for gfit
Thank u
